"Edmund, move aside," Isabella warned.

After saying that, she didn't wait any further. She once again appeared in front of Shop Owner Frank, who looked bloodied.

His disheveled state showed that he was not in good condition.

"I don't want to be rude, but you leave me with no choice." After saying that, she was about to grab the hand of the Shop Owner.

Swoosh! Leader Edmund Smith grabbed her hand and pushed her away.

"Old woman, it's over now," Edmund said.

Hearing that, Isabella was taken aback.

Magic Lord Scott felt another powerful Magic Lord aura. He turned around and saw the person who had come was none other than Manager Lara.

She had managed to come here, but she was late.

"Manager Lara," he uttered in shock.

Lara was angry. She saw the injured state of Vincent Carey and she was pissed off. She then saw Isabella.

She rushed to Vincent Carey's side. Upon seeing her, Edmund smiled. Isabella's face turned ugly.

But she didn't give up. She was an official member and belonged to the Dark Faction.

"Lara, your relative is suspected of carrying banned items from SunHaven City. You should know how serious that accusation is."

"Let him show his storage bracelets. Otherwise, you won't be able to save him," Isabella said to Lara.

Lara looked at Vincent Carey. She sighed inwardly before taking out healing potions. She gave them to Vincent.

"Take him inside," she said to old man Rock.

I accepted the healing potion. I was glad that she had come here at the last minute. Then, I looked at the old woman and Magic Lord Scott before going inside the mansion.

"What are you doing?" Isabella asked.

Hearing that, Lara smiled and said, "Someone wants to talk to you."

After saying that, Lara gave her device to Isabella. Isabella had doubts, but she understood someone was on the call.

She accepted the device and answered the call. The words from the other end shook her to the core. Her expression changed drastically.

A deep sense of regret appeared in her heart. Now she started to panic. She apologized multiple times on the phone call before giving back the device.

Elder Blake and Edmund were there as well. They were surprised upon seeing the old woman's reaction, but they could guess something had happened.

Magic Lord Scott's expression worsened. Since Lara was here, he thought he wouldn't be able to do anything. He couldn't face this many Magic Lords alone.

He noticed old woman Isabella had changed after that call. She wouldn't help him any further.

Isabella then turned towards Manager Lara. She didn't know what to do now. The person on the call earlier was none other than Forbidden Wizard Erwin.

She then collected her thoughts and turned towards Magic Lord Scott.

The next second, she attacked him with brute force. Scott was caught off guard, so he couldn't defend himself properly. He received the blow, and his body flew backwards before hitting the ground.

The sudden turn of events caught everyone off guard. She didn't stop there. The old woman was going to vent her anger on Magic Lord Scott.

Because of him, she had offended Forbidden Wizard Erwin.

Boom! Scott blocked the attack this time. But still, he couldn't use magic spell attacks here. Seeing that Isabella had turned against him so fast, he guessed someone on that call gave her orders to attack him.

He could only think of the Forbidden Wizard. His expression turned ugly; he had failed in the end.

It was his second failure. He understood one thing: it was difficult to do anything against Shop Owner Frank in Crystal City.

Someone would always stand up for him. He could only target this person outside the city. He doubted anyone would be able to save him then.

A plan appeared in his mind gradually. He would capture Shop Owner Frank red-handed outside Crystal City in the future.

Magic Lord Scott then ordered the Flame Elemental Tower people to return. Their task ended in failure, and they needed to go back now.

In the blink of an eye, the vehicles in mid-air exited one after another. Scott was the last person to leave.

"No, I should thank you guys. You have no idea what you have just done. You are going to benefit in the future," Lara said to them cryptically.

Both didn't notice the weight of her words. Lara then turned towards Isabella. Her eyes turned cold when the old woman appeared.

Lara said, "You should be ready to report to Forbidden Wizard Erwin."

Hearing that, Isabella's expression worsened. She then took out a healing liquid with an advanced formula. It was very expensive and considered a life-saving item for a Magic Lord.

"Give it to him. Consider it an apology," she said.

Lara accepted the liquid bottle. She knew nobody was aware of Vincent Carey's identity. If Isabella had known, she wouldn't have dared to do that.

Isabella then glanced at the mansion before leaving the place.

Blake and Edmund caught the new information. They didn't expect Forbidden Wizard Erwin to come forward to support Shop Owner Frank.

Then they thought it must be due to the connection of Manager Lara. Edmund was glad that he made the right decision, whereas Blake was regretting his hesitation.

He hadn't taken action in the end because he was afraid of the official members.

"Manager Lara, then I shall take my leave. I will come back again to visit him." After saying that, Edmund left the place.

Elder Blake didn't know what to say, but Lara didn't blame him. She understood his situation.

"Elder Blake, I don't blame you. I'm glad that you didn't let the situation worsen," Lara said to him.

Blake sighed in relief. He then took his officials and left the place. Only then were the neighborhood people happy.

But they didn't know whether the situation would continue in the future, so they were afraid to stay in the community. However, they couldn't do anything about it.

It was even more impossible for them to drive away Shop Owner Frank. Even the Flame Elemental Tower people were helpless against him. Shop Owner Frank had such a wide range of connections.
