Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 393: Big Sister Used as Blueprint
The giant metal claw came down without slowing.
It filled Mersha’s entire view.
She didn’t dodge.
She didn’t brace.
She smiled and took it head-on.
A loud explosion tore through the arena as claw and body collided, shock waves blasting outward and throwing dust and broken stone into the air.
The ground cracked under the force, and several disciples raised their arms on instinct. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
For a moment, nothing could be seen.
Silvar’s growl faded, replaced by silence.
But his expression didn’t relax.
"...No," he muttered. "That didn’t land."
The dust began to clear.
And everyone finally saw why.
The giant metal claw was stopped.
Not deflected. Not shattered.
It was held.
Mersha stood there, feet planted firmly on the broken floor, one clawed hand gripping Silvar’s massive claw.
But what stunned everyone wasn’t the claw.
It was her.
She was no longer human.
Wings stretched from her back, scales faintly shimmering under the light.
Curved horns rose from her head, a tail swaying slowly behind her.
Her arms had turned into sharp, draconic claws.
A humanoid Sky Dragon stood in the arena.
Dahlia’s eyes widened. "...Don’t tell me."
She turned slowly toward Mersha. "You based that potion on me."
Mersha grinned, teeth sharp now. "Bingo, big sister."
She flexed her wings once, enjoying the feeling. "Your Sky Dragon form is amazing. I just... improved the delivery method."
Garion pinched the bridge of his nose. "...Of course you did."
Mersha looked back at Silvar, who was staring at her in disbelief.
"Alright," she said cheerfully. "Let’s see how a real Sky Dragon hits."
She swung her arm.
Silvar’s massive body was lifted clean off the ground and thrown upward like it weighed nothing.
"What..." was all he managed to say.
Mersha launched herself into the air after him, wind and lightning gathering around her as she accelerated.
[Dragon Rush]
The same skill Dahlia had used before.
The sky shook as Mersha caught up to Silvar, flipped her body midair, and drove both feet straight into his chest from above.
The impact slammed him down into the arena.
The ground caved in.
Stone shattered.
And then it wasn’t over.
The wind and lightning that wrapped around Mersha didn’t fade as they followed through.
A second explosion erupted inside Silvar’s body.
His roar cut off instantly
When the dust settled, Silvar lay motionless in a deep crater, unconscious.
Silence swallowed the arena.
Cindor hovered in the air, blinking once. "...Wow."
Valtor slowly lowered his jaw. "She copied a dragon."
Dahlia stared at Mersha, then laughed weakly. "...I’m never teasing her again."
Mersha landed lightly on the cracked arena floor.
For half a second, she stood there, wings still fading, lightning still sparking around her.
Then she reached into her robe again.
Everyone tensed.
She pulled out four green bottles at once and drank them without even stopping to breathe.
Glug. Glug. Glug. Glug.
And then...
She collapsed.
Her body hit the ground with a dull sound, completely motionless.
The dragon scales faded, the horns shrank away, and her wings vanished as if they had never been there.
"Mersha!" Dahlia shouted.
Arden’s face went pale. "That potion was insane... the side effects must be just as bad."
Before anyone could move, Garion stepped forward.
His power surged quietly, invisible but absolute, and Mersha’s body was pulled smoothly through the air into his arms.
"She’s alive," Garion said calmly. "Just drained."
He glanced at the crater where Silvar lay unconscious. "He has a strong body. He’ll recover."
Then he looked down at the small girl in his arms.
"She doesn’t," he added. "She relies on potions."
Dahlia, Arden, Clara, and the others rushed over, crowding around Garion.
Dahlia clenched her fists. "What the hell were you thinking?!"
Mersha’s eyelids fluttered.
"...Hm?" she muttered.
She slowly opened her eyes, looking confused. "What happened? Did I win?"
Clara nearly screamed. "You collapsed!"
Mersha blinked once, then smiled weakly. "Oh. That."
She shifted slightly, still clearly out of energy. "Don’t worry. That was expected."
Everyone froze.
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Explain."
Mersha nodded, still smiling. "The first four potions were just raw power boosters."
She lifted a finger lazily. "The azure one was the [Sky Dragon Transformation Elixir]."
Dahlia’s eye twitched. "You named it already?"
"Of course," Mersha replied. "Anyway, it lets me turn into a Sky Dragon and massively boosts my power."
She paused. "The downside is that it puts a huge burden on my body."
Arden swallowed. "So... you knew this would happen?"
Mersha nodded. "Even with my unique physique reducing the backlash, it’s still heavy."
She glanced at the empty green bottles. "That’s why I drank four healing potions right away. To cancel out the worst effects."
Dahlia stared at her. "...And after all that."
Mersha smiled sweetly. "I just need about one minute to recover."
Silence fell.
Then...
"You’re insane!" Dahlia shouted.
Valtor ran a hand through his hair. "That’s not a plan. That’s suicide with math."
Clara laughed nervously. "I officially quit calling her ’junior sister.’"
Garion sighed deeply, then shook his head.
"...What a crazy girl."
But the corner of his lips lifted despite himself.
Mersha laughed weakly, still lying on the ground. "Of course, Master. I am your disciple, after all."
She raised a finger lazily. "And just like I said..."
Barely a minute passed.
Color returned to her face.
The exhaustion drained away as if it had never existed.
Mersha pushed herself up, stretched her arms, and then hopped to her feet.
"Okay," she said cheerfully. "All good now."
Dahlia stared at her. "You’re... fine?"
Mersha nodded. "Perfectly fine."
Eldrin’s eyes widened. "That recovery speed..."
Rachel pressed a hand to her chest. "Even my healing doesn’t work that fast."
Mersha tilted her head proudly. "Potions are efficient."
She then reached into her robe again and pulled out a large green bottle, much bigger than the earlier ones.
She pointed toward the unconscious White Tiger. "Give this to the little cat."
Garion glanced at the bottle. "He’ll recover?"
Mersha nodded. "Very fast."
Then she smiled.
"But the taste..."
Cindor stiffened immediately. "No."
She looked at Mersha with genuine fear. "I fought dragons, demons, and gods."
She swallowed. "But her potions..."
Dahlia laughed out loud. "Yeah. That’s fair."
Garion exhaled slowly, amused and exasperated at the same time.
