HPxLOTM: A Wizard's Path to Divinity-Chapter 714: The Outbreak of the Divine War
"Mm. Next, you just focus on properly acting out your advancement."
Although he said this aloud, Edward was sighing inwardly—there probably wasn’t much time left for Klein.
As he spoke, he turned toward the Chief, Colin. "Chief Colin, I need to make a trip to the bottom of the City of Silver’s Round Tower."
Colin was somewhat surprised. "The bottom of the Round Tower is used to detain residents and warriors who show signs of losing control. Why would you be going there...?"
"You should remember, several decades ago, the former exploration team captain who was imprisoned at the bottom of the Round Tower, correct?"
Colin immediately understood. He nodded and said, "In truth, we’ve always known there was something wrong with him. But after all these years, he’s never exposed any information."
Edward replied calmly, "Chief, you should simply follow Mr. World’s instructions and begin preparing to leave as soon as possible. Leave him to me."
"Many thanks, sir."
"Then, I’ll see you all outside."
With a wave of his hand, Edward vanished together with Lilith. When they reappeared, they were already in the gloomy, oppressive corridor at the bottom of the Round Tower. The place was deathly silent, as though no living beings remained.
Of course, that was because Edward had concealed the presence of the two of them. Otherwise, the prisoners on the verge of losing control would have immediately begun screaming and calling for help.
"This is the one."
The two of them passed straight through the metal wall and entered a cramped room. It was extremely bare. Aside from a single candle flickering with a dim yellow light, there was only a simple low bed, a chair, and a square table—nothing else.
The surrounding walls, including the door, were carved with complex and mysterious symbols and markings. They appeared to form a complete sealing array. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
A figure was curled up in the corner of the low bed, seemingly fast asleep.
Lilith shaped her hand into a stick and poked the man in the backside.
"Hey, Amon. Wake up."
After a brief silence, the figure in the corner let out a wail of grievance. "I’ve been behaving myself and staying put—why are you still coming to look for me?!"
"Believing that Amon will behave is less reliable than believing the Outer Deities won’t invade."
Amon choked. "Uh...I’ll take that as a compliment."
After a pause, he said, "Before I die, I just want to know one thing. Has the main body...really died?"
Edward answered simply, "No."
"Oh, then that’s good."
In an instant, the figure transformed into a mass of black mist and dispersed, leaving only Amon’s voice echoing in the room, "Who would honestly sit around waiting to die?! Just you wait!"
Edward snapped his fingers.
The momentum of the black mist twisted violently, reversed, and flowed back along its original path, reforming into Amon’s shape.
"Fuck—where did you even record so many Sequence 0 abilities?! Wait, wait, we can talk this out, I—"
Before he could finish speaking, Edward twisted him into a lump and casually tossed him into the space where the other Amons were imprisoned.
Edward stretched lazily and sighed. "I hope Amon can be properly reformed at Hogwarts, and through that, influence all of his avatars—becoming a brand-new Amon with ideals, ambition, humanity, emotions...and love."
Lilith curled her lips in disdain.
"Heh."

Meanwhile, in the Harry Potter world.
On the very next day, Amon welcomed his first class at Hogwarts: Potions.
After confusing porcupine quills with hedgehog spines and producing a pot of foul-smelling sludge, Snape practically enlarged his face and shoved it right up to Amon’s, spraying venom at point-blank range:
"Mr. Amon!!! I truly cannot believe that Edward would send a moron like this to Hogwarts. I never imagined that there could be a fool in this world even more idiotic than Longbottom! What exactly are those two eyeballs on your face for? Decoration?! Can’t you tell the difference between two materials that are this far apart?!"
"Look at the fine mess you’ve made. The sheer stench of stupidity emanating from this failed concoction is enough to make even an Inferius sink back into the Black Lake in shame. What—did you confuse the brewing instructions with a troll’s tap-dancing score?"
"Given that your actions just now have proven the existence of negative intelligence in the magical world, perhaps we should test whether your underdeveloped little brain can muster a survival instinct even marginally superior to that of a paramecium while cleaning Flobberworm mucus."
"What are you staring at me for? Do I have the answers written on my face?! Why aren’t you moving?! Why are you lowering your head? Didn’t you hear me speaking to you?! If you make another mistake this elementary, you’ll be scrubbing toilets for an entire month!"
Amon: "..."
Very good. So there really was someone in this world even more detestable than Edward. Just you wait. Once I learn magic, I’ll jam a toilet over your head, have a troll tap-dance on your body, and stuff Flobberworms into your mouth!
After Snape finally stalked off, Neville, who was standing nearby, gently bumped Amon with his shoulder. Wearing an expression of deep empathy, he spoke in the slightly embarrassed tone of a senior student:
"Amon, don’t take Professor Snape’s words to heart. Don’t worry—I’ll teach you."
"..."
Heh.
Wow. Thanks. Truly. Thanks to your entire family.

With Klein now possessing the strength of Sequence 3, once he had pulled out Edward’s historical projection, the problem of relocating several thousand residents of the City of Silver was no longer a problem at all. While everyone was busy packing their belongings along the way, he even had the historical projection take him on a trip to Moon City.
Because Edward had visited before, and after Klein explained his purpose, he received an enthusiastic welcome from the people of Moon City. Looking at those residents—many of whom had deformities to varying degrees due to long-term ’diet’ of monsters—Klein felt a heavy weight settle in his heart as he solemnly announced the good news that they would soon be leaving this place.
At the same time, he began pondering whether there was any way he could help these pitiable people.
Just then, another wave of prayers reached Klein’s ears. Only then did he recall that when he had been captured by Amon, he seemed to have heard prayers as well—he had simply been too busy afterwards. Busy with City of Silver, busy with Moon City...and he had actually forgotten about it.
"Damn it, please don’t let this be something important."
Klein hurriedly said to the Grand Elder of Moon City, "May I ask where the washroom is—"
The moment he mentioned a washroom, he immediately thought of how Roselle had once referred to Sefirah Castle as his divine kingdom. Klein promptly changed his words, "Is there an empty room?"
"Please follow me, Your Excellency."
The Grand Elder quickly led Klein to a quiet room. Klein took four steps backwards in rapid succession, entered Sefirah Castle, and sat down on the bronze chair. Deep within the grey fog before him, the crimson star symbolising Leonard was flickering.
As Klein let his spirituality spread outward, Leonard’s figure emerged. With reddened eyes, Leonard spoke anxiously, "Mr. Fool! Amon came earlier—He...He took the old man away! Please, please help me save him. I’m willing to offer you my life and my soul!"
Klein’s expression changed immediately. Of course, he knew that the old man within Leonard—Old Mr. Pallez Zoroast—was a Sequence 1 of the Marauder Pathway, the final "piece of the puzzle" Amon needed to advance to godhood.
So...had Amon already succeeded?
As Klein was thinking, Leonard’s second segment of prayer imagery "automatically played." Leonard seemed to have let out a breath of relief as he said, "Thank you for intervening, Mr. Fool. Although the old man lost his Sequence 1 Beyonder characteristic, he managed to survive in the end. Thank you, Mr. Fool!"
Klein scratched his head, feeling somewhat confused.
Old man Pallez was fine—then why were you thanking me? When you were being attacked by Amon, Mr. Fool himself was also being toyed with by Amon like a plaything.
Leonard continued, "Oh, right. The old man also asked me to tell you that he just sensed Amon has already completed His advancement and become a true god of Sequence 0. He specifically told me to remind you, Mr. Fool, to be extremely careful."
"!"
Klein was instantly stunned.
Amon had advanced to Sequence 0?
B-but hadn’t Edward said he had already dealt with Him?
Had Edward been deceived by Amon?
Or...was it that even a Sequence 0 Amon was no match for Edward?
That was far too outrageous.
Without thinking further, Klein immediately infused spirituality into Edward’s crimson star, synchronising the news of Amon’s advancement and seeking confirmation.
Very quickly, he received Edward’s affirmative reply, "That’s right. Amon did indeed advance to Sequence 0. But it’s also true that He fell into my hands. It’s not that my strength truly surpassed that of a true god—it’s that I possess a certain powerful sealed artifact and took advantage of a moment when Amon wasn’t paying attention."
"..."
What kind of sealed artifact could possibly ambush a god like that?
Klein rubbed his temples and pondered for a long while. In the end, he let out yet another sigh of admiration toward a "cheat" and calmly replied to Leonard, "Mm. As long as he’s alive, that’s fine."
"Tell Pallez that Amon has already been dealt with."
———
Backlund.
Not long after Leonard finished his prayer, endless grey fog flooded his vision. Mr. Fool sat high above within the fog and said in a flat tone:
"Tell Pallez that Amon has already been dealt with."
Huh?
"Wait—what?!!!"
Leonard’s eyes widened in shock.
Sensing the violent fluctuation in his emotions, Pallez asked in a somewhat weakened voice, "What is it? What did the Fool say to you?"
Leonard stammered, "H-He said...He said that Amon has already been dealt with."
"..."
Pallez fell into silence at once. After a long moment, he asked, "Think carefully. The Fool you just saw—was He wearing a monocle over His right eye?"
"Ah?"
"...Forget it."
Expecting anything from this idiot was unrealistic. Pallez let out a sigh, silently hoping that he was simply overthinking things.

Over the next few days, the war between Loen, Feysac, and Feynapotter suddenly entered a "peculiar" state after the massive collapse of the Loenese army.
It gradually broke away from the domain of ordinary people and conventional armies, evolving into a war fought between the Church of the Evernight Goddess, the Church of the God of Combat, and the Church of the Earth Mother—a clash between Beyonders.
And this was precisely the truth hidden at the very core of the war: a life-and-death confrontation involving multiple gods.
When the Saints and Angels of the Church of the Evernight Goddess were once again repelled under the combined assault of the Church of the God of Combat and the Church of the Earth Mother—suffering grievous losses—it officially signified that the Church of the Evernight Goddess’s missionary territory had been further compressed.
The anchors of the Evernight Goddess were reduced on a massive scale. This was undoubtedly a heavy blow to Her, especially while She was devoting all Her focus to fusing with the authority of Death.
Thus, another battle—unknown to the world—was about to begin.
In the Astral World, within a tranquil and dark divine kingdom filled with moonflowers and night vanillas, streaks of orange-red light carrying the power of decay invaded. Portions of the land reverted to twilight, as blossoms and grasses withered one after another, approaching their end.
From within the twilight, a colossal figure as vast as a mountain emerged. Its limbs were grotesquely elongated, and it wore silver armour steeped in ruin. Its face was concealed behind a visor, revealing only a hazy mass of orange-red light. In its hands, it carried an exaggeratedly long sword.
With each step forward, the blade dragged through the darkness, splitting the ground and freezing twilight in place.
Moments later, from the depths of the darkness, another equally massive figure floated forth, dragging an enormous, elongated scythe. It wore a layered yet unadorned pitch-black gown, adorned with countless points of brilliance, like stars embedded in the night sky.
From its ribs and waist, two additional arms grew on each side, their surfaces covered in short, jet-black fur. Its six hands each held different objects: black scythes, the moon, stars, and other celestial objects.
At the instant these two figures collided in a world-shaking clash, a third giant figure appeared—also as vast as a mountain. She was full-bodied, her skirts billowing, cradling a phantom infant in her arms. Half-floating and half-flying, the female figure approached the humanoid demonic wolf dragging the pitch-black scythe.
In the next moment, the battle between the three gods erupted in full.
