Greatest Of All Legends-Chapter 673: Red and White Battle I

{Good evening, football fans from around the world and welcome to the Allianz stadium}

{We’re bring to you live, Uventus versus AC Milan}

{These two giant clubs with so much pedigree, rivalry, and trophies between them are once again meeting to battle it out for who will hold the bragging rights till their next meeting}

{The two sides have been spectacular this season with Uventus on a tie for first place on the league table with Inter Milan and AC Milan just right behind them}

{For Uventus, winning today would mean taking the lead on the league table as they have received good news today in the form of Inter Milan suffering a narrow loss to Lazio}

{AC Milan will however, be looking to stop them from gaining any points as they will be needing more points for themselves if they are to secure a top-four finish for themselves}

{Who will come out on top in this battle of titans? We’ll soon find out} The commentator gave opening commentary to both the viewers at the stadium and to those who would be watching the match from the comfort of their homes or viewing centers.

{Here are the lineups of the two sides}

{Starting with Uventus who are arranging themselves in their usual 4-4-2 formation. In goal we have Woljiech Sczesny, standing guard in the center back positions are De Ligt and Demiral and on their flanks are Rugani and Danilo}

{Bentacur and Artur will be the holding center midfielders while Jason and Bernadeschi will be on the left and right flanks respectively}

{Up front we see a strike partnership of Ronaldo and Dybala, those two have been in fine form of late}

{AC Milan arrange themselves in the 4-3-3 formation}

{Starting between the sticks for Milan is Maignan, Theo Hernandes, Kjaer, Calabria and Romagnoli are the four defenders}

{In midfield are Sandro Tonali, Kessie and Bennacer}

{In front are Rafael Leao, Rebic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic}

While the commentator was calling out the line-ups, the pre-match formalities were quickly done and the players swiftly spread themselves across the field, waiting for the referee’s whistle.

The whistle soon went off and the game kicked off, starting the game while the fans of the two teams cheered excitedly as the ball began moving around the field.

#20th minute...

The game had been on for a third of an hour and despite no lack of exciting football, attempts at goal had been few and far between.

AC Milan had been in control of the ball more and had higher possession stats, but they had been unable to make much use of the ball to break in behind the Uventus defense thanks to tactical and rock-solid defending from the Uventus defenders.

The AC Milan wingers had been trying to break past the flanks, but they were being tightly marked, cutting off all service to Ibrahimovic in the center and the striker was already slowly growing frustrated.

The Uventus team’s attack on the other hand had not seen much of the ball either, but they had gotten two counter-attacking chances, which had ended with shots at goal, but neither of the shots had really threatened Maignan who had comfortably scooped the ball.

The Uventus team however, wasn’t giving up and were carefully biding their time as they moved around tightly, trying to steal possession from the Milan players.

Their chance soon came with Bentacur intercepting a pass from Bennacer to Kessie.

Bentacur immediately launched himself forward and began dashing through the center while the other Uventus players began making runs forward as well.

Jason had also began moving as soon as he noticed the chance. He had been trying to watch the game earlier and he noticed that while Ronaldo was in the center, Dybala had drifted wide to the right and would not be able to make it back to the center in time.

Looking at the open space on the left, Jason began making a run forward, but maintaining a steady pace just behind his marker.

While Jason was making his cutting run, Bentacur had already crossed the center of the field and sent a pass forward to Ronaldo who was a few meters outside Milan’s penalty box.

Before the ball reached him, Ronaldo had already realized that he was being double-marked and couldn’t take the ball anywhere on his own, so instead of trying to dribble, he sent a one touch pass back towards the midfield and then tried making a dash out towards the right.

Knowingly or unknowingly, his run towards the right pulled the two center backs along with him, leaving the left path towards the penalty box even freer than before.

Looking at the open space in front of him and seeing the ball rolling towards Artur, Jason immediately called for a pass and burst past Calabria.

Seeing the open space and Jason’s call for a pass, Artur did not hesitate to send the ball into Jason’s path as he ran into the penalty box.

{Defense splitting pass and Jason’s onto it!?} the commentator called as Jason caught the ball with the outside of his right foot and slowed it down, bringing it under control. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com

Pushing the ball forward ever so slightly, Jason swept his foot at it and sent it flying toward the bottom left corner of the goal.

Thinking Jason would try to curl the ball around him, Maignan wasn’t able to react to Jason’s sudden shot into a path he would have been able to cover more easily and the ball smashed past him and into the goal.

{It’s in! Uventus draw first blood!} the commentator screamed as Jason dashed to the sidelines and sat down on the grass, holding his hands forward and pressing imaginary buttons on an imaginary game pad.

{That was a beautifully worked attack and Uventus once again prove the lethality of their counter attacks}

{It only took them seconds after winning the ball and they were able to strike deep into the heart of their opponents}

While the commentator was shouting into his mic, his voice could hardly be heard above the loud cheers of the tens of thousands Uventus fans who were cheering excitedly in the studio.
