Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master-Chapter 105 I Will Reveal Your Browser History
"Now you better tell me the truth to how you know everything or else I will reveal your browser history to the entire world," Eva said with a threatening look as a smile appeared on Zack's face.
"I used incognito."
"And I am the CEO of Doogle. All those tht think that using incognito will save them are fools. All that data is lying around in this building and on my command, would be released to the public."
Hearing Eva's words, Zack started sweating. As a teenager, he had searched up many things on the browser and if what Eva said was true, his reputation was in danger.
What he didn't know was that Evangeline was only bluffing. After all, she had done the same things as him as a child and had been caught by her dad when he had gone through her browser history.
Though times had changed then so she wasn't scolded. Instead, her dad had patted her head and said that she could delete the data whenever she wanted.
After her dad had died, she had received a video of him saying that he used to watch similar things as a child and his parents had been harsh with him.
He had also said that he had failed to bring peace and was headed towards a path of destruction. Eva was his only hope of peace as he thought that she could change many things.
He had ended the video by officially giving her the company and access to a special incognito mode that no one could ever record any data from.
"Evangeline, do you believe in gods?"
"No."
"What about fate and destiny?"
"No."
"Then what do you believe in?"
"Myself and the people around me."
A smile appeared on Zack's face as he realized that explaining things was going to be difficult.
'Maybe I should just take Gugnir out and touch her body with it.' Zack then opened his real-life inventory before bringing out the blue lance.
"Uh, what are you doing Zack?" Eva asked with a confused look as she saw Zack's right hand tightening around something.
However, she could only see thin air between his hand.
Zack didn't reply and instead moved towards the desk. After raising the lance, he touched it to Eva's shoulder and waited. 𝐟𝓇ℯ𝒆we𝒃𝘯𝒐νe𝑙.co𝚖
'Hmm, what's this thing poking me?' Eva suddenly felt a pointy thing touching her right shoulder before she turned her eyes down to stare there.
Her jaw fell down.
"H-How?!" She stuttered while looking at the blue lance that was currently touching her shoulder.
It was as though the lance had appeared in the blink of an eye.
"This thing here is named Gugnir, which is portrayed as the spear of Odin though it doesn't belong to him," Zack explained calmly as Eva's eyes flickered over to his face. "It's actually a lance and it's because of this lance that I know everything in advance."
Even before the explosion and time-reversal happened, Zack was only able to come to the past because of Gugnir.
If not for the lance, he would most probably be stuck in his small apartment while being forced to play Hikari to survive.
Eva opened her mouth to say something but closed it the next moment. Zack didn't remove the lance from her shoulder since he wanted her to keep seeing it.
Evangeline's body went extremely still as she fell into deep thinking.
"By the way, gods do exist in this world. I met one of them," Zack added before smiling. "I guess I should give you some time to process this."
"It's just that," Eva finally opened her mouth while her eyes were fixated on Gugnir. "I have seen this before…"
Suddenly, her eyes started glowing. The lance soon followed her example started glowing too which made Zack's eyes widen.
Suddenly, the area around him vanished and his vision blacked out for a few seconds.
The first thing he saw after his vision returned was a dimly lit room with a king-sized bed in the middle of the room.
And on the bed were two people in the heat of the moment.
'Uh…' Zack rubbed his eyes to make sure that he was seeing things correctly.
"Zack, are you sure that Damon won't be a problem?" Suddenly, the female spoke as her face became visible. "That man is really dangerous."
This time, Zack's pupils shrank to the point where he could have been classified as a non-human. The woman in front of him had bright-red hair and green eyes
Her face too matched to someone Zack knew very well.
"Evangeline…" He muttered under his breath before he took the male's appearance. That's when Zack did a double-take.
The male had silky black hair with a pair of shiny purple eyes.
He looked the exact same as Zack, just a bit older. Eva too looked older than her current self. Zack then remembered that the Eva in front of him had also called the male Zack.
"Eva, don't worry too much," Adult Zack patted adult Eva's head. "You know that Elyon will always keep a watch on that guy and if worse comes to worst, all of us should be able to defeat him."
"Your carelessness surprises me." Adult Eva sighed before she lifted her eyes to adult Zack's face to see him smiling. "I wonder how you are even alive with that attitude."
"You just need strength dear. Strength and properly using your brain. Otherwise, I too would have died because of my behavior."
"Well, at least you know about it,' Adult Eva sighed once again before she snuggled beside adult Zack. "You are a very weird person you know?"
"Normal is no fun anymore and well, humans are weird. I could just blame it on evolution or my bloodline but I guess that doesn't really do anything."
"And you just started blabbering random thing." Adult Eva lifted her head up and pouted at Zack's behavior.
"Ain't I adorable?" He asked with a smile as Eva sighed.
"Maybe that's why I love you."
