House of The Dragon-A God Amongst Men-Chapter 118: The Storm IV
Chapter 118 - The Storm IV
(Third Person POV)
After days of pure tempest, Sunspear was finally hit with a massive storm. The Storm Goddess, Ammaria, was heard roaring throughout the sky as twisters ravaged the sandy land. The downpour was so powerful that it flooded the majority of the area, the winds were so rough that they chipped away the stone of the castle.
The Martells could not believe that such a storm was capable of forming, it was a scene from the end of days to them. The sky was pitch black, bright flashes of light illuminating it as lightning struck the ground savagely, causing explosions that resulted in massive structures of fulgurite.
To say that the people of Sunspear were scared was an understatement; it was a week after Drakken and the Duskguard had descended upon Dorne, and the devastation left behind by Ammaria was great.
The Martells were forced to be holed up in their castle, which was slowly but surely being destroyed by the Tempest. They could hear the roaring of the massive beast as it was flying high above Sunspear; its roaring calling upon lightning bolts that struck the castle at random intervals.
It is unknown how many people fell victim to the storms caused, but Drakken showed no care. Those who survived were assaulted by the Duskguard and were shown the might of the God of War and Death.
Oren Martell's sister, Elia, was right. This was punishment for Oren's constant harassing and a lesson that was being given to him.
Now, The Martells had one of two choices; to succumb to their fates, or beg for their lives.
Elia Martell did not plan on begging for her life. In fact, she had one trick up her sleeve.

Drakken stood in the courtyard of Sunspear as the tempest slowly died down. Ammaria could be heard roaring in the sky, her massive body being concealed by the pitch-black clouds.
He looked around, "So this is Sunspear?" He said, "Not impressed....maybe I should visit when its nice and sunny...."
He then noticed that someone was peeking over the corner of the entrance to the castle. He looked over and noticed it was a young girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
He raised his eyebrow, "Hm...."
The girl made eye contact with him and immediately pulled back, trying to hide from sight. She began to pant heavily, shaken up by the sight of Drakken.
"What are you doing?" Drakken suddenly said as he stood behind her
"Ah!" She cried out in fear as she jumped up
"Hehe...." Drakken said with a smirk, "What is with you?"
The girl stepped away and tripped, falling on her behind as she looked up at Drakken, "Don't kill me!"
"That is up to your Prince." Drakken said as he placed his hands in his pockets, "Go and fetch him. Tell him that the Duskguard have laid siege to Sunspear. And well, it will not last long....for I am inside your walls.....and The Storm God is above in the skies..."
"Well well..." a voice said
Drakken turned to see Elia Martell walking up to him, "Hm?"
"I noticed that the storm had eased up....but I never imagined an even worse fate has fallen upon our castle...." Elia said as she reached Drakken, "Tyene, dear....go and fetch our brother..."
Tyene nodded and stood up, "My brother will have you killed!" She exclaimed before scurrying away
Drakken didn't pay any mind to Tyene, merely stared at Elia who was giving him a slight smile.
"And you are?" He said as he scanned the dornish woman up and down
"Elia Martell, the Prince's younger sister." Elia said
Drakken saw her outfit; a nice golden yellow dress that had orange stitching, the Martell sigil on top of the left breast. He saw that her hair was combed straight and draped over her exposed shoulders. He did not want nor care to admit that Elia's body was similar to that of Mya's and it intrigued him.
"A Princess, hm?" Drakken said with a smirk, "What, will you beg for your House's safety?"
"No." She said, "You can destroy my brother for all I care."
"Is that so?" Drakken asked
"You brought for a calamity like Dorne has not seen." She said with a smile, "Something not even the Targaryens were capable of doing. For years, The Conqueror and his dragons had sacked our homes, our people, our cities....and we did not bend...we did not break....."
"Hm...." Drakken said, "Balerion came here?"
"At one point, yes...." She said, "Even Queen Visenya's dragon, Vhagar was once a common sight in Dorne...breathing flames upon the land...."
"Oh, that one." Drakken said with a chuckle, "I just killed that one."
Elia looked at him with surprise, "Is that so?" She asked, "Impressive."
Drakken walked up to her, his imposing figure causing Elia to step back in caution, despite her carefree demeanor.
"It was nothing to me." Drakken said, "Just like your brother is but a worm to me. Need I remind you what you are before. I am no man...and the being in the skies is no mere dragon."
"I...I see...." Elia said
"You want me to destroy your brother?" Drakken asked as thunder boomed outside, "I might do that. I will leave not just your House crippled, but the entirety of Dorne. And starting today, I will have my Duskguard constantly sack the cities of this Desert hellhole.....as long as I desire..."
"You are willing to go that far?" Elia asked him
"Indeed." Drakken responded as he pulled away, "The only way to avoid it or stop it is by you lot bending the knees to the Targaryens.."
"So that is it...." Elia said, "You are conquering us in the stead of Jaehaerys.....a god? Doing the bidding of a man...."
"No, of course not." Drakken said before looking at her, "I am simply-Ah, I can see why you would say that. I must admit, you are a shrewd one. You intend to rile me up by scratching my ego with your claws? I care not for Jaehaerys. I killed his son's dragon, left him stranded in your land....do you truly think I do this for the King?"
"That is what it looks like." Elia said
Drakken snapped his fingers and Elia was suddenly pulled towards him via his telekinesis. He turned around to look right into her eyes as she was looking at him with a shocked expression. She was forced to her knees and held in place, her hands behind her back as Drakken leaned down menacingly
"You are but a girl...a stupid little girl...." Drakken said seriously, "You do not know of my intentions. What would you know?"
"I know that the reason it has come to this was because my brother did not stop pestering you." Elia started, "And that you mentioned a potential deal with us....to set aside a worthy womb for a child of yours should House Martell be in alliance to you...."
"That was just me telling your bastard cousin Drey to fuck off." Drakken said
"But you are still interested?" Elia asked, "Here is your worthy womb, Lord Drakken....."
"In return, you want what?" Drakken asked
"Spare my land...my people...." Elia said as she struggled to break free of the hold
"Not your family?" Drakken asked her again
"M-My sister, Tyene....she is all I care about...." Elia said, "Do with my brother as you wish...."
Drakken straightened up, "I did plan on setting a weapon free in Dorne.....with time....everything takes time, of course." He said as he turned around and paced back and forth, "A mighty god that your people would come to worship.....similar to my Ammaria up there...."
"I-Is that so?" Elia said

Drakken stopped and looked at her, "You mean this?"
Elia nodded, "Yes....for the sake of my people....." She said, "I would do anything...."
"Hm..." Drakken said, "Interesting..."
"I will consider it."
