Gravity Mage with Level-Up System-Chapter 1330: Part 1: Blue Stone Auction
From MC's Perspective:
I continued to hear the conversation of Jason Nicholson for a few minutes. Then I left the place. While walking in the corridor, my expression condensed.
From the conversation earlier, I understood that one more person had arrived at the Silver Tower. Probably, a Wizard Seed Member.
But that member seemed to speak in a commanding tone to Jason Nicholson. That Jason Nicholson guy was already arrogant to begin with.
To think there are other members who could command him. Jason Nicholson has a strong background. If he is speaking politely to the other party, then the other party is stronger than Jason Nicholson.

My eyes flashed with a gleam. I always thought there were no rivals at the same magic level. But now I understand that other Wizard Seed Members are not weaklings. They could fight across magic levels as well.
It didn't take long for Jason Nicholson to return. Seizing the opportunity, I used the system probe function on him. The system displayed his details on the status panel.
When I saw his awakened magic, I raised my eyebrows in surprise.
"Indestructible Skeleton," I said in my heart.
This is the first time I'm seeing Physique-related magic rated as Sub-Taboo class, which means this magic should be extraordinary.
I don't know whether it can withstand my Gravity Magic or not.
"Did you follow me?" Jason asked.
He felt someone looking at him during the call earlier.
"No, I'm just wandering around this corridor," I replied.
Jason frowned. Then he thought of the person on the call earlier. His expression changed.
"A person is waiting for you at the Silver Tower. Let's go back after the auction," he said.
I nodded to him.
Time passed.
At noon, we entered the auction room. It was a wide, spacious place filled with numerous seats. There was a stage set up at the front where the items are usually auctioned.
Jason Nicholson used his identity to buy two tickets to the private room. Then we were guided to the private room by the staff.
On the way, Jason Nicholson said nothing, but I could feel the excitement brewing inside his heart. If I'm not wrong, he must be planning to do something during the auction.
Not long after, we entered the room and sat in our seats. The staff offered tea, but I rejected it. Jason, however, was enjoying the service.
Soon, many people started to fill the auction room. The individuals entering were all wealthy, and they were not even hiding their mana.
They were at least Magic Level-9 Wizards. Inside the room, my eyes wandered around them with curiosity, since I was new to the place. I thought it would be good to know the names of various forces.
But I doubted this guy would tell me honestly. Most importantly, my gaze was set on the similar private rooms opposite to us.
I wondered which big man was going to enter.
At the same time, Jason Nicholson was excited. He wanted the new member to face a loss in this auction, but he knew it wouldn't be easy to fool him.
"What should I do?" Jason muttered.
Then he decided to suggest a cheap product for him to bid on.
Time passed.
When all the lower seats were filled, the V.I.P.s began to enter the private rooms. They entered together with their entourage.
After looking at them, I knew these people were not easy to mess with. Their ages ranged from middle-aged to old. Except for us, there were no peers of the same age.
I felt a little disappointed.
"Black Tower Members," Jason muttered beside me.
Hearing that, I was surprised and followed his gaze. A group dressed in black clothing entered the room at last.
Among them was a middle-aged man with white hair, releasing ominous mana.
"This?" I was taken aback.
From the color of the mana itself, it could be said that he was an evil wizard. Then how could he walk into this place safely? A lot of doubts appeared in my mind.
When I turned around to look at Jason, he seemed troubled.
"What's going on?"
"Black Tower? Looks like there is a lot to learn about the towers," I thought.
I could guess the evil wizards were from the Black Tower. They seemed to be connected to the Mage Union. Could it be one of the magic towers under them?
An absurd question appeared in my mind. I made up my mind to look into this matter later.
Not long after, the auction started. The presenter was an old man dressed in a red tuxedo. He stepped forward to make an announcement.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm the presenter of the Blue Stone Auction today. My name is Carlson."
"Without further delay, I'll show you the first auction item," he said.
The next second, the circular platform in front of him opened, revealing a desk above the surface. On the desk was a square box where the auction item was placed.
The audience was not surprised; they were used to the scene.
Inside the private room, Jason became serious. He wanted to carry out his plan of tricking the newcomer.
Presenter Carlson removed the box cover before taking out a bright blue magic sword in his hand. It's a broadsword with double-edged sharpness.
There are ancient designs etched on both sides of the blade.
Gasp!
The audience exclaimed in surprise. The blue sword captivated everyone. Without the presenter needing to tell, they recognized it as a Magic Artifact, though they didn't know the level.
Inside the Black Tower member's room, the white-haired middle-aged man sneered upon seeing the blue sword.
"External decoration," he sneered.
He believed that wizards should use mana rather than rely on external things. Those who used external artifacts were not real wizards in his opinion.
The other V.I.P.s inside the private room had the same reaction. Only the Weapon Wizards were attracted to the beautiful blue sword.
Presenter Carlson watched everyone's reaction.
