"I’m not marrying anyone else! That’s my decision."

Alice denied all the possible allegations possible in her direction. Her mind didn’t even wonder and thought about this even for a single second.

Even the sudden urge and confidence boosted inside her mind, "You can’t send me away from him like this!"

"Marriages, weddings, they aren’t joking! They are a true union of two people. Now that he needs me, you want me to leave all my responsibilities as his wife and live my life?" Alice wasn’t only annoyed but certainly hurt.

How come he can decide this so quickly? Did he take this marriage as a mere ceremony? In her eyes, she can’t take it so easy.

Suddenly seeing his daughter taking someone else’s side ruined his mood. It even began to get hurt in his heart, to the level where he felt that he had done a big mistake by making her wed and letting her be a sacrifice in the place of Flora.

His teeth gritted and the disappointment had plastered in his eyes. "Ask them...to leave this place, Alice. For one and all, for your sake, ask them to leave this."

"If you want them to go away then, I shall also leave with them," Alice told him very clearly.

At this spot, there were two incredibly stubborn people facing each other. None could deny that no one of them had even taken a step back in his place. As Alice wanted to let her father help Cyrus, King Vilas wanted Alice to leave Cyrus and move on with her life.

Involving her in any war is the last hit in my shin right now.

"Why, Alice?" His sudden question left Alice dumbstruck. "Why do you want to save them and live with him?"

For the next few minutes, Alice stayed quiet in her own mind. She had no words to describe currently but her mind told her that she will need to be honest with him.

"I can’t leave my promise to him like this. My Marriage...everything, if it didn’t involve any feelings or other things, it wasn’t even fake. My...role..my responsibilities, I can’t leave them and try back on him. I can’t leave Cyrus in this position, father and I’m solid with words." Alice told him honestly.

The sole reason she knew that she can’t lie was that her father can see through her soul like a mirror.

As usual, her explanation had brought a chuckle. Alice found it hard to differentiate whether it was a fake or the sarcasm filled in them like any honey.

But King Vilas had much more to say in this and he wasn’t done till yet, "When you had gone from the NOMAN’S land, you had clearly said that you will never...stay by his side. You used to hate him. Who told you to do so this? How come you change your actions towards him so easily, Alice?"

His question was very much valid and in her eyes, Alice knew that she had no way to lie to his face, "Mother."

"Mother?"

"Yes. Mother. She came in my dream and told me that I will need to live my life and put my trust in him because there are many who’ll take undue advantage of me." Alice’s words suddenly made the atmosphere turn more serious around them.

Her words were like striking the hot plate, and this suddenly infruited King Vilas. In his heart, he never imagined ever hearing this from her. "Barcel appeared in your dream?"

"Yes, she did." Alice gave him an understanding nod.

While Alice believed that her father might somewhat warm to her mother’s reference and context, it turned out to be exactly the opposite, and all in her negative response

But this suddenly sore this mood. It turned worse with time, working his disappointment, least expected to what he saw right now. It was almost not accepted by him right now.

"THAT’S ENOUGH ALICE! YOU ARE LEAVING CYRUS AND THAT’S DONE." KING Vilas gave his ultimatum decision and he made Alice once again worried. Her veins were filled with heavy breaths at last.
