History at the Library-Chapter 133
Wind Becomes a Storm (14)
From that night on, Vivienne was ill and bedridden.
It was the weekend that Aiden promised, so she was immediately taken to his mansion.
Of course, it wasn’t the fever of first love, but it was simply the body aches caused by irregular living and overwork.
She didn’t eat well because she was too lazy to eat, so her immunity had dropped to the point of decline. Vivian, who had a fever, repeatedly lost her mind while struggling. Because of lack of sleep, she woke up, ate, took medicine, and crawled back into bed and fell asleep.
Someone was beside her constantly nursing her. When her body heats up, they wiped her whole body with a towel soaked in cold water.
For some reason, she was embarrassed to show her naked body, so when she covered herself with a blanket and murmured, they kissed softly from forehead to cheek as if a butterfly had fallen. Then, she had no choice but to relax her grip on the blanket.
Who was there to treat her like a child?
Oh, yeah, there was.
It was a past tense. Somehow, the end of her nose got choked up with longing. Vivian shed tears and made a nasal sound. A word she hadn’t said since she was ten came out of her mouth.
Mother, mother.
Is it a dream? When she opened her eyes with a look of excitement, she sometimes met eyes with blue eyes. At the tip of the nose, a refreshing scent passed, and sometimes someone’s breath and black hair tickled the skin. Well, she guessed it’s a dream. Vivian thought.
“No, you can’t keep your ring on!”
The blackened mind slowly lifted to the surface. She heard someone scolding her from time to time. Maybe there was something wrong with her hearing because of the fever, but she could hear it as if she was submerged in the water.
Ring? The reaction to the word was simply because it was stabbed.
She lifted her eyelids with a feverish head and opened her eyes. It was as hot as a fever rising to the eyeballs. And in front of her, the view was as if she was looking at a mirage. There were two men, one probably Aiden.
Is the other one a congressman based on his clothes?
Said the man in a white gown.
“It’s enough to wear a ring only when you need it. How much pressure would it put on one’s body if they were forced to block reproductive functions? It could have led to infertility. Of course, the odds are very slim, but there’s a thing called if.”
“…….”
“Or the owner is wearing it. Why the hell are you putting pressure on the lady?”
“It wasn’t compulsory. But it’s true that you’re sitting on the sidelines.”
Aiden continued with a sigh.
“…because strange bugs are entangled.”
“Yes?”
“Nothing. Get out of the way.”
Aiden swung his hand as if to kick out the annoying bug. The lawmaker complained as if he was nagging for a long time, but he gently stepped down following the order as if he was a person who was afraid for his life.
Soon after, a maid came in with a white cloth. What the hell is it? Vivian held her still trembling head and blinked her eyes. The heat that had not yet come down left her unconscious.
The maid took off the blanket covering her. She didn’t have to take off her clothes because she was naked anyway. With her skillful hand, she swung the new white cloth back and forth. Her coveted buttocks were covered with a white cloth, and Vivian’s face began to turn white. So this is…..
She desperately clenched her fist as the maid’s hand tried to remove the ring from Vivian’s left ring finger. In fact, there was one more effect of the ring except contraception. To temporarily remove menstruation. She was suffering from menstrual cramps every month, so she couldn’t take the ring out easily even though she knew it wasn’t good for her.
It was a very intense temptation to escape the pain of menstrual pain. It’s like the only gift she got from Aiden, so there’s a reason why she couldn’t get it out of her head.
“Vivian, you’re nice, aren’t you? I’ll take it out for a while.”
“Shi, I don’t want…”
When the maid made her troubled face, Aiden, who was standing behind her, came over and took Vivian’s hand.
She rebelled, shaking her head from side to side, but being stubborn wasn’t the first thing to do. Vivian eventually relaxed her hand.
“Ugh……!”
With the familiar sensation of menstrual blood pouring through the legs, the terrible pain that had been forgotten came in an instant. The pain that she had put off last month seemed to come at once. The uterus was making a fuss by itself, destroying the walls.
Her mind wandered again. As her menstrual cramps added to her body aches, she just wanted to pass out like this.
I’d rather cut out the boat.
A cruel impulse arose. She was powerless as if someone had taken out all the blood from her body, and she wanted to faint as if she was falling asleep, but it was not easy to do so.
As Vivian cried with tears that she would shed for the rest of her life, Aiden put the painkiller in her mouth and held the water. Then he forced her mouth open and kissed her. The chapped lips were moistened. The lip contact was cold, maybe because of heat or water. She remembered mixing her tongue with him over and over again because of the burning thirst even when water and medicine went over my throat.
Since then, it has been completely dark as if the consciousness had been cut with scissors.
