His soul-Chapter 136: Defense
Gina smiled at the words of her father who told her about his early meeting with Sandra twenty years ago, Gina did not expect that her father and mother had such a beautiful story. Although in the end their togetherness had to end due to a cruel fate, Gina was happy that her mother had been the happiest woman when she was with her father.
"Daddy hopes that one day Daddy meets your mother again up there, your mother will forgive Daddy. That’s all Daddy wants," said Julian hoarsely, closing the story.
"No, Daddy. Please don’t talk about things like that, Grandpa just left. And now, Daddy wants to leave me alone?" Gina asked quietly.
"Honey..."
"I don’t want to talk to Daddy anymore if Daddy discusses it!" Gina immediately cut her father’s words quickly, her body trembled slightly when she spoke.
Because he didn’t want to see Gina cry, Julian immediately hugged Gina tightly, this was the first time they had spoken as closely as they had been since Gina’s arrival to Barcelona.
"Yeah, let’s not talk about it anymore, I’m sorry."
Gina bit her lower lip hard, trying not to cry. She didn’t want to cry. Gina doesn’t want to look weak.
"You’ll forgive Daddy, won’t you?" Julian asked again.
"But promise not to repeat it again."
Julian chuckled. "Yes dear."
"Okay i’ll forgive you, Daddy." 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Julian’s smile grew wider when he heard Gina’s words, he then released his arms from Gina and returned a kiss to Gina’s forehead which was covered by her hair.
"Today Daddy will take you to campus," said Julian softly.
"Campus?"
"Yeah, you really don’t want to go to college?"
"I will, of course I will," Gina answered quickly.
"Well then, the three of us will leave for the best campus in town at ten. Daddy has made an appointment with the campus."
Gina frowned. "Three?"
"Daddy, you and Selena. Your sister is also starting college this year and Daddy wants you two to be on the same campus," said Julian excitedly. "Daddy hopes that with the two of you being in the same campus, you can become closer to each other, Daddy knows that until now Selena and Rosa have not been nice to you. But Daddy asks you to be patient with them both, your two younger siblings too pampered since childhood because that’s still like this. But believe me they are both good and obedient children, you can be patient for them a little longer can’t you?"
Gina nodded her head slowly in response to her father’s words, although a little disappointed because her father still defended Selena and Rosa, but Gina tried not to show her disappointment because she didn’t want to make her father sad.
Julian and Gina’s conversation had to be ended because Vanessa had been screaming for Julian, the woman looked a little panicked because she couldn’t find Julian. Because there are too many masks that Vanessa wears, Gina can’t tell whether she’s really panicking right now or just making it up as usual.
"Take a shower and get ready to have breakfast together, Gina. You’re going with Selena to college today, aren’t you?" Vanessa asked softly, a feigned kindness that made Gina sick.
Gina nodded. "Yes aunty."
"Well, hurry up, take a shower, Mommy will help Daddy get ready after that we eat together. Diego and Jesslyn are also getting ready now in their room," Vanessa said again.
"Ah yes, I almost forgot. From today onwards Diego and Jesslyn will be living with us again, Gina. Daddy forgot to tell you," said Julian quickly replied to his wife’s words.
Gina pursed her lips. "Good, at least the house will be busier with their presence."
Vanessa smiled, like a kind and sincere stepmother who immediately hugged Gina tightly. "Mommy hopes you will get along, even though you are not siblings but Mommy hopes that you can help each other in the future."
"You take it easy, our children are good children."
Vanessa smiled again, she released her arms from Gina’s body and hugged Julian again to enter the house. Meanwhile Gina walked behind following the two of them, when Julian had entered the house first, Vanessa suddenly stopped her steps and immediately put her hands on Gina’s waist.
"You have to be aware Gina, my son is back. His position as the first child in this family has returned, so don’t dream that you can rule this family," Vanessa said curtly, she returned to her original nature when talking alone with Gina.
Gina pursed her lips. "Oh so you’ve taken off your mask apparently."
"You.."
"Don’t worry aunty, I’m not interested in the position of the first child in this family. Diego can take it back."
Vanessa smiled sarcastically. "If you still want to live in this house, you better follow all the rules I made, because from now on I’m the one who controls this house. If you argue, please leave my house and..."
"My house?!" Gina immediately interrupted Vanessa’s words. quickly. "This is the house left by the Sanders family and I am the legitimate granddaughter of this family, while who are you? You’re just a daughter-in-law, aunty. And that proud son obviously has nothing to do with this family, so legally I still have far more rights in this house than your unemployed son."
"Gina you!!!"
"Vanessa..."
Vanessa’s words stopped when Julian called her name.
"Yes honey, I’m coming. I’m still talking to Gina for a while," Vanessa shouted loudly in response to Julian’s call.
"We’ll talk later, we have to go to campus soon, Vanessa!!"
"Yes honey I’m going up."
Gina smiled. "Go, immediately serve my father well and don’t forget to put your mask back on when you’re with him."
Vanessa’s jaw tightened, her face reddened at Gina’s words. Gina really has no fear of her.
"Our business is not finished, Gina!!" Vanessa said curtly.
"Ok, I’ll wait." Gina replied casually.
Because Julian called Vanessa again, she was in a hurry to leave the place where she was talking to Gina, because she didn’t see the way, Vanessa tripped over her own feet and fell in the same place as when she dropped Gina a few weeks ago. Luckily, there was no table where Gina’s head hurt, so Vanessa didn’t experience the same thing as Gina’s.
"Oops, be careful aunty. Does this mean you need to use a cane? Or a wheelchair?"
slap..
Vanessa’shit the floor hard, she was angry that Gina was mocking her.
Seeing Vanessa angry made Gina laugh even harder, because she didn’t want to make her father wait, Gina chose to run and left Vanessa on the floor. The woman was still on her knees as Gina climbed the stairs.
"Damn bastard...how dare you mock me. You’ll see, I’ll make you suffer.. aargghh..."
