Help, I'm in Another World and All the Men Are Are So Dangerous! [BL]-Chapter 173: The Pig and the Mafia Lord
Chapter 173: The Pig and the Mafia Lord
Marcus had been taken to what appeared to be the headquarters of the Royal Guard.
It was a large, imposing building.
To be honest, Georgio absolutely despised this place.
It was the main base of the Royal Guard, the group he loathed the most.
However, if enduring this disgust and suppressing his feelings would benefit his master, then he would grit his teeth and endure it.
Every time his eyes caught sight of the familiar uniforms of those detestable officers, a surge of murderous intent welled up inside him, urging him to attack.
However, he held himself back and resisted the urge with all his might.
And so, Georgio found himself outside what seemed to be the most well-maintained part of the building—a so-called VIP prison cell.
The wall facing the corridor had been removed and replaced with iron bars, allowing anyone passing by to see inside.
However, the interior was surprisingly well-furnished.
There was a proper bed with a blanket, as well as a table and chairs.
Ever since arriving in this place, Georgio had been glued to the outer wall, peering through the only window, silently observing everything inside.
If, by any chance, his master’s father was harmed by those wretched officers, Georgio was to immediately rescue him and return him to the Di Malvento estate.
That was his promise to his master.
That was why he had been keeping such a close watch.
However, as he continued observing, he couldn’t help but think—maybe he hadn’t needed to come here as a bodyguard after all.
"Good morning, Master. For this morning’s drink, I have prepared herbal tea. I hope it is to your liking."
"Ah, it’s quite good today. Maybe it just tastes better in contrast to the awful coffee I had on the first day."
"The coffee in this place is indistinguishable from dog excrement. To think that those lowborn fools would dare to serve such a vile imitation of a drink to someone of your noble status—it must never happen again."
With soft chuckles and elegant laughter, the two of them enjoyed a peaceful morning together.
However, their tranquil moment was soon interrupted by the arrival of a stern-looking officer—today’s assigned interrogator.
His expression twisted as he listened to their conversation, his entire body trembling with barely contained rage.
And then, suddenly, he erupted in anger.
"You there! Do you understand your situation now?! In this place, you are nothing but inferior beings—our livestock! Filthy prisoners, know your place!"
His words and demeanor were a far cry from the image of a noble hero who protected the people.
Georgio felt a surge of irritation and briefly considered whether it would be acceptable to just kill the man.
However, he quickly snapped out of it and forced himself to hold back.
Killing was not an option.
He took a deep breath.
He imagined his cute master’s goofy smile and using it to suppress the murderous intent bubbling inside him.
After exhaling lightly, he cautiously peeked through the window and observing the scene inside.
A man in a military uniform—who, judging by his demeanor, had a thoroughly unpleasant personality—was lounging arrogantly in a chair across from Marcus.
A sneering grin spread across his face as he taunted him.
"How utterly pathetic, Di Malvento! You, who once ruled over lawless pigs, have now been reduced to mere livestock yourself! No doubt your execution day will be even more humiliating!"
The obnoxious, rotund man erupted into raucous laughter, his voice grating on Georgio’s nerves.
How ironic.
He was laughing like the most brainless of farm animals himself.
Did he not realize that? freewebnσvel.cøm
Maybe it was because he was a pig that he lacked the intelligence to recognize it.
In that case, he probably couldn’t help it.
If someone had spoken to Georgio like that, he would have wasted no time in smashing their face in, tearing off their limbs, and making them suffer so much they’d beg for death.
But Marcus Di Malvento was different.
As expected of a man who stood at the pinnacle of the mafia, a little taunting from a pig was nothing more than the buzzing of an insect to him.
He seemed only mildly displeased, but that was the extent of his reaction.
His expression practically said, What an annoying little bug.
"Strasbourg, the morning newspaper."
"Yes, here you are, Master."
Completely ignoring the obnoxious laughter of the pig-like officer, Marcus remained composed and extended a hand toward his attendant, Strasbourg.
Strasbourg responded immediately, producing a newspaper from seemingly nowhere and handing it over.
Georgio had never seen actual magic before, but maybe this was what it looked like.
He had no idea where that newspaper had come from.
Wait a second... Was it even allowed for a prisoner to have a newspaper?
It seemed his suspicion was well-founded.
The pig of a man suddenly jolted, slamming his hands on the table with a loud thud before glaring at the newspaper in outrage.
"Hey, wait just a damn second! Where the hell did you get that newspaper!? Who gave it to you!?"
Ah.
So it wasn’t allowed after all.
The pig-like officer shot up from his chair, reaching out toward Marcus, who was elegantly unfolding the newspaper.
He probably intended to snatch it away.
However, before his hand could get anywhere close, Strasbourg swiftly intercepted him, gripping his arm in a vice-like hold and twisting it tight.
The officer never even had a chance to reach his target.
Georgio had always thought of Strasbourg as calm and easygoing, but... it seemed the man was far stronger than he let on.
Even Georgio had barely been able to follow his movements just now.
"Owwww! What the hell are you doing?! Let go of me, you bastard!"
"To interfere with my master... That is a crime worthy of death. Honestly, these days, pigs are so poorly trained. It’s quite troublesome," Strasbourg mused, his tone almost wistful.
He looked completely at ease, his expression calm as he twisted the officer’s arm.
