Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1243: Negotiation-1
"Have you waited enough? I expected you to return by now." He was led into her chamber and as expected was met with hostility.
"Do you think I am a kid that would get angry over everything? I am a patient man." Samuel didn't take her anger to heart. The reason for it was clear to him.
"How do you know about the girl? You even found our long held secret, that site which shouldn't be known to anyone outside the division. Tell me, how many spies are there within my ranks?" She asked.
"Spies? I don't olay such dirty games when there are vulnerabilities in the enemy system. The technology is a double edged sword the more one relies on it, the more they are exposing themselves for such attacks."
"That's impossible! We have the best system in the world. No one even know the existence of the division, not even you before I exposed them to you and now you are telling me that you broken into my house just like that? Am I suppose to believe such nonsense?"
"I never said I did it. There are things that becomes clear when we know they exist. Previous anomalies would be direct proof of incursions giving us a clear understanding of what we should focus on. As someone said, the most powerful tool is the ability to stay invisible and once someone loses that edge, they become sitting duck for ourside attacks."
"What if I simply expose your involvement? I don't believe people will ask me for proof considering my reputation." She stated.
"That will be disappointing. People will hail me as a hero and I don't like to appear in such limelight."
"But it will expose your routine. You that is hellbent on destroying someone under my protection."
"You couldn't sweep this under the rug no matter what you do now. There is enough evidence to put them and the cronies in government that are helping them in jail. Do you want people to shame the Royal family too?"
"You really have a sharp tongue. No matter what others do, they wouldn't blame me for recognising the good aspect of that family. I can simply feign ignorance and avoid the matter entirely."
"True, with how much influence you still have in government and media, I can see how you can oush the matter aside but what will you do when other members of the Royal family began to appear in lawsuits and allegations? Would you also discard them?"
"Young master, Samuel." Albert stopped him from continuing. He could see the Queen's face flush with anger which was not a good sign.
"It's fine. I know my family well. They would not do anything to bring shame upon the British Royal family."
"Are you sure about that?" Samuel asked putting his hands inside his jacket.
His movements, alerted Queen's guards as they emerged from the shadows completely surrounding her while four of them put aimed their weapons on his head.
"Are you joking? I am not petty enough to kill my relative so can you just lower your guns?" Samuel knew they would react but he never thought they would be this violent.
He knew about these guards from his previous meetings and since he was someone who wasn't checked upon entry, they had to extra cautious of him.

"What are you guys doing? We might be at odds but this is too much. Just leave us be and don't disturb us." The Queen also stood up to reprimand them but they were only doing their job.
"Sorry but before leaving can you provide us with a 'clean' device? I have some something that I need to show her." Samuel stopped one of them who was walking away.
The man in question was startled when he was tapped on the shoulder. He didn't even see or hear him when he sneaked up on him which was shocking not to mention when did he cover that much distance?
"Okay." The man said firmly but there was a strange respect in his tone. Samuel was famous not only in his family but there were many rumours about him especially regarding his fighting prowess.
Most people never believed it as he was just a child in their eyes. How much would need to train to get to their level was only known to them. But seeing his casual move, they were convinced that it was indeed right move for them to be cautious about him.
"What did you bring me? Another headache?"
"This is a thumb drive. You can store information-"
"I know what a thumb drive is!" She shouted displeased by his antics.
"I am sorry. I thought you were so old..I often hear these things often puzzle elderly people."
"I might be old but I also have a smartphone. I use it daily to-"
"Your majesty, you don't need to tell him everything." Albert interjected. He often forget that these people would fight like cats and mouse and sometimes behave so affectionately that even confused him.
"What? It was just getting interesting! Tabloids would find these tid bits wuite amusing."
"You wouldn't dare boy!" She hissed.
"Are you sure about that?" They stared at each other before both started laughing like it was most normal thing to do. Albert with all his wisdom couldn't understand these two hot and cold approach, he felt like a maintenance worker sitting on a live bomb not knowing when it will explode!
"So what is it?"
"Look for yourself. He handed her the laptop and found that the Queen's fingers were surprisingly nimble as she navigated through the drives.
The more she looked into it, the more shocking her face appeared. There were audio and video sample to back up several claims made by the file making her angry and furious not at him but at her own family.
"I know you value family and loyalty more than anything so I never wanted to use this as my bargaining chip. It might have come in handy in the future but I understood that if we keep fighting the only one profiting from it will be them and my enemies. I want them to suffer and this seemed like the fastest way to do it."
"This can't be...my granddaughter is not mine? Even my son went to these length to manipulate things. Does he want my throne that badly?" She leaned back on her chair pale from the revelation.
She would have never imagined the snakes he warned her about where so close to her, practically living and feeding off her influence. They even had spies in the MI7 division who actively awaited her death so that they could take over the division from within.
Such traitors were conspiring together with their own goals, just waiting for her to kick the bucket. She couldn't imagine what would happen to the Royal Family of things pan out their way.
The reputation her ancestors built over centuries was already tarnished enough because of their colonization nature but she did a lot to rectify it even damaging their own country to do so but if these people were given power, she knew whatever little trust people had in them would vaporize within months!
"I don't want anything for this information but one thing. If you need help, I can lend a hand but in return, I want you to stop protecting the scums who have lodged themselves inside the government and in private sector. You will not take any blame for it, I will do that for you starting with Green family."
Albert who watched from the side was equally shocked. He felt thankful that the Wueen trusted him enough and he got to witness these secrets. As her most trusted subordinate, he could only imagine what these people would do to him and his family once she wasn't in the picture to protect him.
"I...I"
" Just think about it. I will ask honest people to start the investigation, these people are not controlled by me or anyone else, just men and women that are doing their job. If you try to stop them, I will know by tomorrow but if their investigation persists, I will know that you agreed to my terms."
"Leave now, I have much to think about." She didn't look him in the eye staring into space with deep expression in her face.
Samuel knew she had a long list of things she needed to take care of and him and his family was at the bottom of that list.
He only hoped that she wouldn't lose hope and chose to forgive them out of mercy but he knew it was a possibility he couldn't ignore.
Either way, he was sure she would pull back her forces, after which the Greens fate would be sealed.
He just needed to do one last thing, one last person and tell him to his face why he destiryihis family. It was petty but it would bring him great satisfaction, something he needed to put his mind off Talia.
