Heroic Spirit Deck in Yu-Gi-Oh!-Chapter 310 -
"Are we really just abandoning the fighter jet? Kaiba, you’re okay with leaving behind your ’wife’?"
Hoshino couldn’t believe it. Wasn’t this jet modeled after his beloved Blue-Eyes White Dragon?
Kaiba responded with a pained yet resolute tone, "Flying the jet into Doma territory would make us an easy target. A civilian RV like this is far more discreet!"
Even with the sky darkened by the Leviathan, the forces surrounding Doma HQ were unlikely to let Kaiba’s fighter jet approach without shooting it down.
Sitting in the driver’s seat, Rebecca stomped on the gas pedal and shot Kaiba a look. "This isn’t just any RV! This is a high-end luxury model, mind you!"
Arthur’s reputation in academia had granted him the financial means to afford a state-of-the-art RV—one equipped with both comfort and advanced capabilities.
Meanwhile, outside the vehicle, Hoshino’s summoned army of dragon-tooth soldiers—crafted by Medea’s magic circles—clashed against the encroaching undead.
"I helped too, Master~" Medea Lily added cheerfully, faint traces of magical energy still lingering on her fingers.
To counter the sheer numbers of the undead, Hoshino had summoned both Medea and Medea Lily. The dragon-tooth soldiers, though fragile, were ideal for this battle due to their low mana cost and ability to swarm the enemy.
The battlefield was pure chaos: bone weapons clashing, undead groaning, and shattered skeletons reassembling as quickly as they fell. Watching the skirmish through the RV windows, Jonouchi let out a whistle. "Hoshino, your magic tricks always come in clutch!"
Inside the RV, Rebecca skillfully weaved through waves of undead, but before long, one of the skeletons leaped onto the side of the vehicle.
"Agh! Get it off, get it off!" Anzu shrieked, backing away from the window in panic.

Medea Lily stepped forward, her small hand glowing with magic. Pressing her palm against the glass, she conjured a purple sigil that erupted in a blast, reducing the clinging undead to bits.
"Nice work, Medea Lily!" Hoshino sighed in relief. But just as she spoke, another undead lunged at the RV from the front. Rebecca swerved hard, barely avoiding a crash, yet the creature clung to the windshield.
"These guys just don’t quit!" Jonouchi yelled. Frustrated, he rolled down a window and punched the skeleton square in the face, shattering it into bone fragments.
Seeing the bewildered expressions of her companions, Hoshino smirked. "Maybe we should just toss Jonouchi out there. He could clear a path for us!"
Kaiba nodded curtly. "Finally, a practical use for this mediocre duelist. I approve."
Rebecca, however, was not amused. "Enough joking! Someone cover the front already! These things are everywhere!"
Despite the dragon-tooth soldiers holding off most of the undead, the RV’s path was quickly becoming overwhelmed. Rebecca’s expert driving could only delay the inevitable.
The Pharaoh observed the endless sea of skeletons ahead. "The undead army is larger than we anticipated. Even if we reach Doma, there’s no guarantee we’ll shake them off."
The undead weren’t targeting Hoshino’s group specifically—they were spreading worldwide as the Leviathan’s influence grew.
"No choice—we’ll break through the front!" Hoshino declared, activating her Duel Disk. She drew a card from her Extra Deck and slammed it onto the disk.
Jonouchi’s eyes lit up as he noticed the sleek design of the Duel Disk. "Whoa, Hoshino! That Duel Disk is awesome! Where’d you get it?"
Hoshino smirked. "Wouldn’t you like to know? Let’s just say it was a... special gift."
With a roar of an engine, a golden motorbike burst forth from the summoned card. A leather-clad figure sat atop it, exuding an aura of pure confidence.
"Go, Kintoki! Clear the way!"
The rider, Kintoki, saluted lazily as he revved up his golden bike. "Hey, Boss... Alright, let’s do this!"
Golden energy surged at the bike’s wheels as Kintoki unleashed its full power. The engine roared like thunder, and in a flash, the golden machine plowed through the undead horde, leaving a blazing trail in its wake.
"Let’s ride! Golden Drive!" Kintoki shouted, his voice full of fiery determination.
The RV followed closely behind, using the path carved by Kintoki’s relentless charge. The undead scattered like leaves in a storm, unable to withstand the sheer force of his golden machine.
"Hold on, everyone! We’re breaking through!" Rebecca yelled, flooring the gas pedal as the RV sped toward Doma headquarters.
Thanks to Kintoki’s charge, Hoshino and the others finally escaped the dense swarm of undead.
As they entered the city, organized military forces were already evacuating civilians and mounting a defense against the undead army. The pressure on Hoshino’s group eased somewhat, allowing Medea to stop endlessly crafting dragon-tooth soldiers.
Among the wreckage, a few dragon teeth from Baby Dragon were salvaged—a useful resource for emergencies.
The towering, foreboding silhouette of Paradius Inc. stood before them, merging almost seamlessly with the darkness of the Leviathan looming above. The oppressive atmosphere around the building made it feel like the very heart of the calamity.
"This place feels even creepier than the streets outside. Are we really going to find answers about Doma here?" Jonouchi shuddered, staring up at the ominous skyscraper.
Hoshino took a deep breath, her gaze unwavering despite the nerves creeping up her spine. "No matter how eerie it feels, this is our only lead. If Dartz truly needs the souls of legendary duelists to complete his ritual, there’s no way he’ll sit idly by."
Her time as a "double agent" for Doma hadn’t been wasted—it had given her valuable insights into their plans and methods.
"Although..." she smirked, turning teasingly to Mokuba. "There might be a trap inside—maybe undead duelists waiting to ’invite’ us to a game."
Mokuba flinched, his face paling. "Stop messing with me, Hoshino! There’s no way the undead play Duel Monsters!"
"Oh, but there was that time we met a ’Kaiba’ ghost who was dueling." Hoshino’s mischievous grin widened.
Kaiba shot her a sharp glare. "Enough of your nonsense."
Without waiting for the others, he stepped out of the RV. "Let’s not waste time. I’ll see for myself how Dartz managed to create such a massive projection of holograms."
Mokuba and Pharaoh quickly followed, both concerned about Kaiba’s impulsive actions.
"Wait, Kaiba! It’s too dangerous to go alone!" Pharaoh called, while Mokuba hurriedly climbed out to catch up.
Hoshino sighed, watching the trio charge ahead. "They’re acting like classic cannon fodder characters. In any other story, they wouldn’t survive past Episode 3."
Jonouchi turned to Honda, cracking his knuckles. "I’ll back them up. Honda, you stay here and protect the RV and the others."
Honda gave a resolute nod. "You can count on me!"
Hoshino, however, had other plans. She gestured for Jonouchi and Honda to lean in. "Hey, you two... I’ve got an idea."
Inside Paradius Inc.
The ominous first floor greeted them with exactly what Hoshino had anticipated—an ambush. From the shadows, undead soldiers emerged, eager to "welcome" their uninvited guests.
Hoshino smirked, reprimanding the reckless trio. "This isn’t your Kaiba Corp HQ, Kaiba! Wandering around aimlessly like this is just asking for trouble."
But instead of dwelling on their mistake, she snapped her fingers confidently. "Good thing I came prepared. Alright, guys—unleash the secret weapon!"
"AAHHHHHH!!!"
A war cry echoed through the hall as Jonouchi charged forward with unnatural speed and strength, taking down the nearest undead soldier with a single punch. His strike not only shattered the creature but sent its weapon clattering uselessly to the ground.
Kaiba, Pharaoh, and Mokuba froze in shock.
Jonouchi, now a one-man army, tore through the enemy ranks with ease, his punches reducing the undead to piles of bones. The sight was both awe-inspiring and surreal.
"Hoshino’s secret weapon—Jonouchi on steroids!"
Medea’s reinforcement magic had amplified Jonouchi’s strength. Against the brittle undead, he was practically unstoppable.
Mokuba watched in disbelief. "Jonouchi... Is he even human anymore?!"
After clearing the first wave, Jonouchi struck a triumphant pose. "That’s it? You gotta be kidding me—there’s no way that was all they had! Hoshino, can I keep this ’power-up’ going? Maybe get a monthly subscription or something?"
Hoshino rolled her eyes. "What’s next? Entering the Holy Grail War?!"
Of course, Jonouchi wasted no time flaunting his newfound prowess to Kaiba, who responded with his usual disdain. "Borrowed strength won’t make up for your lack of skill. Typical mediocrity."
Hoshino cut their bickering short, ushering everyone forward. "Save it for later. Jonouchi, you’re on point for the second floor."
To Jonouchi’s disappointment, the second floor was eerily quiet. The wide, dimly lit space seemed tailor-made for a duel arena.
A familiar, authoritative voice echoed from the shadows. "As Lord Dartz predicted, you’ve come. Legendary duelists... and you, Hoshino Chiyuki."
Pharaoh’s eyes narrowed, his body tensing. "Rafael?!"
The Doma enforcer stepped into the dim light, flanked by Valon. Rafael’s presence radiated menace, his resolve sharpened by his prior defeat.
"Pharaoh," Rafael sneered. "It seems you’ve regained your fighting spirit. But this time, you won’t escape. Your soul will be sealed!"
Valon stepped forward, his predatory grin locking onto Jonouchi. "And you, Jonouchi... Don’t think you’ll get away either. You’ll join him in your graves!"
