I Am The Only Witch Hunter-Chapter 337: Boss Fight Advertisement
The Walker spread his broad palm over the ground. Shadow leaked down from its skin like oil.
The animal bodies around the well were covered with those thick substances. It enveloped the corpses and quickly raised them back from the dead.
They were resurrected. Not as what they were. But as abominable monsters of the shadow.
The Silver Hawk appeared behind Siderius as he grabbed its handle. "I leave the small prey to you, Bas."
Bas grinned widely, he raised the machete high, along the level of his chest. "Leave them to me, white hair. You deal with that deer."
Bas once thought they were on the same level. He was even stronger than Siderius a little bit. But that was no longer the case. In the brief few months since the last time, Siderius had reached a level he could never imagine. He was a crude man but he knew the only way to get out of this was to assist Siderius with all he could.
"Yee-haw!" Bas shouted and jumped into the crowd of shadow creatures.
"I will assist him, Master." Ashe cocked the crossbow.
Siderius nodded, "Stay safe."
The witch hunter took a deep breath. He activated his Explosive Speed and Impact at the same time, moving strength to his legs, allowing him to reach an absurd level of speed.
Siderius bolted through the wave of shadow animals and got close to the Dreamless Walker.
"You're very brave, human."
The Walker swiped his hand on the ground. Siderius jumped over it and rolled in the air. His blade slashed over the dark skin of the Walker. Black smoke shot out instead of blood.
"You know us, human?"
The Walker said.
Siderius smirked but didn't answer. "I have faced your kind many times, Walker. Maybe you have heard of me."
The witch hunter rotated the Silver Hawk and held it in an ice pick grip. The Transformation Seal lit up and changed the silver sword into a long throwing spear. With his power, Siderius launched the transformed Silver Hawk toward the Walker.
The Walker's head split before Siderius' Silver Hawk was able to touch it. The silver spear went through the gap it just made.
"These simple attacks won't be able to harm me, human." The Walker said. His head returned to normal.
"Heh." Siderius opened his palm, recalling the Silver Hawk.
The silver spear turned its head and shot backwards, piercing through the back of the Walker's head before being caught by Siderius.
The Walker leaned to the side and grabbed his head. It was hurt but it quickly healed back.
"Impressive. If you have faced us before, you shouldn't be nameless. Who are you, human? We don't have a grudge against a white hair warrior."
Siderius didn't answer. He approached the Walker again and thrusted at its belly.
The Walker covered himself while slamming the other fist onto the ground. Siderius held the fist up with one hand. A shockwave spread out because of the collision between the two.
The Walker couldn't push down further. Siderius used that chance to cut down the fingers of the covered hand. A few fingers fell to the ground.
The Walker lifted his fist again and this time used more power to slam down. Siderius already jumped back and evaded.
The fist hit the ground heavily, creating a hole on the ground.
"You are too strong for a human. What are you, white hair? A Holy Knight? A Warlock?"
"You talk too much."
Siderius grabbed a few rocks on the ground. He threw it at the Walker's face. They flew in a curve, hitting the Walker before crushing into a cloud of gray.
"Don't kid me with this child play!"
The Walker arched backwards and it screamed. A dark shockwave spread and pushed everything around it backward.
Siderius quickly retreated and hid behind a tree. Once the shockwave passed, he ran along the body of the tree to the branch and quickly dashed around the trees.
Once he found a good spot, Siderius exposed himself and rushed toward the Walker. He jumped to it.
The Walker snapped its head toward him. The deer's mouth opened up and aimed at him.
"Die!"
A beam of purple shot out from its throat and went straight to Siderius.
The witch hunter twisted his body in the air, dodging the beam while falling upon the Walker. He landed on its shoulder.
"You creatures of shadow are still as stupid as ever." Siderius plunged the Silver Hawk into the Walker's throat, interrupting its purple beam.
He jumped back immediately.
The purple energy built up in the creature's throat. It became larger and larger, creating a large bulge.
The Walker swirled its hand in panic. It tried to grab the Silver Hawk but its big hands were having difficulty getting a grasp on the small human-sized sword.
Then its throat exploded with purple energy. Its head turned into a blooming dark flower while white blood splashed to the air and rained down like snow.
Siderius opened his hand and recalled the Silver Hawk back. Strong Steel was as trustworthy as ever. The silver sword was still as shiny as ever.
Siderius rushed at the Walker and plunged into its belly. The Walker lost its vision temporarily and tried to stop Siderius from attacking its belly. Its hands swiped blindly onto the ground.
The Dreamless Walker knew exactly what this small man was trying to do. He's trying to carve its Nether Core out. It couldn't let him do that.
Siderius was too fast for it to catch. It swiped at nothing and could only feel more and more cuts on its belly.
In the end, it covered its belly entirely with its two hands.
Its blooming head slowly regenerated and formed an open mouth with countless teeth. The mouth aimed to the ground and released an even larger beam than before, swiping the entire ground beneath it.
Its effort worked. The attack from Siderius had stopped as he was forced to retreat backwards, evading the beam.
The head of the Dreamless Walker regenerated completely. It was now able to see again.
Siderius raised his sword and rested it on his other forearms, the tip pointing at the Walker.
"I am no Holy Knight. Nor a Warlock. I am Satterblade." Siderius squinted his eyes.
The white eyes of the Dreamless Walker widened, "You are… the killer's descendant?"
