Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 410: Those Who Refuse May Leave
Rachel stepped forward slowly.
The younger fighters stepped aside without being told.
Rachel smiled gently as she looked at the elders standing across from her.
"So," she said softly, "you still wish to continue?"
One Vulkran elder stepped forward, jaw tight.
"We cannot accept this result so easily."
A Shivera elder added coldly, "The younger generation’s failure does not represent the whole clan."
Rachel nodded once.
"That is fair."
She lifted her hand slowly.
A warm golden glow began to gather around her palm.
Several elders stiffened.
"What is that?"
Rachel’s voice remained calm.
"[Love Energy]."
The light spread gently from her palm and began coating her arms, shoulders, and chest.
She looked at the elders kindly.
"Now let me see how strong you all are."
A Vulkran elder snorted.
"Don’t underestimate us!"
He slammed his foot forward and activated [Flame Burst].
Fire surged toward her.
Rachel did not move.
The flames touched the golden glow... and slowed.
The fire flickered, then bent slightly away from her body.
The Vulkran elder’s eyes widened.
"What?"
Rachel tilted her head slightly.
"You are forcing it too much."
She stepped forward again.
The golden light thickened around her form.
A Shivera elder raised his hand.
"[Ice Lance]!"
Sharp spears of ice shot toward her from three angles.
Rachel exhaled softly.
The golden glow expanded.
The ice spears struck and shattered on contact.
The elders stared.
"She didn’t even block!"
Rachel smiled gently.
"I am blocking."
She tapped her chest lightly.
"You simply cannot see it clearly."
Another Vulkran elder rushed forward, fist blazing.
"[Flame Punch]!"
Rachel lifted one hand calmly.
She didn’t strike back.
She simply placed her palm against his burning fist.
The golden glow pulsed.
The flame died down instantly.
The elder froze.
His punch stopped mid-motion.
Rachel looked at him kindly.
"Strength without balance burns out quickly."
She gently pushed forward.
The elder stumbled backward three steps.
He wasn’t injured.
But his arm trembled.
A Shivera elder tried to flank her from behind.
Rachel turned slightly, and without even looking fully...
Her golden glow flared softly.
The Shivera elder felt a heavy pressure on his shoulders and dropped to one knee.
"What is this... weight..."
Rachel’s expression didn’t change.
"It’s not weight."
Her voice stayed warm.
"It’s restraint."
She looked at the group of elders.
"If you truly wish to fight..."
The golden aura brightened further, now fully coating her body in steady radiance.
"Then come together."
The Vulkran and Shivera elders exchanged quick looks.
A Vulkran elder growled, "All at once."
A Shivera elder nodded sharply. "No hesitation."
They rushed forward together.
Heat rose from the Vulkran side.
Cold surged from the Shivera side.
"[Flame Punch]!"
"[Ice Lance]!"
The attacks came from multiple angles.
Rachel did not retreat.
She stepped forward instead.
Her golden aura pulsed.
The first Vulkran elder’s flaming fist struck her shoulder.
The fire bent around the glow and died down like it hit water.
He blinked.
"What!"
Rachel gently placed her palm against his chest.
She didn’t strike hard.
She pushed.
The golden light surged.
He was lifted off his feet and sent sliding backward across the ground.
Not injured.
Just completely overpowered.
Another elder rushed in from her left, swinging low.
Rachel turned smoothly.
Her golden aura shifted with her movement.
She raised her arm and caught the incoming strike.
The impact echoed.
The elder’s arm trembled.
Rachel smiled kindly.
"You’re rushing."
She twisted her wrist slightly.
The elder lost balance and dropped to one knee.
From behind her...
Three ice spears shot forward.
"[Ice Lance]!"
Rachel closed her eyes for a brief second.
"[Love Energy]."
The aura expanded outward in a soft pulse.
The ice spears shattered before touching her back.
The Shivera elder who launched them stepped back in shock.
"That’s not normal defense..."
Rachel opened her eyes again.
"There is nothing aggressive about this," she said softly.
Another Vulkran elder roared and activated [Flame Burst], trying to overwhelm her with sheer heat.
The flames surrounded her.
For a moment, her figure disappeared inside fire.
Gasps spread across both clans.
Then...
Rachel walked out of the fire calmly.
Her golden aura remained untouched.
"You are forcing your power," she said gently.
She stepped forward again.
One by one, the elders tried.
Each time... Rachel responded calmly, and finally she looked at them one by one.
"Are we finished?"
No one answered.
---
For a long moment, no one spoke.
Vargan stood there, staring at the arena.
Every elder he had trusted... was either kneeling or sitting on the ground, breathing hard.
Sarona’s eyes remained steady, but even she did not move.
"They lost..." one Vulkran warrior whispered.
"All of them," a Shivera disciple added quietly.
Vargan slowly ran a hand over his face.
"...Unbelievable."
Sarona spoke softly, almost to herself.
"She did not even strike seriously."
Rachel had already stepped back beside Raviel and Aveline. Her golden glow faded completely.
Raviel looked at Vargan and Sarona.
He didn’t smile arrogantly.
He simply asked,
"So?"
Vargan looked at him for a few seconds.
Then he let out a long breath.
Sarona met his eyes.
They both nodded.
Vargan stepped forward first and raised his voice.
"Listen!"
The remaining Vulkran members turned toward him.
Sarona also stepped forward on her side.
"This is clear," she said calmly.
Vargan shouted loudly,
"We have lost!"
The words echoed across the plain.
Some warriors lowered their heads immediately.
Some clenched their fists.
Sarona continued,
"There will be no further challenges."
Vargan lifted his chin.
"From this moment on, Vulkran will join God Gym as vassals."
Sarona added without hesitation,
"Shivera as well."
Murmurs spread quickly.
An elder who had just stood up shouted,
"Patriarch! You cannot decide this so easily!"
Another snapped,
"We still have our pride!"
Vargan turned sharply.
"You just fought."
His voice was no longer playful.
"You lost."
The elder clenched his jaw.
Sarona’s voice cut in calmly.
"If anyone does not wish to join..."
She paused.
"...you are free to leave."
Silence.
Vargan nodded once.
"No one is forced."
He pointed toward the horizon.
"Those who refuse can stay. Keep the land. Use a new name."
Sarona’s tone remained steady.
"But do not speak in our name."
The arena grew very quiet.
One by one...
Elders stepped back.
Some shook their heads.
Some looked frustrated.
"We will not kneel," one muttered.
"Then don’t," Vargan replied flatly.
Several older members walked away.
In the end...
Only two elders from Vulkran remained standing near Vargan.
Two from Shivera stood behind Sarona.
Behind them, young warriors looked uncertain.
Then one young Vulkran stepped forward.
"...I will follow."
Another joined him.
Then another.
On the Shivera side, a young woman lowered her head.
"I choose to move forward."
Slowly, groups formed.
When everything settled...
About one hundred young members stood behind Vargan and Sarona.
