Hubby's Deep Love Will Never Change-Chapter 1450: What If Ye Yang Were Your Dad? (Part 3)
Since Song Jiaqi placed herself in a low position, she didn’t regard herself as a superstar after joining the program team. She treated all the artists involved in this shoot, including Lu’er, as seniors. As for the makeup, she didn’t compete for it but instead chatted with the staff who were idle.
A large part of the reason is that these staff members were her former colleagues. Seeing them made her feel a sense of closeness, without any feeling of distance, just like with Xiaoxi, she treated them entirely as old friends.
She also knew Coco, who had been working at the TV station for more than half a year. When she first joined the TV station, she interned with Song Jiaqi for a while, so their relationship was pretty good. Coco was originally a straightforward and outgoing little girl.
"Sister, I still think you are much better," Coco pouted and said.
"What’s wrong? Did you feel wronged by Lu’er?"
She had just seen that Coco’s last makeup subject was Lu’er.
"It’s not that I was wronged... She’s not famous yet and hasn’t reached the point where she can act like a big shot. Her aura is borrowed from Ye Yang’s, and she doesn’t have much ability herself."
"Don’t judge by appearances. Speaking of which, she does have quite a bit of talent."
"What talent? Isn’t it just relying on a strong background? Without it, could she climb up so quickly? Having a powerful dad is really nice... unlike us, who have to start from the bottom because we don’t have such a good dad. Of course, I’m not complaining, just saying. They, the rich second generation, have a backing, so even if they can’t make it, they have family to help. We just have to work harder."
She knew Coco was a particularly hardworking girl, and modern young people often complain about the same thing.
But Song Jiaqi wasn’t like this. She liked a saying: "Since I have come, I might as well settle in."
Although Coco was not blaming circumstances, Song Jiaqi felt they shouldn’t envy what others have.
Everyone has their own life, so why envy others?
On the flip side, how many people feel life is meaningless, yet their lives seem great to others?
Pursuits are different, so the definition of happiness and joy is different. She didn’t want to put too much pressure on herself.
At this stage, having Xiaoxi and being satisfied in terms of food, clothing, shelter, and transportation is enough.
"So I think..." Coco concluded her final words, smiled at her, and said, "Sister Jiaqi, I think you and Ye Yang are even more compatible than Lu’er and Ye Yang!"
Song Jiaqi quickly covered her mouth, glanced at Lu’er, who wasn’t too far away, and whispered, "Didn’t I teach you not to gossip behind people’s backs? What kind of place is this that you think you can just say whatever you want? If someone with intent hears it and embellishes it, what are you going to do? Besides, the person involved is still present, don’t you want to work properly?"
She didn’t understand Lu’er, though she always felt it wouldn’t be that exaggerated. But if she heard such provocative words, anyone with a competitive spirit wouldn’t let it go, right?
No father wants his daughter to be bullied. Given her father’s status, it would still be easy to kick Coco, this little makeup artist, out of the TV station. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Song Jiaqi just didn’t want her to get hurt.
Coco looked around and saw that there weren’t any other people around, smiled awkwardly, and said, "I was just speaking quickly. But Sister Jiaqi, I really mean it, I think you two really match."
