Help! the four Alpha's are obsessed with me.-Chapter 193 Still not found
LANCASTER RESIDENCE
The phone sat at the center of the glass table, its insistent buzzing vibrating against the surface. It didn’t stop until someone emerged from a nearby room, their steady footsteps echoing before they finally reached out to claim the device.
Daniel looked at the caller ID and let out a heavy sigh. He hoped for good news this time; he was so close to giving up, yet he knew that wasn’t truly an option.
"Good morning, Daniel. How are you doing?" Norman asked from the other end.
Daniel hesitated, torn between pouring out his mounting frustration or keeping it locked inside. Silence stretched between them as he momentarily forgot he was even on a call.
"Daniel? What is wrong? I’ve heard you sigh nearly a hundred times—are they giving you trouble?" Norman questioned, trying to coax him into speaking.
"Norman, that’s not the issue. Just tell me if you have found him," Daniel replied, his voice strained. "Michael should be around New York City or that disgusting countryside. Why haven’t you seen anything yet?"
He wanted to scream. He was livid that despite their search, Michael remained a ghost. He knew Norman and his associates had the resources; if anyone could find him, it was them. So why were they failing?
"Daniel, calm down. We will find him, I promise you that, and I shall fulfill it with my whole heart," Norman stated firmly. He paused before continuing, "But staying in that house isn’t safe. Let’s be frank—after what you did, you’ve made many enemies. And didn’t you leave your babies with Alexander? Can they really stay away from their mom for this long?"
Daniel tightened his grip on the phone. He hated that Norman was right. It was morning already, and he should have been with his children, yet here he was, still lingering in the Lancaster house.
After yesterday’s events, the family had finally learned he wasn’t a man to be trifled with. Not only had he stripped the "Oldie" of her duties, but he had seized the properties and the company.
Everything the Lancasters owned was now firmly in his grasp. His next move was to throw them out, but he wasn’t ready for that mercy yet. He wanted to watch them work like servants in his home—the same way they had treated him years ago.
No one was exempt. Angelo was his latest victim, destined for punishment alongside the sister who had discarded him. Their suffering would be doubled. As for his parents, they would never leave that prison; he would rather let them rot like the rats they were than let them roam free. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"Good luck on the revenge you’re embarking on," Norman advised. "Only a sound mind can pull this off."
Daniel waved the comment off dismissively. "Oh, Norman, I figured out your secret identity—that you and your friend are killers. If I can uncover that, why wouldn’t I be able to handle a little revenge?"
The line went silent. Norman knew what Daniel was capable of; underestimating him was pure idiocy, and Norman wasn’t a stupid man.
"Okay, Daniel. As you wish. What should I do next? Where else should we search?"
Daniel began to think. Before falling asleep last night, he had agonized over the same question: If Michael were to hide, where would he go? He knew Michael wasn’t dead; he refused to believe his story ended there. He wanted to change Michael’s fate, but to help, he had to find him first.
Why did Michael have to be so stubborn? Why did he leave when he promised he would return?
Did Michael think Daniel was in this alone? Michael’s pain was his own, and he missed that sweet, angelic man so much it felt like a slow death. He had to find him—not just to scold him or smack his head for leaving, but to make him part of the family. Michael hadn’t even seen the babies he had helped protect. It wasn’t fair.
"Norman, search that countryside again," Daniel commanded. "The place where I stayed with him—his hometown. When you’re there, let me know; I’ll send a list of addresses. My intuition tells me he’s there, and my intuition is never wrong."
"Be careful, Daniel," Norman gave a final warning. "Never put yourself in a dangerous position, and no matter what happens, never go anywhere alone."
The call ended.
Daniel stood there in his silk pajamas and fluffy slippers. As he turned to freshen up before heading to the dining room, he found his husbands in the adjacent room, tidying up and talking in hushed tones.
"I don’t think leaving him here is appropriate," Draven was saying. "At least one of us should go and see if Alexander is okay—"
Xylander was about to argue when a light cough from the doorway stopped them both.
"Stop sneaking around with conversations as if I’m not here," Daniel said, leaning against the frame. "And stop worrying about the babies. We are going to visit them and bring them here. We stay together—danger or not—as long as we are one, no one can harm us."
The two men stood upright, looking at him with unshielded adoration. Xylander dropped the clothes he was holding and crossed the room, his hands finding Daniel’s slender waist.
"I’ve been craving you, Daniel," Xylander murmured, his tone unhinged and hungry. "It’s been so long since I’ve had my fill of you. I’m starving."
Daniel felt his cheeks flush a deep pink. "You naughty boy. Is that why you didn’t let me sleep? I told you I was tired yesterday, but..." He looked Xylander straight in the eyes, a playful spark returning. "I promise you both, today you shall have your fill of me. That includes Alexander as well. You don’t know how much I’ve missed this."
Draven stood frozen for a moment, a sheepish smile spreading across his face. They all missed him—his touch, those stunning emerald eyes, and his vibrant purple hair. Though he had changed the color, they accepted it wholeheartedly. He was their Daniel, and nothing would ever change their feelings.
"But the house..." Draven asked, seeking clarification. "You have it under your control now. Isn’t that what you wanted? Are you going to run it, or leave it behind?"
"The house and the companies are mine, yes," Daniel replied. "But material things aren’t the purpose of this revenge. Once I have my satisfaction, someone else can have the properties. I am here for justice, not for greed—especially when I have three men who can buy the world for me."
Draven felt a surge of pride and joy. Daniel wasn’t lost to the darkness; he was simply correcting an injustice.
"I love you so much, Daniel," Draven confessed, stepping closer to take Daniel’s lips in a firm kiss.
Xylander smirked, moving his attention to Daniel’s neck. He trailed his tongue along the sensitive skin of his nape, a dangerous tease that ignited the darkest, most desperate needs within Daniel.
