Heaven, Earth, Me-Chapter 1511. Genesis Thunder Rift.
Accompanied by Ying Dalong, Yasenia was quick to make her way down.
During the Fifth Layer, she felt nothing from the lightning bolts. The bolts from her Immortal Tribulation were stronger than the ones she was facing here.
In the Sixth Layer, Ying Dalong began to feel strained, his pace slowing significantly. Still, he pushed forward with gritted teeth, wanting to impress the beauty.
If Yasenia knew, she would be quite baffled. Given their size difference, did this male dragon want to go cave diving or something? The dragon was basically as big as one of Yasenia's finger claws!
When they arrived at the edge of the Seventh Layer, Ying Dalong spoke. “Lady Yasenia, you need to be careful with the next layer. Here is where most mid-to-high-level Mythical Core dragons train. Anything further is quite violent for us.
Yasenia was curious. “Is that so?”
In the Sixth Layer, Yasenia felt nothing but a small tingling. Honestly, the sensation was mild enough that she would most likely be able to fall asleep right there and then.
Still, she didn’t burst Ying Dalong’s confidence and flew down, Ying Dalong following after her with a determined gaze.
Once there, Yasenia felt the lightning increase by a rather large notch. However, the effects… Yasenia looked at Ying Dalong, and seeing constant scorch marks appearing in his body, she turned her gaze away. “Brother Ying, thank you so much for guiding me until here. I’ll continue by myself from here onward.”
Ying Dalong was confused, and before he could react, Yasenia spread her wings wide before flapping them powerfully and tucking them in like a falcon diving for her prey.
BOOM!
The air exploded in front of Yasenia, her body becoming a blue afterimage as she dove down like a meteor.
Ying Dalong’s eyes almost popped out of their sockets. ‘Heavens! Is she trying to kill herself!?’
Worried, he communicated with the people outside, informing them of Yasenia’s actions.
Soon, the information reached the Ancestors' ears, and the three of them frowned, quickly flying over.
However, as they flew, Tatyana appeared by their side, her red eyes meaningful. “We’ve gone through this once, right? Do we need to repeat the same routine each time Yasenia goes to one of your ancestral lands?”
Ying, Long, and Ji all felt their teeth itching. Still, they knew that Yasenia was not actually harming them. After all, from what Yasenia had said, only those with True Sovereign Authority can reach those levels.
Meanwhile, Yasenia was quickly diving into the void. ‘Thankfully, I perfected my Spiritual Sense before. Otherwise, I wouldn’t dare dive down as I currently am. Imagine the floor suddenly appearing a few meters in front of my nose? I would probably break a few bones from the impact!’
Yasenia quickly arrived at the Eighth Layer, and once here, the lighting began to sting. This deeply surprised her. ‘I have already received the full benefits of the Starlit Molting Pool, and even then, my scales are stinging at the Eighth Layer?’
From what Yasenia knew, there were at least 3 more Layers for her to pass. The Ninth Layer, the Layer where the ancestor lay, and the True Core area. If she was already feeling it in the Eighth Layer…
‘Thankfully, I didn’t choose this place first. Otherwise, I might not have reached the True Core area even after several decades.’
Her golden eyes, which were quite relaxed at first, turned a tad more serious.
Ninth Layer.
The lightning here was, to put it mildly, aggressive. Once Yasenia arrived, she acted as some sort of lightning rod for these bolts, and they all twisted in different directions, all rushing toward her.
RUMBLE!
Yasenia’s muscles twitched as she was attacked, her scales able to defend her but unable to make her immune. ‘Strong. If I came here before, I would’ve most likely found this Layer to be my limit.’
Now, that was not the case. With her body bearing the constant assault of tens of thousands of lightning bolts per second, Yasenia continued diving deeper into the Ninth Layer.
The time it took to reach the end of the Ninth Layer from the Seventh Layer was 3 hours. Which, at Yasenia’s top diving speed, meant tens of millions of kilometers. Once again, Yasenia was quite scared and baffled by the magnitude of these ancestral areas. Forget worlds, the dimensions right now were comparable to Solar Systems of mortal areas.
‘No wonder no one encountered these hidden ancestors. They are all basically living at the depths of no-dragon-land.’
And, a moment later, Yasenia felt a familiar sensation. A dragon claw appeared from nowhere and, in an instant, latched onto her tail, stopping her from advancing.
Yasenia did not hold back. ‘Can’t these old shameless ones not touch my sensitive places when stopping me!?’
She unceremoniously turned around and…
CHOMP! 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
A female voice jumped this time around. “OUCH! Little Girl! Don’t go around biting other people! Don’t you know it hurts?”
Yasenia growled in annoyance. “Release my tail, and I’ll release my bite!”
“Alright, alright. Heavens, juniors are so fierce nowadays.”
Soon, the giant dragon claw released her, and Yasenia also stopped biting whoever this old ancestor was. Looking up, Yasenia extended her Spiritual Sense and was surprised. ‘Another eastern dragon. A yellow and orange one this time around, with deep blue eyes. She is quite beautiful!’
The dragon, who dwarfed Yasenia in size, shook her claw a few times in pain, quite surprised. ‘Her teeth are terrifyingly sturdy. She even managed to make me feel a bit of pain!’
One must remember that these ancestors were at the peak of strength for the current Heavenly Layer. Even Tatyana wouldn’t dare provoke them easily!
The dragon looked at the gorgeous empyrean blue and golden dragon, her blue gaze filled with interest. ‘Such a beautiful little junior. Sigh, if I could communicate with my descendants, I would instantly pair them up with her. How handsome or beautiful would the little younglings be?’
Thankfully, Yasenia didn’t have mind-reading abilities, or she would’ve slapped this senior with her tail!
“Little girl. It’s not that I am reluctant to let you go. However, if you dive down, you will die. Only those who have managed to gain the True Dragon Sovereign aura…”
Yasenia, not wanting to deal with her again, leisurely released her full aura.
Bloodline, constitution, dragon strength, and the True Dragon Sovereign burst outward, pushing away the clouds around them for a second before they filled the empty space again.
The rambling female dragon froze, her pupils thinning into lines with shock. “Heavens… I think you’ve surprised me more during the last five minutes than I’ve been surprised for the last two million years!”
Yasenia’s eyebrow twitched. ‘Two million…’ Even she couldn’t really wrap her head around such a long timeframe.
“So, senior. Can I go down now?”
The female dragon blinked and nodded. “You can, but… Let me go with you. If something happens, I will protect you.” She clarified, like an old pervert trying to lure a child away. “Don’t worry, I am a good person. I promise I will take care of you. Even if something goes wrong, this big sister is going to keep you safe and sound!”
Yasenia spoke with a deadpan. “I’ve heard people say that to my children. All of them are dead now.”
The female dragon laughed. Then, she smiled. “Sorry, little girl. You don’t know how boring it is down here. Alright, rumble here, rumble there. Soon, I’ll start speaking lightningese or something. Sigh, thankfully, there are only three million years more to go before I fulfill my promise to that old bastard.”
Hearing her say that made Yasenia feel quite interested. She asked, curious. “Do you know about the Heavenly Cataclysm? Also, Senior, what is your name?”
“You can call me Young Miss Ji! Also, Heavenly Cataclysm? Never heard of it. Did something strange happen while I was in here?”
Yasenia blinked a few times. “Call you how, Senior?”
“Young Miss Ji!” The dragon said proudly. Then, looking at Yasenia's fresh and beautiful dragon face, she sighed. “Well, even with my thick face, I feel a bit ashamed to be called like that by you. So, let’s go with Big Sister Ji. How about it? I actually forgot my name after sleeping here for so long, but I do know I am surnamed Ji."
Yasenia chuckled. “Alright, Big Sister Ji. Then, should we go down?”
“Let’s go!” Then, she smiled gently. “Also, jokes aside. I will protect you. So, dive down fearlessly and stop wherever you feel it's right. If you dive too deep, tell me, and I will pull you up.”
Yasenia nodded and then recalled the scale. “Oh, by the way, Old Dragon Ao told me to show you this.”
She pulled out the scale, and Big Sister Ji’s eyes widened for a second. “That guy is alive, after all. Tsk, tsk. He was quite a fierce suitor of this Big Sister back then, you know? Sadly for him, I found a better one! Hohoho.”
Yasenia chuckled, shaking her head, Big Sister Ji smiled. “Alright, since you have that scale, it means that you probably got the… how was it called? Star… Starheart Molting Pearl? Was it?”
“Yes. I got it, Senior.”
“Hm?”
“Ahem. I meant. I got it, Big Sister Ji.”
“That’s more like it~.” She smirked and added. “You are quite a greedy little thing, aren’t you? Wanting the treasure here as well? I guess you want to get all four of them!”
Yasenia nodded without any hint of shame! “If I can get them, I will. As long as I can replace them by giving up something, it’s not that big of a deal, right?”
Big Sister Ji shook her head. “Even if you couldn’t, I would give it to you as long as you are qualified. If there are no other materials, this Big Sister would need to sacrifice herself! Sigh, what a tragedy.”
Yasenia saw Big Sister Ji clear a tear away, making her somewhat speechless. “Emotional Blackmail? Already?”
Big Sister Ji laughed, and then, she moved her tail. “Stop delaying and go down.”
Bang!
Yasenia flew down like a meteor, cursing aloud. “Shameless old woman!!!”
Big Sister Ji burst into laughter and also dove down, chasing after Yasenia.
Meanwhile, Yasenia could finally feel the ferocity of the “tenth” layer, and her face twisted in pain. Lightning struck her sturdy body, creating massive charred locations, while her muscles and internal organs burned with electric currents constantly piercing through.
It didn’t even end at her body, as her soul also received the lightning baptism, making her unable to even move or fly. ‘Painful! Why are all these trials so painful? Were the creators masochists?”
Even if she complained, Yasenia was never someone who feared pain! If anything, she welcomed it. So, she just relaxed her body and allowed it to fall down with gravity. After all, with how deep this place was, it would take a very long time to fall with just the help of gravity. That time would most likely be enough to acclimatize herself.
Big Sister Ji followed with a faint smile, constantly watching her and making sure nothing went wrong.
