How to Tame a Villain Character-Chapter 40: Another Rules
Chapter 40: Chapter 40: Another Rules
The three questions Claudia wanted to ask were finally all answered. Listening to Harry’s story, Claudia didn’t suspect anything, but instead became even prouder because Harry’s movements had managed to save her and Clarissa’s lives. When Harry turned off the hairdryer, Claudia lowered her head and let out happy tears wet her eyelids.
Harry also looked at his wife with pity. Slowly squat down while wiping the tears with your thumbs. In his heart he wanted to say that he was actually afraid of losing someone who had always defended him all this time. It was hard to imagine that if this beautiful woman left him, he would not be able to live in peace.
"You’re crying. Because it’s sad to hear my story?"
Claudia immediately hugged Harry’s body tightly. For some reason, Harry’s heroic actions today made him unable to hate Harry even more.
"I am happy. I am relieved and grateful to have a husband who is very caring and sensitive."
"Isn’t that what you experience every day?"
"But, what I experienced today was many times happier. Because thanks to you, I am still alive today."
Relying on his strong arms, Harry lifted Claudia’s body towards the bed. Then lay their bodies together while covering their bodies until they cover their necks.
The first time he saw his wife’s smile more beautiful than usual, Harry smiled too. His right hand stroked the soft cheek in front of him, then pressed his lips to her nose for a few seconds.
Claudia’s reaction when she received sweet food from her husband made her eyes widen. She could feel what Harry was doing right now as if he was afraid of losing her. Did this sweet intake mean that Harry was starting to fall in love with her?
"Claudia, that’s what I’m really afraid of. I am afraid of losing you."
"You mean... you’re afraid of losing the woman you really love? Have you fallen in love with me?"
Harry locked his lips tightly again. Talking about love, he has never expressed love for any woman. Even with his ex-girlfriend in the past, his lips were very reluctant to say the word love other than his biological mother.
"I... just don’t want to lose you. I don’t have anyone to sleep with if your life is really lost."
"That’s why, as long as I’m still alive, I want to get to know you better. Don’t treat me as if I’m invisible."
Actually, Claudia wanted to dig up more information about Carlos and Harris’ relationship. Even though she had read about it in the novel’s storyline, it was never shown openly that their relationship was quite close. This is all the result of Linnon focusing more on the romance storyline in this novel.
"You want me to spill the secret again?" Harry suddenly took the initiative to talk about it, making Claudia gasp.
"What do you want to tell me this time?"
"It seems you should know the friendship between Harris and Carlos. Actually, they have been friends since graduating from college."
"But why did Harris never say he was friends with Carlos?"
Harry shrugged. "I don’t know, until now I don’t know why he hid such a simple thing from you. "Could it be because Carlos threatened him too, considering there was one thing Carlos said that I didn’t understand?"
"Is it possible that Carlos hates me because of what I did in the past?"
"What exactly did you do that made Carlos hate you so much?"
Claudia exhaled weakly. "Until now I didn’t know either. Even though all this time I never talked to him either. I only know him from Clarissa."
"Okay, I won’t force you to remember. Besides, I want to rest. It’s very tiring taking care of the Ainsworth family which is very chaotic these days."

In the middle of a beautiful dream world, Claudia was suddenly dragged into the server room of this novel. She widened her eyes and looked around, looking for the whereabouts of her husband who had last slept beside her.
For a moment, her eyes looked at a rule that shocked her.
"Warning! The novel’s storyline has been changed by strangers. Especially the main antagonist who starts acting according to his own wishes."
Claudia didn’t understand the meaning of the server warning. What she felt since living in the world of novels, she felt that what Harry did was nothing. Although recently Harry’s attitude had started to soften.
"What would happen if Harry acted according to his own wishes?" she grumbled.
"A side effect is that the main protagonist’s memories will get mixed up with the memories of strangers who are not from the world of the novel."
It’s gonna be crazy reading this ridiculous warning. However, when she thought about it, Claudia felt that Harry’s personality was getting softer and softer, both in front of her and other people. Was it because she succeeded in making Harry act against the wishes of the novel writer?
*****
"Claudia!"
Listening to the sound of her husband’s screams, Claudia opened her eyes wide. Seeing her husband’s eyes very worried, Claudia wondered whether that expression came from Harry’s own desire or whether it was Linnon’s design. Did he really succeed in freeing Harry from Linnon’s desire to make Harry an evil character? Actually, Claudia is still very curious about why Linnon is so obsessed with making Harry’s character a bad person at all costs. However, when seen directly, Harry was not as bad as he imagined.
Her soft cheeks are full of cold sweat and was wiped with a small towel by Harry. Her body felt difficult to move due to the awkwardness of receiving sudden special treatment from Harry unlike usual.
"Did you have a nightmare?" Harry asked worriedly.
Claudia nodded.
Harry spontaneously hugged his wife’s body lovingly while landing his lips on the top of her head. "You must have had a nightmare because of what happened this morning which still scares you."
Claudia was having more and more difficulty moving her body. Once again, she was enchanted by the sweet treatment Harry treated her. However, this time whether Harry had really fallen in love or not seeing Harry’s current behavior was too much for Claudia. Even Claudia felt that what Harry was doing now was more sincere than Harris’ treatment of Claudia in the original storyline.
