Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1215 : Assault!-4
"This is a first even for me but I guess he had strong will. Let's move on; we have to eliminate everyone in his house as a precaution." She stood up, walking away from Samuel's corpse, ready to move on but right as everyone had turned away, someone looked back on last time only to find his ominious figure standing at the same place.
The moon was unsually bright, which hung right above his face obscuring his face but he could still see those glowing red eyes that sent shivers down his spine.
"I-i...he..." He barely had a chance to warn his companion before he was split in two by an unforseen force.
Samuel's body swayed as his head tilted to the side in an unnatural way. The soldiers didn't know whether to shoot him down or wait for command.
The old woman squinted trying to assess whether this was his last ditch effort or Raani's ramblings about him being immune was true.
If it was that it meant certain doom to their organization who inadvertently picked a fight with their natural enemy!
"What are you waiting for fire-" She shouted but her last words got stuck in her throat as her body went flying above her forces, landing right on top of a tree.
Others finally reacted seeing her flung like a ragdoll but it was too late. He wasn't just knocking them out but slicing and dicing them like cabbages.
His hands were coated with strange material that acted like swords as he swung them around. Even their high tech gear never managed to block one blow from it.
All the cut bodies would catch fire, making the scene even more gruesome. A fellow even raised his rifle above his head thinking it would repell his attack but he cut through it like butter going further seperating his body in two halves which send chills down other people's spines.
Remaining six or seven individual went on their knees begging for mercy which finally seemed to have worked as he stopped right before the person neck who was about to be beheaded.
"Fuck you!" Instead of feeling gratitude, one of them took this chance to fire his rifle and actually managed to hit him which did make him stagger a bit but he still remained standing tall.
His head jerked in the person's direction who now felt so much fear seeing the red hue in his eyes that he pissed his pants.
In the end, only three people survived not because he took mercy on them but because they appeared to be most experienced and could provide valuable information regarding the organization.
Suddenly he howled like a crazy person after which Luna and her pack emerged from the shadows.
They felt the strange aura emanating from his body which felt familiar and unfamiliar to her at the same time. Even Titan the one that loved to defy him had his tail tucked between his legs.
It showed that Samuel was more of a beast than a human in his current form as he had a natural affinity to scare them.
"Just....watch..them...sorry." He slurred his words but Luna understood him through his feelings.
She could sense his internal struggle, the fear of going out if control and worrying about Talia's fate. Each thing was dragging him closer to the edge, not to mention, this poison seemed to heighten his emotions.
Maybe it was intentional but he didn't like it as anger and hatred he felt for everything seemed to multiply under the drug's affect.
Luna lifted her head and howled loudly. It's like she was trying to calm him down and her piercing howl did manage to keep him in check, well enough that he could interrogate the old woman about Talia's whereabouts.
He walked over to the old lady and said," Stop..pretending. If you answer my question, I will let you live but one lie and I will show you true hell." His voice was horse but what frightened the old lady was his appearance.
His face was constantly changing, the black lines seemed to be retreating visible to the naked eye and she could smell the familiar scent of her poison dispersing in the air but it was faint nothing like the potency of the one which infected him.
*cough* *cough* "How is this possible?" She was shocked.
Samuel lifted her up, grabbed her finger and violently ripped it off her hands making her scream with agony.
" A finger for each wasted question, then we will move to limbs then to your head. I don't care about your organization, I just want Talia back. What did you do to her?"
" I don't know...I came here to finish the business but as she broke the rules, there is only one thing waiting for her, death. A death by a thousand poison, something only reserved for traitors and most hedious criminals within the organization."
"When...Tell me that she is alive."
"I don't know. If I knew I would have told you. Please."
Samuel could discern accurately when someone was lying to him so he knew the old lady didn't know anything.

"Who would know then? How many of you are out there?"
"Her mentor would know." She stopped and didn't answer his second question.
"Do you really want to loose another finger?"
"Don't judge my fear as cowardice. What I told you are simple things but if you want to ask me for secrets then I have tell you, you are not my type." She chuckled through the pain.
Samuel really wanted to tear her apart but it wouldn't change anything. People like her who had been in the system for decades would never crack, she would much less die then to betray her 'family'.
"Go. Just tell everyone not to intrude and if they really want my head they could message and arrange something. I will gladly face any one if you but don't take my mercy lightly. If you still keep on disobeying our contract then don't blame me for wiping your entire organization off the face of the earth. Never doubt I would not do it." He said taking the wolves away with him.
His work was not done, he needed to find Raani and ask her what happened with Talia but before that he needed to head home and take few minutes off for his body to heal itself.
The old woman watched him leave while using something from her pack to instantly close her wounds. She never expected to be defeated by him so easily. It was clear that she underestimated him by a wide margin!
