His soul-Chapter 117: Entomophobia
"In the next two or three days, it’s better not to get this wound exposed to water first." Doctor Joseph gave a message to Julian when he had finished sewing the wound on Gina’s forehead, there were five stitches now lodged in Gina’s forehead.
Julian swallowed his saliva quickly. "Shouldn’t I just take my daughter to the hospital, doc?"
Doctor Joseph shook his head. "No need, sir. I have given the best medicine, I have also stitched the wound. The next thing to do is to keep the wound dry quickly."
"Okay doc, thank you for the information. I will intervene directly to treat Gina’s wound," Vanessa said hoarsely, her eyes filled with tears showing concern which of course was made up. Crazy woman!
Julian smiled at his wife’s words, Julian really couldn’t tell what was right and what was wrong at this point. Vanessa’s acting is completely natural.
Because his job was finished, Doctor Joseph said goodbye to go home, just like before when he came this time Vanessa also took him home. Meanwhile Julian was still sitting beside Gina’s bed, his eyes wet when he saw the dried blood marks on Gina’s neck. Using a small damp towel, Julian wiped his poor daughter’s blood carefully.
"Mom," Rosa called softly to Vanessa, who had returned to Gina’s room. "How is this?" she asked quietly, Rosa looked worried if their father knew the cause of the wound lodged in Gina’s forehead.
Vanessa immediately put her index finger to her lips, she signaled the two worried-looking daughters to calm down.
"You two go, don’t disturb Gina’s rest," said Vanessa, finally shooing her two daughters away.
"But Mom..."
"What Mommy said is true, Selena. The better you two go, the fewer people in this room the more comfortable it will be for Gina." Julian interrupted Selena’s words with a slightly trembling voice.
"Ok."
Without being ordered twice, the two girls immediately left Gina’s room, both smiling broadly at their mother who was also smiling at them both. Once the two daughters are safe, Vanessa then approaches Julian, pretending to be worried about Gina’s condition.
"You’d better go to work, honey. Let me take care of Gina."
Julian shook his head. "No, I’ll just work from home. Besides, I don’t have too much work at the office today."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah, I’m still in shock to see her bleeding like that," answered Julian hoarsely. "Tell me what happened, how did Gina get hurt so badly?"
Vanessa’s heart beat very fast when she heard the question she really didn’t want to hear, but because Vanessa had prepared her free essay, she answered Julian’s question flawlessly. Don’t forget the crocodile tears that immediately flow down her face, perfect! That’s one word that can be said to judge the lies that Vanessa did this time.
"I’m sorry, Julian. I should have cleaned the floor earlier, so this kind of thing didn’t happen," Vanessa said quietly with regret.
Julian took a deep breath. "Never mind, no regrets. This was an accident that no one wanted, but next time you don’t play with dirt and fertilizer again so this kind of thing doesn’t happen. I’m such a bad father, I didn’t know Gina had such an excessive fear of insects like this."
Vanessa made up a fake story saying that Gina has Entomophobia. Entomophobia is an excessive fear of insects. Vanessa said that Gina lost her balance when she saw several caterpillars coming out of her flower vase which was previously broken. What a perfect story! Fuck you Vanessa.
Vanessa wipes her tears. "But it’s my fault, Julian. If you hadn’t broken the vase, maybe this wouldn’t have happened, you can blame me for what happened to our daughter, Julian."
Julian shook his head quickly. "No, it’s not your fault. This is a disaster, we just need to learn from our mistakes so that something like this doesn’t happen again in the future."
"Yes Julian, I also don’t want to see Gina like this. Even though Gina was not born from my womb but I love her very much as much as I love Rosa and Selena, you know that I love her."
"Yeah I know, I don’t doubt you, honey. So far I’ve been able to see it without you having to speak," said Julian full of emotion.
Julian’s answer suddenly made Vanessa’s tears flow again, seeing his wife crying again made Julian hug her tightly. When hugging his wife Julian repeatedly said words of love and gratitude for taking good care of Gina, meanwhile Vanessa, who was currently staring at Gina, was giving her a devilish smile towards Gina. Her lips uttered a few words of swearing at Gina without a sound.
"We’d better leave Gina, let her rest," Vanessa said softly as Julian let go of her embrace.
"Yeah, you’re right. I also need to change my clothes, in 30 minutes I have to have a virtual meeting with some people."
"Well then let’s quickly leave Gina’s room, I’ll choose the best clothes for you so you look perfect at the meeting later." Vanessa’s eyes sparkled as she spoke.
Julian laughed amused at Vanessa’s behavior, which he thought was adorable, Julian didn’t know that the woman he married was a disgusting, two-faced devil woman. Julian had really been fooled by Vanessa’s pretty face.
After giving a kiss on the forehead of Gina, who was still asleep, Julian then followed Vanessa who was waiting for him at the door, the man carefully closed the door to Gina’s room so as not to wake her up. As soon as Julian had made sure Gina’s room was tightly closed, Vanessa immediately wrapped her arms around her husband’s arm in a spoiled manner, she also kissed Julian’s cheek several times passionately.
"I want you, baby," Vanessa said hoarsely.
"I have a meeting dear."
"I know, I’ll play fast. Promise."
Julian chuckled. "You really are naughty."
Vanessa smiled widely. "Only to you I’m like this, baby. You know that, don’t you? Besides, I haven’t felt warmth from you in a long time after trouble has hit our family."
Julian narrowed his eyes, thinking about what Vanessa had just said. There is a little regret in him right now because he can’t understand his wife’s bed needs, suddenly Julian carries Vanessa like a newlywed which makes Vanessa scream loudly in shock.
"Julian..." Vanessa groaned.
"Shhh...save your voices for bed, we have 30 minutes to have fun."
Vanessa smiled widely, she then wrapped her arms around Julian’s neck. "I can’t wait, baby."
Julian chuckled again, he then walked back to their room to keep his promise to Vanessa.
In an unconscious state Gina shed tears, tears of sadness that flowed quite profusely that wet the pillow that supported her head. Gina’s subconscious seems to respond to all the lies that Vanessa told her father, poor Gina.

Barcelona police station, 10.00 AM.
Massimo sat quietly watching his personal lawyer argue with the police, meanwhile Martin and some of his other people were busy providing some important documents related to the former land that was evicted 2 years ago in the city of Almeria.
"Mr. Massimo bought all the land from the court that officially carried out the eviction, so if you say that Mr. Massimo is the person behind the eviction, that’s not true," said Martin firmly as he showed the letter of purchase of the land from the court to two police officers. "I will sue all of you if you continue to accuse Mr Massimo of being a criminal, no one is above the law in this country including the King. So I warn you to be more thorough in investigating a case."
Martin’s face reddened as he spoke, he was really annoyed at the police who kept accusing the master.
Massimo, who was enjoying his soft drink, thinned his lips at the words of his right hand, even though he had been silent for a while but his brain was working. Massimo was guessing who had gotten him into trouble this time, too many rivals made Massimo a little difficult to identify his enemy this time.
While he was thinking, a name suddenly crossed Massimo’s mind.
"Lucas Dom," Massimo said hoarsely with hatred.
