She was worried that if the tribe’s members started to have second thoughts like Shao Xia, then their tribe would end up falling into a lot of trouble. The thought of what he would do to Shao Xia if he were to get angry, who knows what he might do?

Thus, she was quite glad to see that Ruan Chanchan was doing well and was not injured in the least.

"Chief Xie?" Ruan Chanchan was surprised to see the panting woman. She blinked her eyes and stared at the woman who came running as if she were worried that someone would bully her.

’She thinks that you are easy to bully, darling,’ said Xiao Xi, sounding really amused as if he couldn’t even fathom such a thing happening.

"Why? Why are you laughing? Her worries are completely justified," said Ruan Chanchan as she patted her chest confidently. "I might not look like it but I am quite a delicate person."

"Chanchan, tell me. Are you worried that Shao Xia will leak the information to other tribes?" Chief Xie had heard about the rumours but she didn’t dare to believe them after all, Shao Xia was one of the strongest tribe members of their tribe and if she jumped tribes, then it would be really problematic.

Losing a totem warrior was, after all, a big thing!

Ruan Chanchan didn’t say that she was worried about Shao Xia betraying the tribe. She simply said, "I am just trying to be cautious. As much as we would like to ignore the truth, our tribe is in the end really weak, Chief.
