Harem Legion: Queens of the Apocalypse-Chapter 202 Ex-Cons Want His Body - and His Food
"Victoria, just give me a little more time, alright? I... I really don’t want to do this..." Magnus stood quietly under the vehicle, listening to Chloe’s voice. Now that got his attention. Chloe was the squad captain - who could make her this hesitant, even scared?
"Chloe, that’s not what you said last time. And I already gave you time. You just didn’t have the guts - you missed too many chances."
The second voice was Victoria’s. Magnus frowned. What the hell were they doing in the shower van? It almost sounded like Chloe was afraid of her.
"Victoria, I... mmm! Mmm-mmm..."
Trouble? His instincts flared. Without thinking more, Magnus swung himself up into the vehicle. But the second he stepped inside, he froze.
Victoria and Chloe stood there stark naked. Chloe was pressed to the wall, Victoria wrapped around her like a second skin, her hands roaming as she kissed her with something close to tenderness...
His sudden arrival jolted them both. Victoria turned her head and blinked, surprised to see Magnus. Chloe let out a sharp cry, face flushing as she scrambled to cover herself.
"What the hell are you two doing?! Victoria, you - "
Magnus stopped mid-sentence, the rest dying in his throat. Victoria wasn’t Awakened - Chloe was. If Chloe really didn’t want this, ten Victorias wouldn’t be enough to stop her.
"Heh... You saw it, Captain. What do you think we’re doing?" Victoria turned, completely unfazed, not even trying to cover herself. No shame at all.
Magnus hesitated. It sure wasn’t what he’d expected. Looked way more like a mutual thing. Not knowing how to deal with it, he shifted his gaze and moved to step down from the van.
"Wait a second."
Victoria’s voice stopped him. She turned back to Chloe, smiling sweetly. "Chloe, don’t say I never did anything for you. Here’s one last chance, right in front of the Captain. You sure you want to waste it? After today, don’t expect another."
"Victoria, stop! I won’t say anything, I’m fine, I’m not saying anything! Captain, please, just go!" Chloe had turned away, face hidden behind her hands, voice barely holding together.
Something clicked in Magnus’s mind. He didn’t have the full picture, but he had a good guess. Without speaking, he stepped off the van.
"You really won’t say anything, Chloe? He’s not even looking back..." Victoria’s voice followed him as he walked away.
Magnus let out a quiet sigh. Whatever had gone down between the two, it wasn’t for him to poke into. Not after that mess with Ashton. That had taught him to back off. He didn’t want people thinking he was the kind of man who’d pry into his squadmates’ private matters.
Still, his control wasn’t perfect. Sometimes, desires got the better of him.
Back in his RV, he lit a smoke, poured a glass of wine, drank it in one gulp. Soon, sleep took him.

The next morning, just as dawn broke, someone stormed into his room, suddenly slapping his thigh.
"Magnus! Wake up!"
Did he forget to lock the damn door last night? He sat up, blinking in confusion - Molly stood there, face tense with urgency.
"What is it? What happened?" he asked quickly.
"A group showed up outside! All women, and they’re strong - just like the Doyle sisters, they’re all double-speed Awakened!" Molly’s voice was sharp with panic.
"What? All of them are double-speed Awakened?!"
Magnus jumped out of bed, threw on his clothes in a rush, and barked, "Where are they? What do they want from us?"
"No idea!" Molly answered, flustered. "They’ve taken Abigail and Emma! Said they want to meet with our leader. Said it’s a negotiation!"
"Where are they now?"
Magnus was already dressed, striding out the door as he spoke.
"Right at the granary gate," Molly replied, hurrying behind him. "Emily and Sophia are already there. They’re waiting for you!"
Molly sounded certain, but Magnus still wasn’t buying it. A whole team of second-time Awakened? Last time they escaped the Anomaly Zone with the Doyle sisters, only that old black guy made it too. If there were others, at most it’d just be him. A whole group? That’s crazy.
He activated a Metal Crystal and stormed toward the granary gates. They were shut. Emily, Sophia, Liana - his core girls - were all there, surrounded by patrol members anxiously talking at once.
From the scattered reports, here’s what he gathered: five women using Metal Crystals silently infiltrated through the sentry post, snatched the Doyle sisters, then ordered the rest to guide them here for "negotiation."
Magnus frowned. "They’re all women? No men among them?"
A patrol member hesitated. "I... I don’t think so. We didn’t see any. Never got near their vehicles either. Only saw the ones who came out."
Smelled wrong to him.
He had the side gate opened and stepped outside first. Emily and the others followed closely behind.
Outside, trucks were neatly lined up along both sides of the underground granary’s entrance, leaving a wide path down the middle. Right in that cleared lane, five women stood confidently, decked in hiking gear, no helmets. Behind them, a long line of off-road vehicles and two busses idled quietly.
One woman stepped forward boldly, eyes scanning Magnus and then flicking to the women behind him. Her voice rang out. "You the leader here?"
Second-time Awakened, no doubt.
First-timers had a faint red glow in their eyes, but these... these women’s eyes glowed deep crimson. You couldn’t miss it.
"Let mine go, then we talk," Magnus said coolly. But under the surface, anger was already bubbling.
Snatch my people and call it negotiation? That’s not a meeting, that’s a damn kidnapping.
"Oh? Tellin’ me to let ’em go just like that?" Georgia chuckled, stepping forward herself, then turned to Lana. "Lana, look at this pup actin’ all fierce. Says he’ll bite if we don’t behave!"
Georgia and Lana. So it was them - Awakened from Everrest Women’s Penitentiary. Word was, their entire crew of 177 double Awakened women had left Blackdragon Province a month ago, heading toward Queenstead City in Eastmark Province, by way of Northreach.
On the road, they ran jobs like this one - grab a couple people, pressure the team for supplies and Crystals, then vanish before a fight broke out. Not a full robbery, just enough to make it hurt.
And today?
Magnus was clearly a jackpot.
Georgia grinned. Jackpot indeed.
