Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 417: Senior Sister Smiling Is Dangerous
Clara’s eyes gleamed with mischief. "Eliza confirmed there’s a member of the Draconia Clan there."
The moment Dahlia heard that name, she stopped moving.
One of the recruits in front of her was mid-punch, but she didn’t even look at him.
"Hold," she said calmly.
The recruit froze instantly.
Dahlia slowly turned her head toward Clara. Her expression did not explode with anger. Instead, her lips curved into a small smirk.
"I see."
She reached up and stretched her neck from side to side. A faint crack sounded as her muscles loosened.
"So," she continued casually, "this is the one leading the pirates?"
Clara nodded. "Looks like it. Eliza tracked their movements for two weeks. She heard the name ’Draconia’ from the pirates."
Dahlia’s eyes sharpened slightly. She walked past Clara toward the open doors of the gym.
"For them to send someone personally..." she muttered. "That’s bold."
Clara stepped beside her and leaned against the doorframe. "Or desperate."
Dahlia let out a small chuckle. "Desperate suits them."
She rolled her shoulders once, her dragon aura flickering faintly around her for a second before she suppressed it.
Clara tilted her head. "So what do you want to do?"
Dahlia turned back, crossing her arms. "Wait for me to prepare."
Her smirk widened slightly. "This will be a fun journey."
Behind them, one of the recruits whispered nervously, "Senior Sister looks scary when she smiles like that..."
Dahlia glanced back at them.
"You three," she said firmly. "Double your sets. If I come back and you’re still weak, I’ll personally train you."
The recruits straightened immediately. "Yes, Senior Sister!"
Clara grinned. "Thought you’d say that."
She pushed herself off the frame and stood properly. "I’ll go inform Eliza. We’ll prepare."
Dahlia raised a brow. "Only the three of us?"
Clara blinked like the answer was obvious. "Of course."
She pointed lightly at Dahlia’s shoulder.
"The fewer people we bring, the more we can actually fight. If we take a squad, they’ll just watch."
Her grin widened again.
"You don’t think we’ll lose, right?"
Dahlia laughed once. It wasn’t loud, but it carried confidence.
"Lose?"
She cracked her knuckles slowly, one hand at a time. "If it’s really someone from Draconia..."
Her eyes narrowed slightly, not in anger, but in focus. "Then I’ll handle it."
She then looked at Clara. "Tell Eliza to prepare scouting routes. No direct charge until I say so."
Clara gave a mock salute. "Yes, Senior Sister."
Dahlia stepped forward toward the exit. "Let’s go, then."
---
Rachel was standing beside a large table covered in scrolls and island maps.
Arvella stood across from her, pointing at several marked routes near the outer sea.
"We’ll need to rotate patrol shifts here," Arvella said calmly. "Traffic from the western trade lane has increased."
Rachel nodded gently. "Then assign two more squads from the morning batch. Make sure they rest properly afterward."
Arvella adjusted the scroll slightly. "Understood. I’ll also tighten inspection near the docks."
Before Rachel could respond, the door opened.
Dahlia walked in without hesitation. Her steps were steady, and her expression carried a faint smile.
Rachel looked up immediately. "What’s the problem, Dahlia?"
Dahlia placed one hand on her hip. "Elder Rachel, I wanted to ask for permission."
Rachel blinked once. "Permission?"
She tilted her head slightly. "It’s not like you to suddenly ask for permission."
Arvella glanced between them but stayed silent.
Dahlia gave a small shrug. "It’s not serious. I just want to attack a pirate base."
Rachel’s brows lifted slightly.
Dahlia continued calmly, "From what I know, there’s someone from Draconia there."
The room grew a little quieter.
Rachel looked at Dahlia carefully. "I see."
She folded her hands in front of her. "No wonder you asked."
Dahlia’s smile widened a little.
"So," Rachel said softly, "you want to destroy the pirate base and, at the same time, enjoy destroying someone from Draconia?"
Dahlia didn’t deny it. "You could say that."
Arvella let out a quiet breath but didn’t interrupt.
Rachel studied Dahlia for a few seconds and then smiled.
"Who are you taking with you?" Rachel asked.
"Clara and Eliza," Dahlia replied. "Small team."
Rachel nodded slowly. "Discreet?"
Dahlia nodded once.
Rachel smiled gently. "Alright. You may go."
Dahlia blinked in surprise. "Wow. You’re allowing me?"
Rachel’s smile deepened slightly. "Of course."
She walked closer and placed a hand lightly on Dahlia’s shoulder.
"They are pirates. They should be destroyed whether they are from Draconia or not."
Her tone remained warm, but her eyes sharpened slightly. "And if Draconia dares to escalate..."
Arvella’s gaze turned steady as well.
Rachel’s voice became clearer. "God Gym is more than ready."
Dahlia felt a faint pulse of golden warmth as Rachel activated [Radiant Love] briefly.
"Remember what Garion said," Rachel continued calmly. "If anyone dares to provoke us..."
She gave Dahlia a firm look. "He will always support us in striking back."
Dahlia’s smirk returned. "Then I’ll make sure it’s worth supporting."
Rachel chuckled softly.
"Be careful," she added. "Not because you are weak. But because you are important."
Dahlia nodded once. "I’ll be back soon."
She turned and walked out of the room.
Arvella looked at Rachel quietly after the door closed.
"You’re not worried?" she asked.
Rachel’s smile softened again. "I am."
She turned her eyes back to the map spread across the table. Her fingers rested lightly near the marked pirate routes.
"But I am more worried about the ones on the other side," she continued gently, "because Dahlia has become very strong."
Arvella raised a brow slightly. "That confident?"
Rachel gave a small nod.
"You’ve seen her training lately," she said. "Even without fully releasing her dragon power, she’s overwhelming."
"I wonder," Rachel added softly, "if they can even survive being her punching bag."
Arvella stared at her for a moment.
Then she chuckled.
"That poor Draconia member," she said calmly. "He probably thinks he’s hunting."
Rachel’s lips curved slightly. "He doesn’t know he’s the one being hunted."
Arvella let out a quiet sigh and began rolling up one of the scrolls.
"Should we prepare reinforcement just in case?" she asked.
Rachel shook her head gently. "Not yet."
She folded the map carefully. "If Dahlia needs help, she’ll say so."
There was no doubt in her voice.
