Heiress' Househusband is a Secret Billionaire-Chapter 352: I Want to Spoil You Too
Chapter 352: I Want to Spoil You Too
The soft hum of the evening drifted outside the window, carrying the echo of the vehicles and pedestrians far below the apartment. The last of the orange sunlight had long dipped below the horizon as night began.
In the warm hush of the bedroom, Lariette and Ruediger lay tangled in each other’s arms, the remnants of passion lingering in the air. The bedsheet was a mess, and so was the floor where clothes were scattered.
Ruediger wrapped one arm loosely around Lariette’s waist, his fingertips brushing the curve of her hip lazily. She nestled closely to him, her cheek resting against his chest, feeling the soft rise and fall of his breath.
The wall clock ticked softly, the needles pointing to a quarter past seven.
Lariette’s half-lidded eyes stared at the mark she left on Ruediger’s chest, right above his beating heart. Her voice was quiet, almost reluctant as she whispered, "You’re leaving tomorrow."
Upon hearing her words, Ruediger’s fingers paused, then resumed their slow trail, "Yeah, my flight’s at ten. I’ll send you to school before going to the airport."
Lariette tilted her chin up, her voice softer, "I’m going to miss you. So so much."
His eyes met hers, green speckled with something akin to sorrow. Lowering his head, he kissed her forehead gently, then lingered a moment longer before pulling her close.
"I’ll miss you too, my love," he said, his voice lower and huskier from the hours they had spent entangled with one another, "So so much."
The pair held each other, bare skin pressed together as they reluctantly acknowledged that time moved without ever stopping.
Exhaling a sigh, Lariette smiled faintly while tapping Ruediger’s chest, "We should clean up. The food’s cold now. We still haven’t watched a movie too."
Ruediger chuckled softly, a thumb brushing Lariette’s cheek, "Alright. I can’t let my darling be hungry."
She rolled her eyes playfully, then pulled him to leave the bed, going to his washroom. Soft yellow lights brightened the room as they stepped in.
As Ruediger turned on the shower, a faint mist lingered in the air, the cubicle filled with the sound of cascading water. He adjusted the temperature until it ran comfortably hot.
While rinsing, Lariette lifted both hands, running them along Ruediger’s shoulders before one palm touching his head. Her fingers brushed through his wet hair.
Witnessing Lariette’s fascination with his hair, Ruediger asked teasingly, "Why, Lettie? I don’t have jewels hanging from my hair, right?"
Lariette chuckled, then playfully slapped Ruediger’s shoulder. She replied, her voice slightly muffled under the falling water.
"I wanna wash your hair, can I?"
Ruediger blinked, never expecting that. His eyes narrowed slightly with a flicker of gentle amusement, "Sure, my dear. I’d be honored."
After rinsing, Lariette and Ruediger moved to the bathtub, water dripping from their figures. The bath was already drawn, the surface steaming gently with a hint of rose.
Without a word, Ruediger stepped in first, the water gently lapping at his waist as he lowered himself slowly. Lariette followed, sitting behind him instead of the front, her slender legs folding along his sides.
He leaned back against her, his broad back pressed to her chest. She laughed, then wrapped her arms loosely around his torso.
"I’ll wash your hair now," Lariette whispered near Ruediger’s ear, her lips brushing his earlobe, "Hehe, time for me to be your personal hairdresser."
Ruediger let out a slow, content sigh, "I won’t say no to you spoiling me, Lettie dear."
"I like to," Lariette murmured, reaching for the shampoo bottle, "You’ve always spoiled me. I wanna do the same."
Squeezing the cool gel into her palm, she rubbed her hands together until bubbles formed. Then, she raised her arms and gently ran her fingers through his damp crimson waves.
She used her fingertips to gently massage his scalp, her nails scratched lightly as she tried to cleanse every area of it. She occasionally teased over his skin.
"Lettie," Ruediger hummed, eyes closed as his shoulders relaxed beneath Lariette’s touch, "What if I fall asleep?"
Lariette smiled, leaning in to press a kiss to the back of Ruediger’s neck. She breathed, "You can’t. We still have dinner and a movie, remember?"
Chuckles echoed in the washroom, coming from Ruediger. He tilted his head back slightly, resting it on Lariette’s shoulder, "You sure you don’t want to just keep me here, en?"
"Hehe, don’t tempt me," she giggled, "Maybe someday. You have a flight tomorrow, and I have work."
He smirked, "I’ll take a rain check then."
Laughing in helplessness, Lariette continued massaging the shampoo through Ruediger’s hair. Her fingers trailed slowly, not just cleaning but caressing.
She shifted closer, then tightened her thighs around his waist, letting the warm water slosh gently around them.
"I hope you can return as soon as possible," Lariette said suddenly, her voice breathed against the curve of Ruediger’s neck, "And they’d pay a high price for messing with you."
"I will. I’ll come home as soon as I can," he replied without hesitation. As his hand found her knee by his side, he held it, "I’ll make sure this is the last time they mess with me."
The pair fell into silence again, only the quiet lapping of water and their breathing resonated in the washroom.
When she was done lathering, Lariette reached out for the sprayer nearby. She adjusted its pressure before gently rinsing Ruediger’s hair. She held the sprayer in one hand while the other running through his hair.
As she repeated the motion, the water streaming down his back and shoulders, leaving glistening trails.
"Lettie, you’re good at this," Ruediger murmured, a grin tugging on his lips.
"Hehe, I’ve had practice," Lariette chuckled, "I did it to Maddie when we went on trips before. Also, Grandma, when I was back for a visit."
Madeline and the late Mrs. Evans were the only ones Lariette washed their hair before. As for her cheating ex, he scoffed at the idea when she tried to spice up their romance.
When Ruediger’s hair was clean, Lariette combed her fingers through it a final time, pushing the damp locks back from his forehead. She pressed a kiss to his neck, then rested her cheek on his shoulder.
"Eddy, let’s stay longer like this," she whispered.
"Then let’s stay," he replied softly, "Just a while more."
Like her, he wished to savor more intimate moments together before they had to part tomorrow.
