Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 400: Stop Casually Rewriting History
Raviel and the others listened without interrupting as Garion and Eldrin finished telling the full story.
When it was over, the room stayed quiet.
No one spoke for a long time.
Rendric was the first to move. He took off his glasses, wiped them slowly, then put them back on.
"...Let me get this straight," he said carefully.
"The Demon Gate. The source of demonic invasions. The reason Demon Gate Island was feared for generations..."
He looked at Garion.
"You destroyed it."
Garion shrugged. "Yeah."
Aveline stared at him. "Just like that?"
Cindor laughed. "Not ’just like that.’ It was chaotic."
Raviel leaned back heavily in his chair.
"So the island that every cultivator avoided... the island people called cursed..."
He exhaled slowly.
"And you solved it in a little over a year."
Garion scratched his cheek. "When you say it like that, it sounds dramatic."
"It is dramatic," Rendric said immediately.
Arvella nodded. "The Demon Gate was a long-standing problem. Even top factions never dared to touch it."
Eldrin spoke gently. "We guarded it for centuries. We believed no one could truly end it."
She looked at Garion with calm eyes.
"Until him." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Raviel turned toward the five former Legendary Beasts.
"And you... you chose to be reborn as humans because of him?"
Cindor grinned. "Partly."
Silvar spoke bluntly. "He beat us."
Bastor added, "Fairly."
Varyn tilted her head slightly. "His cultivation path is... efficient."
Eldrin smiled softly. "We believed in his path. So we chose to walk it."
Raviel rubbed his face slowly.
"So let me understand this properly."
He pointed one finger at Garion.
"You destroyed the Demon Gate."
Then at the five.
"You defeated and recruited the Legendary Beasts."
Then back at Garion.
"And that achievement was what caught the attention of the Grand Factions."
Garion nodded. "Yeah. That was basically the main reason."
Rendric let out a short breath.
"...Too much."
Arvella gave a small laugh. "This is too much for one person."
Aveline finally spoke again, voice calm but firm.
"You didn’t just grow a sect."
She looked directly at Garion.
"You changed the balance of the world."
Garion waved a hand dismissively. "Relax. I just solved a problem that was there."
Raviel stared at him.
"That problem shaped politics for decades."
Garion blinked. "...Oh."
Silvar muttered, "He really doesn’t think much about impact."
Cindor laughed. "That’s the fun part."
Raviel stood up slowly and walked a few steps, trying to calm himself.
"To think," he said quietly, "that Demon Gate Island... the place people warned their children about..."
He turned back.
"Was cleared by you."
Rendric added, "And because of that, you were recognized as a Grand Faction prospect."
Garion nodded again. "Sorien tested me. I passed."
Aveline closed her eyes briefly, then opened them.
"And now... we are officially under a Grand Faction."
Raviel looked at Garion.
"No wonder you said you had a ’project.’"
Garion’s lips curved slightly.
"Yeah."
Rendric leaned back in his chair.
"This is... a lot."
Arvella nodded. "But it explains everything."
Eldrin spoke softly, "We did not choose lightly. We chose because we believed."
Raviel looked at Garion one more time.
"...You really are something else."
Garion shrugged again.
"I just train."
Silvar scoffed. "Understatement."
Cindor grinned. "Huge understatement."
The room slowly settled, but the shock still lingered in the air.
Raviel exhaled and leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table.
"Alright," he said. "Now that we know everything... what do you want to do next?"
Garion crossed his arms and smiled slightly.
"First," he said, "Demon Gate Island is no longer going to be called that."
Rendric blinked. "Oh?"
Garion nodded. "I’m changing it. It’ll become the main base of God Gym."
Aveline tilted her head. "You mean fully rebuild it?"
"Not just rebuild," Garion said calmly. "Transform it."
Silence fell again.
Raviel narrowed his eyes. "Transform... how?"
Garion shrugged. "You’ll see."
Then he continued, "And for a proper base, I need structure. A sect isn’t just disciples. It needs elders."
Aveline and the others exchanged looks.
Rachel folded her arms. "You want us to take those roles?"
Garion nodded. "Yeah."
Before Raviel could respond, Eldrin shook her head gently.
"We won’t become elders."
Everyone turned toward her.
Silvar crossed his arms. "Titles are unnecessary."
Bastor added in a short tone, "We guard."
Varyn spoke softly, "We prefer action over administration."
Cindor grinned. "Paperwork is boring."
Garion looked at them for a second, then nodded. "Fine. Then you five will be Guardians."
Silvar gave a small nod. "Better."
Garion turned back to the others.
"Raviel. Rachel. Aveline. Rendric. Arvella. You’ll become elders of God Gym."
Rendric adjusted his glasses. "So what exactly will we be responsible for?"
Garion waved a hand lazily. "Details later."
Raviel stared at him. "You’re making us elders and you don’t have the details?"
Garion smirked. "I do. I just don’t feel like explaining it all right now."
Aveline gave him a look. "You haven’t changed."
Garion chuckled. "For now, just handle the three God Islands properly. Keep things stable while I finish the project on the main island."
Raviel nodded slowly. "So we wait."
"Yeah," Garion said. "Wait until Demon Gate Island becomes something else."
Rendric frowned slightly. "And when that’s done?"
Garion’s eyes sharpened.
"Then God Gym truly begins."
The atmosphere shifted slightly at his tone.
Raviel cleared his throat. "By the way... I have a few other people who could qualify as elders."
Garion raised a brow. "Oh?"
"They’re loyal," Raviel said. "Strong. Capable. If we’re becoming a proper structure, they can join as God Clans under you."
Garion nodded once. "Alright. Let’s meet them."
Aveline stood smoothly. "I’ll escort you."
She glanced at Garion. "Try not to shock them too much."
"No promises," Garion replied.
Raviel suddenly looked at Rachel and smiled faintly. "Sister... it’s been a while since we actually had time to talk properly."
Rachel’s expression softened. "Yeah. It has."
Rendric clapped his hands lightly once. "Arvella, shall we?"
Arvella nodded. "Of course."
She turned toward Eldrin and the other Guardians. "If you don’t mind, we’ll show you around the islands."
Cindor grinned. "Tour already? I like this place."
Silvar glanced around calmly. "Let’s see how strong this island is."
Bastor nodded once. "Observe first."
Varyn smiled softly. "I’d like to understand the flow of this land."
Eldrin bowed her head slightly. "Thank you for receiving us."
Rendric gave a polite nod. "You’re part of this now."
