Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 451: The War Dance Transformation
"Transformation sequence start!"
A sharp chime echoed through the forge. Then music exploded into the room.
Valtor jumped slightly in shock. "What the hell?!"
He looked around the room in confusion. "Why is there music?!"
He pointed at the twins. "Isn’t that belt supposed to be a weapon?!"
Rynor laughed while the music continued. "It is!"
Rynar added calmly. "But it’s also cool."
Valtor stared at them. "...Cool?"
Garion chuckled quietly from the wall. "Let them finish."
The twins suddenly moved at the same time.
Their feet stomped against the metal floor.
Their arms swung outward.
They spun once in opposite directions and stepped forward again.
Valtor blinked repeatedly. "...Are you two dancing?"
Rynor shouted over the music. "Part of the sequence!"
Both of them slammed their palms onto their own belts once again.
The twins spun toward each other and crossed their fists in the air.
"Transform!"
Light burst from the belts.
Black base suits wrapped around their bodies instantly.
Then armor plates began forming piece by piece.
Flame-patterned armor covered Rynar’s arms and shoulders, glowing red.
Lightning-shaped armor formed across Rynor’s legs and spine, sparks crawling over the metal.
The twins jumped. Twisted in the air. Then landed back-to-back.
The music reached its peak. Flames roared behind Rynar. Lightning exploded behind Rynor.
Then the light snapped inward. The music slowly faded. The twins stood there in full armor.
Rynar clenched his fists as small flames flickered along his gauntlets.
Rynor stomped once, thunder cracking under his boots.
Valtor stood there with his mouth wide open. "...What the hell did I just watch?"
He slowly walked around the twins, staring at the armor from different angles.
Valtor scratched his head. "I mean..."
He pointed at the armor. "Looking at it, the armor is strong."
He tapped Rynar’s gauntlet with his knuckle. "Feels solid too."
Then he frowned. "But why the hell do you need music and dancing to transform?"
Rynor shrugged. "You can ask Master."
Rynar nodded. "Yeah."
He pointed at Garion. "He’s the one who made the system."
Valtor immediately turned his head toward Garion.
Garion rolled his eyes slightly but still smiled. "Of course it’s for encouragement."
Valtor blinked. "...Encouragement?"
Garion stepped away from the wall and walked closer to them. "Think about it. During war, what do soldiers do before battle?"
Valtor answered instantly. "They shout."
Garion nodded. "And?"
Valtor thought for a moment. "...They hit drums?"
Garion snapped his fingers. "Exactly."
He pointed at Valtor. "War drums and war cries. They aren’t there just for noise. They’re there to raise morale."
Valtor slowly nodded.
Garion continued. "The music and the dance are the same thing."
He gestured toward the twins. "Who in their right mind would dance and play music while facing enemies?"
Valtor answered immediately. "Crazy people."
Rynor laughed. "Exactly!"
Garion nodded. "That’s the point."
He folded his arms. "If someone can calmly dance and listen to music before a fight... it means they’re confident."
He smirked slightly. "And when the enemy sees that confidence... their own confidence drops."
Arden nodded thoughtfully. "A psychological effect."
Garion pointed at him. "Exactly."
Valtor suddenly slapped his fist into his palm. "Oh! I get it!"
He grinned widely. "It’s really like a war cry!"
Garion nodded. "Exactly."
Valtor laughed loudly. "Hahaha! That’s awesome!"
He pointed at the twins. "You two are basically shouting your war cry before fighting!"
Rynar crossed his arms proudly. "Of course."
Rynor cracked his knuckles. "Style matters."
Valtor looked excited. "I want something like that too!"
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
Valtor grinned. "Yeah! If I’m going to fight in war... I need a proper entrance too!"
Garion smirked and shook his head slightly. "You don’t have to copy their belt exactly."
Valtor blinked. "What do you mean?"
Garion walked toward the forge console and tapped the design screen again. "You can inspect the twins’ belts first."
He pointed at Rynar and Rynor. "Study how the system works. Then you can change it or design something completely new."
Valtor leaned closer to the floating designs. "Completely new?"
Garion nodded. "You don’t even need to use a belt."
He raised a finger and started listing ideas. "It could be a ring, weapon, or anything you can imagine."
Valtor’s eyes grew wider with every sentence. "...That’s insane."
Arden looked at the design screen again. Then he turned toward Garion. "But where do we start?"
Garion answered calmly. "In the library."
Valtor blinked. "The library?"
Garion nodded. "There are a lot of old novels and comics there."
Rynar raised an eyebrow. "Comics?"
Garion smirked. "Stories about masked warriors and others with a similar theme."
He pointed at the forge. "You can use those ideas as inspiration."
Valtor laughed. "Hahaha! So we’re studying comics to build weapons?"
Garion shrugged. "Inspiration can come from anywhere."
Arden suddenly looked excited.
His eyes sparkled behind his glasses. "Alright."
He clapped his hands once. "Twins, Valtor. Let’s go to the library first."
Valtor pointed at himself. "Right now?"
Arden nodded quickly. "If we want to design something new... we need references."
Rynor laughed. "Research time."
Rynar stretched his shoulders. "Fine. But we’re making something cooler than this belt."
Valtor pumped his fist in the air. "Yeah! Let’s go read those comics!"
Garion watched them with a small smirk as the four of them rushed out of the forge.
Valtor was the loudest, already talking excitedly about what kind of armor he wanted.
The twins were arguing about whose transformation looked cooler, while Arden walked behind them trying to calm them down and keep the conversation focused on design ideas.
Their voices slowly faded down the hallway.
Garion shook his head slightly.
"Kids," he muttered.
Then he pushed himself away from the metal table and stretched his shoulders. "Well... Now that the weapon and armor problem is being handled..."
He glanced toward the direction of another building deeper inside God Island. "...let’s go see Mersha."
A small grin appeared on his face. "It’s about time she moved into her new laboratory."
Garion stepped out of the forge and began walking across the metal pathway. "Let’s see what kind of crazy potions she can create."
