"You are too kind," said Yu Dong with a sigh. "Did you not see that she was looking down on you just now?" Even though Li Xu did not say it outright, she was staring at Xiao Hua rather contemptuously as if he would jump in her arms if she were to say that she was willing to accept him.

"You should have slapped her for touching you, does she think that she can do whatever she wants just because you were once a courtesan?"

Yu Dong noticed that Xiao Hua was not happy when Li Xu clasped his hands but the woman did not let go it was as if she thought that there was nothing wrong with what she was doing.

Hearing her words, Xiao Hua curled his lips mockingly and said to Yu Dong, "Who here respects me? They only give me a face because you are my soon-to-be wife. "I will why not?" Yu Dong agreed without hesitation, causing Xiao Hua to roll his eyes. He pinched her on the cheek and said, "Dream on! Now let’s wipe the graves."

He said to Yu Dong and then crouched down, the two of them poured the cool water on the two tombs and wiped them carefully. The dirt was cleaned while the mud was scraped off. Xiao Hua wiped the sweat off his face as the sun was getting harsher with each minute!

Yu Dong looked at him and sighed. She took out the straw hat and then placed it on Xiao Hua’s head.

"You will get a heat stroke at this rate. Don’t forget to drink water," said Yu Dong as she looked at the mer who seemed to have forgotten to take care of himself when worrying about his parents. She knew that he loved his parents but she did not think that Xiao Hua adored his parents so much. The way he was cleaning the tombs was as if he was cleaning the faces of his parents.

"I know. I know, you nag so much," Xiao Hua took the water pouch and sipped from it. He then went to work again.

While the two of them were working there were a few gazes locked on them. And how could people not look at them when they looked so good together?

The two of them looked like they were a pair that walked out of a painting.

One of the onlookers was Li Xu’s husband Meng Junshan. He glanced at his wife who was doing nothing while he wiped his daddy’s grave. Seeing this he couldn’t help but grit his teeth. If there was no comparison then there would be no difference.
