Heaven, Earth, Me-Chapter 1503. Entering The Starlit Molting Pool.
Back in the Blue Pearl World, Yasenia was going through her years of training. Each of the four zones, [Starlit Molting Pool], [Embercore Nesting Grounds], [Genesis Thunder Rift], and [Sovereign’s Echo Cavern], were extremely good resources that she wanted to take advantage of.
After thinking about it, Yasenia decided to go to the [Starlit Molting Pool] first. The reason was that this zone would increase her own resilience. After all, when she first went there, and Ao Xianlan explained its purpose, Yasenia knew that she could draw much more from it.
Her bloodline and affinity, clearly in tune with the attributes used for this zone, would resonate profoundly. The positive effects from this zone would later help her with the other areas.
Yasenia flew over to the Starlit Molting Pool in her Dragon Form, and she soon arrived at the edge. Once she did, she noticed that the number of dragons was several times higher than when Ao Xianlan presented the zone to her.
She pondered and soon understood. ’Right, everyone had gone to see me fight the True Dragon Sovereign phantom. It’s normal that it was empty back then.’
Once Yasenia landed, her giant body drew everyone’s gaze. After all, her size was comparable to, if not larger than, peak-level Mythical Core Dragons.
On average, dragon sizes along the Sixth Realm varied from one to two kilometers long, up to 30 to 40.
Yasenia was more than double that, making her look like a phoenix in a flock of chickens.
As she was going to step forward, she heard someone call from the side. "You must be Sovereign Yasenia! It is quite an honor to meet you here."
Yasenia turned her dragon head and looked down. A 15-kilometer-long red western dragon was looking up, showing a faint smile. She was not rude. After all, this dragon was a Level 8 Mythical Core dragon!
Someone with that strength could easily beat her. She tightly folded her wings in respect and smiled. "Yes, Senior. That would be me."
The Dragon noticed the small gesture, making him feel a little better. Approaching Yasenia, even as someone with more strength, was actually quite difficult. The aura she naturally emitted was incredibly imposing when you combined Bloodline, passive Dragon Strength, Progenitor pressure, and Sovereign aura.
Even if she just stood there, mortal dragons could barely lift their heads to glance at her when nearby.
"Is this your first time in the Starlit Molting Pool, Sovereign Yasenia?"
Yasenia looked over and nodded again. "Aunty Xianlan explained to me about it and told me to go to the central area. Of course, that’s my intention. Any advice that the senior would like to give me on that? She was somewhat superficial with the explanations."
The senior was startled. After all, even he couldn’t enter the central area due to the pressure! He was puzzled. ’Is Ancestor Xianlan trying to motivate her to go as deeply as possible?’
That felt like the only option. So, not to spoil it, he intended to encourage her.
However, anywhere and everywhere, there would be people who, instead of feeling awe, would either be jealous or resentful of those better than themselves.
"Ha! Even if you’ve beaten our Sovereign trial, Sovereign Yasenia should avoid being boastful. If Ancestor Xianlan wants to, she can easily throw you out regardless of your achievements. Ancestor Xianlan hates those boastful juniors the most!"
Yasenia almost rolled her eyes as she turned to look at the relatively petite eastern dragon. She was quite a beautiful female eastern dragon, with gorgeous blue scales and golden streaks. Her colors were quite similar to Yasenia’s.
Comparing them felt a bit insulting for our dragoness, though. After all, Yasenia’s scales carried a trace of cosmic beauty, glittering with faint starlight and leaving traces of constellation patterns.
It was like comparing an artistic piece with a superficially painted one.
Yasenia noticed the female dragon’s level was a Level 9 Mythical Core Dragon. Therefore, she attempted to mediate between them. She smiled and answered softly. "Senior, I have not offended you in any way. Is there a reason Senior is targeting me? If junior has made an etiquette mistake, please correct me. I have not grown up in a Dragon Clan, so I might be ignorant."
The last thing Yasenia wanted was to lose precious training time! So, her word choice was the previous.
Everyone was initially dissatisfied with the Level 9 senior, and now that Yasenia acted so politely, some were even sneering at the female dragon!
The female dragon, naturally, thought that her words were just a ploy to make her lose face, so she became quite upset and heated. Even with her age and strength, as a dragon, she was naturally arrogant. Having her pride wounded, she quickly glared at Yasenia.
"Do you think that you can offend me and get unscathed? Let me tell you, I am a third-generation descendant of Ancestor Long! If you offend me, you won’t have a good ending."
Yasenia’s patience disappeared, and her polite bodily language quickly disappeared as she looked down coldly. "Since you don’t appreciate the single way out I’ve given you, I won’t be polite anymore."
She turned her head toward the distant mountain and spoke, her voice not loud in the slightest. "Mom, someone is bullying me."
’You want to compare backgrounds? Heh. Let this Young Miss show you what true background is!’
The female dragon was bewildered only for a second before a terrifying aura of death descended from the sky.
BOOM!
Most of the dragons present were pushed down onto the ground, helpless, and Tatyana manifested a second later. "Who dares bully you under my watch?"
Yasenia ignored the utterly terrified gaze of the female dragon and unceremoniously pointed at her with a claw. "It’s her."
Tatyana, being human-sized, was like a speck of dust among these dragons. However, this speck of dust had the strength to flatten all of them with a single wave of her hand!
The Level 9 Mythical Core dragon spoke up with a tremble in her tone. "Y-You! You can’t do anything to me. I am the granddaughter of Ancestor Long!"
Tatyana ignored her words and stepped forward. The void broke before her as she appeared in front of her and touched her. "[Death Law: Perish]."
The world’s laws twisted around Tatyana’s hand, her voice commanding the world to obey her every order. An instant later, endless Death Energy barreled into the woman. Her eyes turned blank, and a moment later, the dragon that dwarfed mountains fell from the sky with a loud rumble.
Ancestor Long’s roar echoed in the distance. "Who dares kill my granddaughter!?"
Tatyana looked over and smiled at Yasenia. "I will deal with the oldie over there. Don’t worry and enter the Starlit Molting Pool. If anyone else bothers you, just tell me. These years are not for you to lose them while fighting Young Masters and Young Misses, but to train."
Yasenia nodded, not afraid that Tatyana would get into trouble, and turned toward the Starlit Molting Pool. She gave up asking the Level 8 Senior and instead decided to test the waters herself.
So, Yasenia carefully stepped forward, making sure she didn’t step on the young dragons bathing at the edge of the Starlit Molting Pool. At the shore, the pool was extremely shallow for herself, so she didn’t even feel anything.
Seeing the massive dragon walk away as if nothing happened, every other dragon was bewildered. "S-She died? Just like that?"
"I can hear those two fighting in the distance. However..."
"However, what?"
"It seems that Ancestor Long is losing."
Everyone became silent once more. After a few minutes, they saw Ancestor Long’s giant dragon body descend from the sky, riddled in injuries that radiated incredibly powerful Death Energy. The dragon had an incredibly upset expression, but he clearly didn’t dare to vent out!
Ao Xianlan, having observed everything from start to finish, was not surprised in the slightest. ’Tian Long is just Tatyana’s mount, and his strength is basically on par with mine. Did he really think that he could beat someone who tamed such a creature?’
With a snort, she closed her eyes and hugged her tree closely, entering a state similar to cultivation.
Meanwhile, Yasenia carefully walked forward in the pool. ’Being too big is a disadvantage as well. These little dragons are so easy to step on, sigh.’
For the small dragons, Yasenia’s passing felt like a moving blue sky moving over. It made them scared stiff, and they dared not move.
Yasenia, getting increasingly submerged, couldn’t help but squint faintly. "I can feel a very slight improvement now."
She didn’t know how far or close she was from the central area. However, the starlight-like liquid had become deep enough to submerge her claws entirely. Each of her normal steps covered several kilometers at a time, so she was quite fast even when she looked leisurely from the outside.
A few hours later, the Starlit Molting Pool had become deep enough to submerge Yasenia up to her lower belly. Looking deeper, her spiritual sense could catch the presence of other dragons. Therefore, she continued forward.
"Still, the pressure is starting to build up."
The Starlit Molting Pool’s water was sticking to her scales, trying to drill into them quite aggressively. It was not the harmful type of drilling, though. She had stopped for a little while to test it, and she noticed that the Starlit Molting Pool would refine and transform the composition of the scales to a degree.
It was quite mysterious, leaving Yasenia in awe at how the senior dragon could have created such a peculiar area. ’Truly miraculous.’
However, that was not entirely why she came here. So, she continued forward.
The depth of the water continued increasing.
10 kilometers deep... 15 kilometers deep... 20 kilometers deep... 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Eventually, Yasenia could submerge her entire body into the Starlit Molting Pool. ’This place is... absurdly large.’
It was like a personal ocean within the Dragon Clan. Incredibly vast and deep.
Once she fully submerged, Yasenia began to truly feel the effects of the pool. Her scales, under the pressure of the dense and mysterious power, cracked and repaired constantly, being reforged by the essence that hid in the Starlit Molting Pool.
However, this little pain was not something Yasenia would care about. Her usual refining baths were much, much worse than what she was currently feeling.
Therefore, she changed her walking to a swimming motion. Her legs left the ground, becoming limp, and her wings began flapping front to back like two large fins. With a serpentine motion, Yasenia’s speed in water was swift and agile!
’I can feel it... In the central area, there is something very special.’ She, naturally, was not crazy enough to take something that formed the Starlit Molting Pool away. However, she wanted to see what it was very badly.
