Gravity Mage with Level-Up System-Chapter 1833: Lord Erwin came
Crystal City-Shop
I’m going through the news inside the office gallery room. The customers have started coming. Patrick and Otto are helping them out.
My gaze was on the official statement released by the Silver Tower. I didn’t expect the meeting to end this quickly.
Now, I can use my real identity whenever I want. I hope the hostile forces cease their activities, but I’m sure they will continue later.
I had made enemies with my original identity as well. I had to be wary of the Elemental Towers and the wizard families.
Then I thought of the banned items. It’s strange that Manager Lara and Lord Charlotte didn’t ask me about the banned items. I didn’t tell them either.
But it was clear that they were in my possession. Should I hand them over to them? Then I shook my head. The banned item was no ordinary treasure.
I had this feeling that it would be useful to me.
Next, I began to search about Sunhaven City online. It’s the former forbidden area. I didn’t know whether it had any important places left.
A curiosity appeared in my heart. I have decided to visit Sunhaven City later.
Time passed.
Apart from the customers, several important people came to see me. They were here after learning about the Silver Tower news.
That evening, one more person paid a visit to me. He is Infinite Circle Leader Edmund. He is not alone; he is here with his assistant, Jonah.
In the room, we sat opposite each other.
"Shop Owner Frank, you seem alright," Edmund said.
"I’m doing fine. Thanks for the help that day," I replied with a smile.
"Don’t mention it. Now that you are working for someone new, I doubt these people would dare to attack again," Edmund said.
His assistant was silent beside him, but he was all ears. He is gathering information.
"Shop Owner Frank, is there any possibility to meet the new owner?" Edmund asked.
"I have just got news today, but his whereabouts are unknown. I hope he will come to the shop next," I said.
Hearing that, Edmund was not surprised. He had just come here to check on Shop Owner Frank’s health and to gather some information on the Wizard Vincent.
A few minutes later, they took their leave. After returning to the association, Edmund asked, "What do you think?"
Jonah raised his eyebrows and said, "Leader, I’m surprised by Shop Owner Frank’s fast recovery."
"They must have given him top-grade potions. But I have to tell you that he was patient from the beginning. He didn’t even retaliate."
"If it were others, they would have shown some anger or an outburst. But Shop Owner Frank was rather calm, as if he knew what was going to happen," Edmund said.
Hearing that, Jonah was quiet. He didn’t know what to say to that.
Meanwhile, Elder Blake made a visit with his official. He wanted to see my condition. At the same time, he wanted to know about the new owner.
I gave the same answer to him. Elder Blake made an apology for that day before leaving.
Time passed.
Until nighttime, a row of visitors came to see me. Everyone wanted to check on my health. They were worried whether I would quit or not after the new owner took over.
But they didn’t know that both identities belonged to me.
...
The next morning, I started the day as usual. But I soon received a call from Lord Charlotte. She told me to make an appearance.
It’s impossible for me to appear using both identities at the same place. I told her that I needed time.
Lord Charlotte accepted that, but she asked me to make a decision more quickly. She wants the local people to be reassured.
I promised her before ending the call. Then I entered the gallery office room and began the work as usual.
Time passed.
The customers from other cities have started coming in, especially the customers connected to the Silver Magic Tower.
Sometimes Patrick and Otto would ask my opinion before selling the items.
Post noon, I was resting, leaning against the sofa.
[Ding! Warning!]
[Forbidden Wizard detected.]
The system voice sounded in my mind. The next second, I stood up abruptly. I came to the gallery room.
I saw a person wearing a hoodie going over the collections. My gaze swept across the other customers, but their strength was clearly known.
But the person wearing the hoodie was different. Before I could ask the system to probe, the person turned around.
I saw his face and became speechless, because the person was none other than Lord Erwin.
I walked up to him and greeted him.
"Lord, I didn’t expect you to come here," I said to him.
"I wanted to come earlier, but now is the right time. You really do have good collections here. So you were serious about the appraisal business," Erwin said with a smile.
"Yes," I replied.
Erwin then swept his gaze across the place. He saw the staff members. He had seen through their mana cores; they appeared to be bound by some chains.
Since everyone had the same chains, his gaze then fell on Vincent Carey.
"It appears you have got something amazing. But it’s not easy to control a Magic Lord. The person over there was injured; he lost most of his mana core power. Yet his bloodline was strong," Erwin said.
"It’s hard to find someone with a similar condition again," he added.
Hearing that, I was not surprised that he found out about the crimson chains. Then I greeted him inside the gallery room. We sat down. I’m sure Lord Erwin was not here for idle talk.
"Do you have the banned item with you?" Erwin asked.
Hearing that, I nodded before standing up.
"I’m going to bring it." After saying that, I left the gallery room and went toward my room.
I didn’t expect his sudden arrival. Otherwise, I would have stored the banned item in the storage bracelet.
After coming to my room, I took the banned items from the system space and put them inside the bracelet. Then I returned to the gallery room.
The members were all taken aback. They knew someone important had come.
