I Am The Only Witch Hunter-Chapter 368: A Hallow End
"Acetum Fino. Some people call it Brown Blood. The most dangerous poison to a reptile. As big as a dragon is, it is still just a beast."
Siderius said.
Erebus suddenly raised his wands and flicked it at the witch hunter. A faint green shield appeared around Siderius and blocked the Ice Shard.
The <Parave> Sigil hung slightly below Siderius' finger.
Outside, the Knights threw even more Acetum Fino Bombs at the Dragon. Now, it wasn't just its wing that was constricted. Its entire body was slowly frozen solid.
The blood of the dragon lost its color and slowly turned brown. The body of the dragon wasn't 'frozen' because its temperature was lowered. It was frozen because its blood and its muscle shut down and lost all of its oxygen.
That was the threat of Acetum Fino. For a human, Acetum Fino was nothing more than a mental medicine. But for reptiles, it was the most dangerous poison and neuro agent. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
The dragon opened its mouth and breathed out fire. The fire washed over the rectangular shields. The dragon fire slowly dimmed down as its chest was no longer able to produce heat.
"Charge!" Roland shouted as the Knights rushed closer to the dragon and vanquished it.
In the castle, Erebus began his attack on Siderius. He waved the wand in a circle. Suddenly, a large vortex of water washed over the hallway. He flicked his wand again and turned everything inside into a world of ice.
But Siderius was not there. He had disappeared. On his middle finger was the ring that the Outsider had given him. A ring with the sigil of teleportation.
Siderius appeared behind Erebus and grabbed the illuminating Silver Haw. He twisted the hilt before slamming it down at Erebus's back.
A golden beam lit up. It was similar to a miniature sun that completely blinded anyone nearby. The entire hallway was fried into non-existent. Rubbles and boulders fell down from the top of the castle.
Erebus didn't die. A side of his upper body was completely blown off because of Siderius' attack. Inside him was nothing. He had no organs nor blood nor skeleton. He only had blood. Long thin strips of broken blood that made his body.
Erebus waved his wand. His red blood turn dark and his skin turned pale. He quickly healed himself back up to normal. His eyes were completely black, similar to Siderius' Dark Owl Eyes.
"I have only seen a few third rank Hemomancer like you before. They all had very unique ways of dealing with blood."
The smoke dissipated, revealing Siderius standing on the spine of a slanted stone pillar.
"Some copied the way the vampire lived. Some made blood into toys and puppets. But I have to acknowledge. I haven't seen one as creative as you. You turned your entire body into blood." Siderius said.
Erebus took a deep breath. He opened his mouth and swallowed the wand. The wand was his soul. It was the true core of Erebus Hostinger. And now, he had fused it back to his body.
"Even without my dragon, you won't have a chance to win." Erebus said. "You are a weak rank-2 spirit swordsman."
Erebus was lying obviously. He had never seen such an attack from a spirit swordsman. Spirit swordsman was difficult to deal with. Their willpower negated most of the mental effects a witch could do. They could release sword beams such as Siderius but none that were as large and dense.
"Filthy cowardly witches!" Siderius said. "You have been playing gods for too long now. It's time for me to show the world your true colors. You're nothing more than a group of scared insects."
Siderius lowered his body.
"Explosive Impact. Explosive Speed. Will Enhancement. Dynamic Vision."
Everything slowed down. The rocks moved slowly through the air. The sound of the wind was lowered. Everything felt muddy.
Siderius moved through the air as Erebus' eyes widened.
"Speed beats everything." Siderius said.
Erebus raised his wand and widened his eyes. It was already too late. He was too slow.
Siderius' Silver Hawk lit up in gold once more. He swiped the blade horizontally. A sword fang painted the dark night.
From that moment on, the Dark Ice Coven of the Hallow Land was no more. From that moment on, this barony got rid of witches.
The remaining ones soon become deserters. They hid amongst the commoners and swore to never use their magic again. Because if they did, the White Witch Hunter would find them.
With the death of Erebus, the remaining witches in the castle couldn't hold on for long. They were quickly overwhelmed by Siderius' force.
Witchlings and Lesser Witches could not fight the effect of the Dimming Stones. They were soon killed in the battle or surrendered.
The slaves were free. Or at least what was left of them.
Siderius walked down the crowded hallway of prisoners. The witches knelt on the floor naked. Each with a Dimming Stone on their neck. Their heads were covered by black cloth.
"Raise your blade." Siderius whispered.
The Knights raised their blades.
"Execute."
Thirty heads fell to the ground. And they did it again. And again. And again. Until what was left of the coven was pool of blood and a pile of corpse.
The four apprentices were tasked to dispose the corpse and used the Dead Rite to prevent the corpse from being resurrected.
The other Noble Houses swiftly took control of the other areas and strongholds within the Hallow Land.
The Hallow Land was theirs.
Arlow Galland was putting on his clothes in the room. His belly was a little bit big.
"I'm too fat to wear these things now."
The morning light shined through the window and upon him. Things had been going great for Arlow lately. He had become the lords of two baronies. Sooner or later, he would be a count.
He came to the balcony of the room in his castle and looked down at the vast grey plain of his territory.
Arlow looked up to the blue sky and was waiting for a bird to come. A raven from the Dark Ice Coven. It should be here as it always did every morning.
"Something's wrong."
