I exhaled, my hand instinctively clenching into a fist.
I looked around my room. It was the same as before, yet I felt completely different standing within it. My senses were sharper, my awareness heightened.
It was almost unsettling how normal everything seemed. But the system had made one thing clear.
This wasn't the end of my evolution. This was just the beginning.
A grin crept onto my face. "Let's see what I can really do now."
***
The air around me felt heavy, charged with an invisible force that I could now perceive. The Abyss was no longer a distant entity—it was a part of me, woven into my very being.
I closed my status window and took a deep breath, grounding myself.
I needed to test this power.
I extended my hand forward, channeling the authority of the Abyss Monarch. The shadows in the room trembled, responding instantly to my will.
I focused on the Ruler of Abyss skill—my greatest ability yet.
With a single thought, I activated it.
[ Ruler of Abyss – Summon ]
Darkness surged outward, forming swirling vortexes of abyssal energy. The air distorted as figures began to emerge.
The first to step forward were my Elite Orcs, their forms materializing with greater clarity than before. Their armor gleamed ominously, their presence more pronounced.
Then came Shadow Fang, my abyssal familiar. Its fur bristled with an eerie black mist, its golden eyes glowing intensely.
But this time, there was something new.
The Abyssal Core within me pulsed, and the summoning didn't stop.
The vortex expanded, and from its depths... a new entity began to take shape.
The room darkened, as if the Abyss itself was manifesting something beyond my expectations.
***
[ System Alert! ]
The Abyss recognizes your authority.
A new Abyssal Servant has emerged.
***
A towering figure stepped forth—a knight clad in obsidian armor, its presence exuding sheer dominance. Its helmet concealed its face, and its gauntleted hand gripped a massive abyssal greatsword, pulsating with dark energy.
It kneeled before me, its voice resonating like an echo from the void.
"I heed your call, Abyss Monarch."

-
I stared at the knight in silence.
My voice came out firm, absolute. "Rise."
The knight obeyed, standing tall. My Elite Orcs and Shadow Fang did the same, awaiting further orders.
A smirk formed on my lips. "It was time to see just how far this power could take me."
***
A faint golden glow seeped through the curtains, casting soft streaks of light across my room.
I opened my eyes, exhaling slowly.
Unlike before, my body no longer felt exhausted or drained from the trials of the Temporal Labyrinth. Instead, there was a quiet power flowing through me—an undeniable connection to the Abyss that had settled deep in my core.
I sat up, rolling my shoulders.
A knock at my door pulled me from my thoughts.
"Oi, you up?" A deep voice behind the door
I exhaled and stood up, stretching before making my way to the door. When I opened it, he was already dressed in his usual hunter attire, arms crossed.
He squinted at me. "You look... different."
I kept my expression neutral. "In what way?"
"Dunno." He shrugged. "Maybe it's just me, but your presence feels heavier. Like you're more... serious?"
I gave him a slight smirk. "Maybe I'm just still exhausted from yesterday's shit."
He scoffed. "Yeah, yeah. Well, if you're done being all mysterious, get ready. We're heading out soon."
I raised an eyebrow. "Heading out where?"
Leon leaned against the doorframe. "Figured we'd do some dungeon runs today. You still need to rank up, right?"
I resisted the urge to smirk. Rank up? Leon had no idea that I had already jumped to A-Rank last day. He still thought I was the same as before.
"Sure," I replied casually. "Just let me get ready."
Leon nodded and turned away. "Meet me downstairs in ten."
As he walked off, I closed the door behind me.
A moment of silence filled the room before I looked at my status window once again.
I closed the status window.
The weight of my newfound power hadn't fully settled in yet. Just a day ago, I was struggling in a D-Rank dungeon. Now, I had evolved far beyond that.
The real question was—how much could I push this new power?
I clenched my fist, feeling the Abyss respond to my thoughts. A flicker of black mist curled around my fingers before fading.
A small smirk formed on my lips. "Today would be the perfect time to test it out." I muttered.
