Greek Mythology: I open a treasure chest at Olympus-Chapter 127: God of Darkness Erebus never existed
Chapter 127: God of Darkness Erebus never existed
Chapter 127: God of Darkness Erebus never existed
“Secret, what kind of secret is it?”
Apollo looked at the beautiful goddess in an unusual mood and was curious.
If it was true, as Athena said, he was Pallas, the God of war strategy, who single-handedly planned the death of Metis and also had this plan before Metis met Zeus.
That the entire Titans’ divine court of destruction, I’m afraid, was only a little incidental under this secret.
Athena looked around warily, suddenly close to Apollo’s ear, and whispered: “That secret I know not much, but from some of the things left behind by the mother, with fate and the Gods of Chaos, but also with the goddess Nyx and her husband.”
Here, she lowered her voice again: “One of them is very amazing; she says that Erebus, the God of darkness, never really existed.”
Apollo’s pupils suddenly tightened.
The God of darkness, Erebus, never existed?
How was this possible?
One of the five great Primordial Gods, husband of the Goddess of night, never existed. How ridiculous and funny was this?
Not long ago, he was in the dark temple and saw the tall, thin figure shrouded in darkness.
“No matter how ridiculous that sounds, I am definitely not mistaken.” Athena’s face was serious.
Apollo certainly knew that she was not one for such jokes.
Scanning the clean and tidy room around him, he couldn’t help but recall his experience in the dark temple, the tall, thin figure who had opened his eyes slits but hadn’t said half a word since the beginning.
Could that be just a fake? The real him never existed.
If so, what happened to Nyx, the Goddess of night?
Apollo thought a lot.
Seeing him in deep thought, Athena there then said: “I just said I suspected that Nike is the eyes of Pallas to spy on me. You do not believe?”
“Actually, Nike may have no problem herself, but sometimes, monitoring does not require her will, and it can be done naturally.” The Goddess of wisdom was melancholy.
“In addition to the matter of my mother, there is another matter that may also be related to Pallas. I don’t know if you have noticed that Prometheus, who is locked up in the Caucasus mountains, is in a very wrong situation.”
“I’ve been watching him for a long time.” Laughing softly, Apollo thought of Cronus, the mysterious magician with a dark cloak and translucent mask.
“The beginning of conflict between Prometheus and Zeus is widely known to the gods, and you should know it well.”
“He created human beings, but in negotiating with Zeus on human sacrifices to the gods, he used cow bones posing as cow bellies, deceiving Zeus, triggering Zeus’ discontent, with the subsequent failure to give flame and even his theft of fire.”
“This matter sounds too absurd. The famous wise man of the gods, the great prophet, actually presumed to use such a child’s trick to deceive the King of Gods.”
“But anything that doesn’t make sense always has its reason behind it.”
Athena’s bright eyes shone with wisdom.
“I suspect that Prometheus, who was a close friend of Pallas’s and his mother’s, had some hint of what was going on and that Pallas had designed it, too.”
“Later, I had secretly gone to the Caucasus mountains to see Prometheus, but suddenly found that the prophet seemed like a changed person.”
“Changed a person?” Apollo frowned.
“Literally, he’s not the man he used to be in the Caucasus,” Athena said in a chilling tone.
“It’s getting more and more interesting. Pallas, Prometheus, Erebus, Nyx, Fate, Chaos… seemingly unrelated things connected by a secret line.”
Apollo’s golden eyes, flashing with a glow, seemed to look through the mists of time to see through the hidden reality behind everything.
But when his ‘all-seeing eye’ looked at Pallas in the river of time, on an island far away overseas.
A middle-aged man, elegant, was smiling as he surveyed the winged, playful daughter in front of him, and the corners of his mouth suddenly curled into a smile.
“The current generation of descendant gods is really something, but such a degree still can’t touch my essence.”
A smile flashed on the middle-aged man’s face as a boundless force merged into the river of time, erasing everything associated with him.
At the same time, he sighed and said to his daughter in front of him, “It seems that all these years of surveillance on her, instead of achieving results, she has discovered the horses’ feet, worthy of being the daughter of Metis, she is just too inflexible. Otherwise, I would not have needed to sacrifice her in the first place.”
As he whispered, the golden-haired girl, bathed in the glory of victory and with long white wings, had eyes that constantly flashed golden colors, and her face was filled with pain.
Looking at her distorted face, the middle-aged man said indifferently.
“This is the punishment for your unwillingness to obey my will, but this is actually good. Only the feelings exchanged with sincerity are the most valuable.”
“You have been by her side for so many years, and although you have not achieved anything, a sincere heart has finally won her the same heart.”
“Even though she knows you might have a problem, she still can’t bear to hurt you, which is a valuable bargaining chip.”
So saying, the middle-aged man patted the blonde girl’s shoulder and gently said: “Go back; continue to stay by her side. It is best to get close to the vice ruler of the divine court.”
The blonde’s eyes sparkled, and she flew out with her head down.
Looking at her departing back, the middle-aged man sighed abruptly on his face: “What a lowly tactic, when have I been so mean?”
“Probably from the time when I was betrayed… How did they betray me?”
The middle-aged man suddenly scratched his head as if something could not be remembered.
……
“It seems that there are still many secrets hidden in this world. You can’t slack off just because of promotion.”
Walking out of Athena’s temple, Apollo’s face was hung with profundity.
He observed Pallas in the river of time while the latter’s figure suddenly all disappeared from the river of time without a trace.
This certainly proved Athena’s claim that Pallas was very problematic. 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝒏𝙤𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝒎

“Erebus never existed… What secret does this hide?”
While pondering carefully, Apollo returned to his own temple of light.
Aphrodite, dressed in a long white dress, was waiting at the entrance of the temple, her face full of anxiety and expectation; when she saw his figure from afar, she suddenly pouted.
“Humph?just returned to go to Athena. What do you take me for?”
As she was muttering, Apollo’s figure flashed and appeared in front of her in a flash, holding her firmly in his arms.
“Probably will always be at home waiting for my wife.” Gently stroking her beautiful long hair, he whispered in her ear.
Aphrodite’s cheeks brushed red, blushingly pointed inside, and said: “Artemis is still inside.”
Apollo looked over.
Only to see the temple garden, a tall laurel tree, quietly standing under a silver-haired radiant young girl.
She wore a short dry skirt, revealing snow-white calves, the upper half of her back a pair of silver three arrows, chest wearing a spotted dream-like crystal necklace, set off the size of the peaks.
Waterfall-like long hair casually draped over the shoulders but did not affect the delicate and transparent flawless cheeks under the cold eyes. With her silent gaze, the beautiful corners of her mouth held a smile towards him over a long distance.
Apollo took Aphrodite and walked up to her quickly: “Sister, you’ve been progressing very fast lately; you’re already at the seventh rank of the Main God.”
“Who made me the sister of Lord of light?” Artemis smiled and stretched out her white wrist, stood slightly on her heels, and stroked Apollo’s golden hair.
Aphrodite looked at the two with a smile and said, “Eros has been in trouble again recently. I’m going to teach him a lesson. You guys talk first.”
She left the room quietly.
Under the upright laurel tree, only the blond and silver-haired teenage girl, four eyes facing each other, full of warmth.
