Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1221 : SItuations
"What's going on? Did they make a move?" Samuel came rushing in the office, still looking like a bum with all the blood and dirt around his body. Everyone was shocked but he pushed it aside, telling them that it was not his blood.
Those that saw the scene of the fight knew how many people he had to fend off alone and they were in disbelief. At this point, their young master was nothing shorter than a monster surpassing even Daniel and Peter, who were considered his rivals.
"Well, aside from you scaring everyone to death, a lot of activity was detected. Many major players have started to act, seeing the flow of the tide turn." Jane said, giving him a seat at the table where she could show him things.
"The people that were hurt by them—no, the family of the girls that went missing because of their two sons—were threatened recently. There were a lot of hired goons and we are tracking their movements so they don't go overboard but it did leave them shook as they don't know the full picture. Some suspect them but I don't think they are as excited to disrupt their lives over their lost ones."
"What? Don't they care about them?"
"Oh, they do care but they know if they open their mouth, they would lose more people. The bold ones would make their move but we can't be certain about their intention without talking with them. I will try to make a list and try to get in contact with them but everyone is under surveillance." Steve added.
"Not to mention, there were also cops involved who have started to harass them. These dirty ones don't care about anything but money." Ze, whom he hadn't seen for a while, finally made an appearance.
"How is my sister-in-law doing? I promised Nandi and Lwazi to take them to the amusement park but I don't think I will be available anytime soon." He said it with a smile.
"They are fine. She told me to keep an eye on you since she felt you were someone who would always be plagued by trouble. That's why I cancelled the vacation."
"Oh yeah? Last time I heard, she wasn't that happy with it." Cho scoffed at his blatant lies.
Drake was fiddling with the lighter, not at all interested in socializing. He was enjoying an amazing vacation with Syiara, his old flame from Bosnia but he had to cut it short because of this trouble, which had made him grumpy.
"You were talking about new players?"
"Yes, the companies that we were shorting due to the news recently made an upward jump because of them. I think it's his friends that he called upon in times of need. You can see his face in the news almost every day, trying to calm the investor and public alike but it didn't seem to be working much with how much we have on him."
"No problem, just ask Abigail to send some more money. I am sure the firm has sufficient cash flow."
"I will but you should know she would always curse, telling me to stop you from doing these sorts of things. First the LVHM fiasco; now this, she says the stress of what you would do in the future keeps looming over her head."
"Aunt Abigial does like to be dramatic. Don't worry, I will send her a message." He knew he couldn't be reckless since he had big plans both with his current industries and the one he was about to create with the help of the extradionaire hackers he rescued from Richard's lair.
The first few years would be a money pit that would strain even his finances. Fortunately, he knew many ways to make quick money due to his future insight but his meddling would ultimately divert the future in a completely different direction in a few years.
"What about the bait? Did he take it or is he still ignoring it?"
"I don't know; even if he did, he wouldn't tell it to many people, not even his wife, as his wife favors his second son. If she really suspected her first son was behind everything, all hell would break loose. After all, she has a lot of connections and owns a substantial portion of his subsidiaries."
"We can turn them against one another." Drake finally entered the conversation.

"No, it's too risky. We are already walking a thin line after extending ourselves this much. There are people that are looking for Clark, then there are people that are looking for who beat up their second son, Terry; hell, there are also people constantly gunning for our boss! Too many variables will tip the delicate balance; I advise against it." Jane refused.
"Do what you think is right. Just don't deviate too much from the plan. The final phase will be brutal for everyone."
"Are you sure, boss? Once those recordings and audio are leaked, her majesty would definitely target you more relentlessly."
"You shouldn't take the crown lightly." Arthur, who entered the office with Daniel, said in a grim tone.
"The whole family could be implicated. There are things that could get harder for us or people who would stab us in the back, knowing the side they would stand on the end." Daniel also added clutching his head.
He thought about the wars and battles that were fought over the dignity of one woman and found that this situation was extremely similar to what happened in ancient times. This would become the biggest news in British history ever since the premature departure of Princess Diana, which made him extremely worried.
"It's not that I didn't warn her. She needs to know when to back off and not to protect people like them. I can't chance her thinking, which only left me with one option."
"Don't regret it then and go clean yourself up. There are people waiting for you."
