"You—" this was the first time someone had spoken to her in such a manner. She glared at the mer as if she wanted to kill him, but she knew that there was no way she could have done that, possibly for two reasons. First, this mer was way too strong for her to just kill him; secondly, he was also the son of the chief. If she attacked him, then naturally, the people around them would not leave her alone. They would certainly protect him, and Li Nuanzi couldn’t take on so many people at once; this was something that she knew.

Sucking in a breath, she gritted her teeth and said, "Then please...could you let me have a taste of it?"
