His soul-Chapter 611: Don’t Leave me
Massimo took a deep breath when he got back in his car, today had really been a very long and tiring day for him. After receiving information about Lupita’s death, Massimo was forced to intervene for all the funeral processes that Lupita had previously ordered.
"Thank you for all your help today, sir. Lupita must be calm up there," Aime said sincerely to Massimo who had just got into his car.
Massimo pursed his lips, staring at Aime who was standing beside his car. "This is one of my obligations as Lupita’s best friend, Lupita is not only my employee. She has a more meaningful position than me, I should be thanking you after what you have done for Lupita in the last few months."
"What I did is still not comparable to what Lupita gave me, sir," answered Aime honestly with teary eyes.
Massimo smiled a little. "I know how close you are to Lupita, I also know that you are also very sad right now but there is one thing you must remember that life must go on. Lupita is happy in her new place now and I hope you are like that too, since you haven’t rested well for the past three months then I’ll give you a week off to cool off before returning to work."
"I’m still allowed to work, sir?" Aime asked, surprised.
"Why not? You don’t want to work at RedFox anymore?"
Aime shook her head quickly. "Of course I will, sir. I need a job to survive."
"Very well then, Redfox is still wide open for you," said Massimo again. "And there’s one more thing for you to do right now, Aime."
"What is it, sir?"
"Learn from all the mistakes that Lupita has made before, I hope I will never find my employees again who suffer the same fate as Lupita. Both in health and personal life, as a person who knows her very well I hope you can learn a lot from her," Massimo answered quietly, giving advice to Aime.
Aime nodded slowly. "Okay sir, I will remember and carry out this message you gave me well."
"Good, fine then we split up here. It’s getting late, I hope you get home soon and get some rest. See you next week at RedFox."
"See you next week, sir," Aime said quickly.
After Massimo and Aime’s conversation was over, Martin immediately got into the car. Not long after Martin finished fastening his seat belt, Pablo then immediately took the black bulletproof car away from the beach where Lupita’s ashes were scattered. An hour ago, Lupita’s third ex-husband’s argument was successfully stopped by Massimo. The three unemployed men and their daughters finally left the crematorium with such great shame after Massimo spoke, none of them dared to accept Massimo’s terms, until finally one by one they chose to leave the place because they did not want to have a longer deal with him. The famous Massimo del Cano was so cruel.
When Lupita’s ex-husbands left, only then could Lupita’s funeral procession be carried out. Massimo and his men took the urn containing Lupita’s ashes to the beach that Lupita had chosen during her lifetime.
"I’m going to miss that crazy woman," Massimo said quietly when Pablo’s car was already on the road to his house.
Martin smiled. "Lupita has calmed down now, sir. She doesn’t feel sick anymore either."
"Yeah, you’re right, Lupita is in her best place right now." Massimo immediately responded to Martin’s words quickly.
Martin just smiled a little at Massimo’s words, he didn’t dare to speak again because he knew that Massimo was in a bad mood right now. Likewise with Pablo who chose to concentrate on the road, because it was so late Pablo then increased the speed of his car so they could get home as soon as possible.
Unbeknownst to Massimo and Martin, Pablo and Gina had been communicating for the past thirty minutes. Gina, who was worried about Massimo’s condition, kept asking Pablo, that’s why at this time Gina’s house had prepared everything to welcome her husband’s return. From Massimo’s favorite tea to warm water in the bathtub, Gina has also prepared, Gina has really done her job as a good wife at this time.
Gina who was standing at the window immediately ran towards the door when Massimo and his men came home, Gina who knew if her husband was not in a good mood wanted to greet him directly.
"Welcome," Gina said softly to Massimo who had just stepped into the house, Gina tried to speak as naturally as possible so that Massimo would not suspect her who had just run from their room.
Massimo, who did not expect to be greeted by Gina immediately raised his left hand up to look at the clock installed there.
Realizing that Massimo was about to get angry, Gina immediately stepped closer to the man quickly. "I won’t be able to sleep if you’re not home, so don’t be mad."
"But it’s almost three in the morning, Gina," Massimo said hoarsely.
"I know."
"You can get sick!"
Gina pursed her lips. "No, I can’t be sick. I already had time to sleep with Regis before I finally woke up and realized that the father of my handsome son wasn’t home yet, that’s why I’m waiting for you right now."
"What time is Regis sleeping?"
"Eight o’clock, he’s asleep when he’s tired of playing with the new robots Lucas gave him," Gina answered honestly.
Massimo took a deep breath. "I should have accompanied Regis to play."
Gina raised her hand, touching Massimo’s face gently. "It’s ok, no human wants this kind of thing to happen. Human births and deaths are well recorded by God and no human can avoid it."
Massimo immediately hugged Gina tightly, Gina pursed her lips. Slowly he felt Massimo’s back gently.
"Don’t leave me, Gina. Whatever happens later, I must die first," said Massimo hoarsely. "I don’t want to be abandoned by the people I love again."
Hearing Massimo’s words, Gina immediately pushed him away. "Don’t talk like that, it’s almost morning. You must be tired, let’s go back to our room now."
"Gina..."
"We’ll talk about it in the morning, OK."
Massimo didn’t give Gina an answer, he looked dissatisfied and waited for an answer from his previous words from Gina.
Gina took a deep breath when she saw how stubborn her husband was, with a little tiptoe Gina grabbed Massimo’s face and landed a kiss on the man’s forehead gently.
"I won’t leave you, don’t worry."
