Help, I'm in Another World and All the Men Are So Hot! [BL]-Chapter 159: Unwanted Revelations
Arba’a had cried himself to sleep, and Thalatha had, though reluctant, shed tears as well. Damien’s mission was nearly complete.
"Alright, Ithnan, you’re the last one," Damien announced.
"N-no, I... I am fine..." Ithnan stammered, slowly backing away.
"Ithnan, come here," Damien ordered firmly.
"...Yes, sir..." Ithnan sighed, reluctantly stepping forward.
As he stood stiffly before Damien, Ithnan began to speak. "You saved our lives and have shown such kindness to my brothers..."
Damien tilted his head, noticing that Ithnan was taller—about half a head higher than him.
"Ithnan! Bend down!" Damien commanded.
"Yes, sir!" Ithnan crouched just enough for Damien to pull his head into his arms.
"Good, that’s better." Damien hugged him gently. "You’ve worked so hard for your brothers. It’s okay now. You can relax."
As he spoke softly, Damien stroked Ithnan’s head with care.
"You’re the big brother, right? You’ve done so much for them. But they’re safe now, so it’s okay to let go."
Without a sound, tears began streaming down Ithnan’s face. Damien pressed Ithnan’s head against his chest, hoping the sound of his heartbeat might soothe him.
"I’ve heard it helps to hear someone’s heartbeat," Damien mused. Even if they’re egg-born, surely they were once comforted like this.
"Oh, by the way," Damien added, "from now on, you can think of me as your big brother. You’ve worked so hard, Ithnan. It’s okay to lean on me now."
"Ugh... ugh... ahhh..." Ithnan sobbed, his shoulders shaking.
"There, there. You don’t have to be strong when it’s just the two of us, okay?"
"B-Brother...! Brother... ahhhh!"
"Yes, yes, I’m your brother now," Damien replied, chuckling softly.
We’re probably the same age, but who cares about that? Damien thought. Let him cry as much as he needs.
Even as Ithnan wept uncontrollably, Damien noted how he kept his voice low to avoid worrying his younger brothers in the next room.
What a good kid, Damien thought. He deserves to be spoiled.
Damien held Ithnan close, comforting him until he cried himself to sleep.
...
During dinner, Damien’s servants gathered around the table in the lounge.
Although Damien had told Ithnan and his siblings they could rest for the day, they insisted on joining the meal. After obtaining the doctor’s approval—since their recovery had been remarkably fast—they were allowed to attend. The doctor had advised one more day of rest before resuming normal activities, though vigorous physical exertion was still restricted.
The servants sat together on one side of the table. Damien was slightly concerned about the interaction between Zima—who was meeting Ithnan for the first time—and the others, but both exchanged polite smiles and seemed to be getting along well.
Across from them, Damien sat alongside Theo and Sebas, who stood just behind Theo. Typically, Theo would sit at the head of the table, but for this occasion, he joined Damien at his side for introductions. Leonide sat next to Damien, with the other three vassals assisting as servers.
With Theo and Sebas present, the household now comprised ten people—a considerable number for Damien.
"Now, let me formally introduce everyone to Theo," Damien began.
Zima rose gracefully and offered a refined bow toward Theo. While it wasn’t quite the same as the formal gestures of Leonide or Sebas, it carried a certain elegance.
"And these are my other servants," Damien continued. "Ithnan, Thalatha, Arba’a, Sitta, and Tis’a—members of the Yashcherolyud tribe. As you can see, they’re Dragonewts."
Before the gathering, Sebas had explained to Damien the significance of the term Dragonewt. While humans often used the term "Lizardmen" as a derogatory reference, the Dragonewts called themselves "dragon kin," a title of pride.
At Damien’s words, the siblings stood in unison and offered a sharp, unified bow. Their posture lacked refined manners but was crisp and respectful.
"And finally," Damien concluded, "this is Theo Caelum Rhys Dalehaven, the lord of this manor and... Also my partner."
Damien felt his face heat up as he introduced Theo as his partner.
Theo stood up and addressed the room. "I am Theo Caelum Rhys Dalehaven, Damien’s partner and the master of this estate. Standing behind me is Sebas, the steward of this household."
Damien translated Theo’s words for the Dragonewts, ensuring everyone understood.
"By the way," Damien added, "while Sebas officially serves Theo, during your training period, he’ll act as your supervisor. Please keep that in mind."
"Yes! We’ll do our best!" the servants replied in unison.
Sebas returned their enthusiasm with a polite nod.
It seemed the introductions had gone smoothly, but then Theo unexpectedly spoke up again.
"There’s one more important thing to clarify," Theo said.
Damien blinked his eyes, confused. What could Theo possibly mean? 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
"Everyone in this room, except for Sebas is Damien’s lovers."
Theo!? What are you saying!?
Damien froze, horrified, as Leonide and the others nodded their heads in agreement, completely unbothered by Theo’s sudden declaration. Zima glanced around nervously, clearly thrown off by this revelation.
"Now, now, Damien," Theo said calmly. "The Dragonewts look confused—translate for them, won’t you?"
Damien swallowed his saliva hard. He couldn’t lie to the Dragonewts; Theo and the others would know immediately. Reluctantly, he translated Theo’s words, causing the Dragonewts to glance around with wide eyes, now just as bewildered as Zima.
Meanwhile, Leonide and Lysander looked smug, Lucian kept a neutral expression, and Lorenzo appeared bashful.
Theo wasn’t done. "And if any of you wish to pursue a similar relationship with Damien, feel free. However, attempting to monopolize him is strictly forbidden."
Theo!! Why are you like this!?
Zima’s face immediately turned bright red and looked down at the floor.
"Damien, translate it to them!"
"Wait! That’s too much right now. There are kids here!" he protested, thinking of the younger ones in the room. This wasn’t appropriate for their education.
"If they don’t understand now, it’s fine," Theo replied. "They’ll witness it soon enough, so it’s better not to hide it unnecessarily."
Damien’s face burned. While Theo wasn’t wrong—hiding things would indeed be difficult, considering the daily interactions—he couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. Though he tried to be careful, there were already too many close calls.
