Chapter 100 - SSS-Rank Dungeon Part XXII

As we moved deeper into the dungeon, the oppressive atmosphere hung thick around us. The air pulsed with the remnants of the abyssal energy I had unleashed, the stillness only broken by the faint echoes of our footsteps. The others followed quietly, a sense of hesitation lingering in the air.

But then, just as we entered a cavernous expanse filled with shadows, the familiar chime of the system notification rang in my ears.

We moved in silence for what seemed like an eternity, though the minutes passed in reality. The dungeon was vast, stretching out before us like an endless, shifting labyrinth. The further we went, the more oppressive the atmosphere became.

And then, ahead of us, the path began to widen. The tunnel opened up, revealing something beyond our comprehension.

The first thing we noticed was the sheer scale of it. The cavern stretched so wide and high that we couldn't see the ceiling—only endless shadows above us, swirling like a storm of dark clouds.

At the far end of the cavern, perched high above the ground, stood an enormous throne, an object of such ancient and unnatural design that even the dungeon itself seemed to recoil from it.

The throne was massive—at least thirty feet tall, with intricate designs etched into its surface, glowing faintly with an eerie light.

It was made from a material that seemed both foreign and familiar, a twisted amalgamation of abyssal crystal and obsidian, its surface alive with subtle, pulsing energy.

The throne sat in the center of an enormous platform, suspended over a yawning abyss. The ground around it was cracked, as if the very earth had been torn apart by the force of the throne's existence. An ancient power radiated from the throne, filling the air with a low hum, vibrating through our bones.

Raiden took a step forward, his voice low, but there was awe in it. "What is that? What's the purpose of this place?"

Gabriel was the next to speak, his voice edged with tension. "Is this the source of the dungeon? The throne of whatever power controls this place?"

Leon, ever the strategist, scanned the area carefully. "This... doesn't feel like a simple dungeon anymore. It feels like we're at the heart of something ancient. Something far more dangerous."
