Chapter 691: Chapter 445: Battle of the Gods!_2

The evil and filthy power of the Abyss seemed to climb upward along the grasp on the giant sword, and even the horrifying golden flames were gradually dimming.

Correlon, high above, had not anticipated that Demogorgon’s avatar possessed such enormous strength. Was he not bound by the restrictions of the Gaia Main World?

The constraints faced by an Abyss Evil God in the Main World should have been more terrifying than those for Him, the Elf Main God.

Regrettably, all the avatars Correlon left in the Elf Royal Court seemed to have been destroyed by Demogorgon; He was now utterly unable to descend as a Divine Incarnation.

The attack just now had seen Correlon use massive amounts of Divine Power, most of which was consumed in countering the world’s restrictions.

This was a loss-making affair for the vast majority of divine beings.

But the fury in Correlon’s heart made Him reluctant to think more, preparing to forcefully break through the world’s restrictions and unleash an even more powerful attack.

However, how would Demogorgon give Him that chance?

With a roar, the black arms behind Demogorgon, covered with fleshy tumors and eyes, seemed to receive some command, and began to wriggle wildly, releasing even more wicked Abyss Power. They surrounded the giant sword completely and ultimately devoured it.

The shattering of the giant sword unleashed a terrible shockwave that swept through the Elf Forest surrounding the Elf Royal Court. Mighty trees toppled, and dust filled the sky.

The Mystery Lock Barrier that enveloped the Elf Royal Court could no longer hold and, under the clash of Divine Level powers, completely shattered.

The once tranquil and peaceful visage of the Elf Royal Court vanished entirely, replaced by a sea of blood enveloping the Elf Royal Court that finally broke through the mist.

At the same time, in the eyes of Lis not too far away, aside from the sea of blood that spread throughout the Royal Court and the repulsive tumors spreading across the buildings, a terrifying pitch-black fissure abruptly appeared in the sky behind the golden tower of the Illiser family.

It was like the darkest secret of the world, silently tearing apart the boundaries between reality and the unknown, displaying its existence in a ferocious and wicked manner. It resembled a vast, insatiable maw, slowly devouring all light and warmth around it.

Lis, dodging the shockwave outside the Elf Royal Court, noticed this anomaly and exclaimed in surprise,

“Such a huge Demon’s Gate?”

Lis looked at the Abyssal fissure with some disbelief, as it was much larger than the one in Ice Peak City.

“When did it open?”

Lis felt somewhat chilled to the bone. No wonder Demogorgon could destroy the entire Elf Royal Court, no wonder he could exert such great power in the Gaia World!

The absence of any Abyss Demons emerging from the Demon’s Gate was, to Lis, not at all comforting.

It implied that all the Abyss Power emerging from the gate had been utilized by Demogorgon.

What exactly was Demogorgon planning, creating such a spectacle?

Demogorgon looked up to the heavens and said with a smile,

“Really, I didn’t want to go to all this trouble.”

Outside the Gaia World,

the golden giant, an incarnation of Correlon, gazed down grimly at Demogorgon floating above the Elf Royal Court and the Abyssal fissure within it.

Although Correlon could no longer foresee the future of the Gaia World, He had an ominous feeling that whatever Demogorgon had planned was very dangerous.

This was not good at all!

He prepared to intervene again, to destroy Demogorgon and that Abyss Gate, when suddenly an extremely terrifying attack came hurtling towards Him.

Correlon dodged swiftly, only to discover with surprise a horrifying and majestic figure appearing in the void.

Its body was massive and twisted, as if forged from the evil and pain that lurked in the deepest reaches of the Abyss. It had two hyena-like heads, a serpentine and elongated body covered with dark green scales, its upper limbs resembling the coiling tentacles of an octopus, and although its legs appeared slender, they were in fact incredibly powerful.

This was one of the true forms of Demogorgon, the very incarnation of the Abyss, synonymous with malice and terror. Its mere existence brought fear and despair to all beings, manifesting its regal and potent nature as a Demon Prince.

“Demogorgon, you dare to show yourself before me!”

Correlon exclaimed angrily, seeing it as the greatest of provocations.

It was rare for Demogorgon in its true form to leave the Endless Abyss, for, as the most powerful Abyss Evil God, its presence outside of the Abyss would attract the besieging forces of many Order True Gods.

However, the world was in an extremely special period now, a situation that had occurred twice before in Gaia World, each time resulting in the fall of numerous divine beings and the birth of new gods.

At such times, all the divine beings became even more cautious and careful, not launching an assault on Demogorgon unless absolutely certain of their ground.

Yet, the Demogorgon that appeared here seemed to lack wisdom as usual, not responding to Correlon and directly launching a furious assault on Him.

Demogorgon’s body was entwined with twisted shadows and fierce flames, each roar shattering the void, unleashing an evil power capable of engulfing worlds. Its eyes resembled two bottomless whirlpools, devouring all light surrounding them.

Seeing this, Correlon wasted no more words.

The mere presence of Demogorgon here had ignited all His wrath.

As Correlon made His move, the horns of battle sounded silently, cloaked in splendid green radiance, standing in the void like the incarnation of the Heart of Nature.

In His hand, He held the Radiant Sword, forged from the first light of dawn; its trembling tip alone was enough to make the surrounding void ripple with vibrant vitality, containing the secrets of all things blooming and withering.

He was the perfect fusion of Nature and Sun Power, His blazing brilliance lighting up the entire void, too intense to behold.

Simultaneously, many Elf Gods from all directions converged around Correlon, weaving a tight and holy net of natural divine power, seeking to bind Demogorgon.

However, even when faced with so many formidable elves, Demogorgon showed no trace of fear.

Wielding claws forged from despair and suffering, each strike came with deafening roars, fiercely clashing with the Elf Gods.

Outside Gaia World, the strength of both the Elf Gods and Demogorgon had no bounds.

The destructive surges unleashed at the point of their clash could even tear apart minor worlds attached to Gaia Main World.

Correlon, displaying His supreme divine might as the Elf Main God, lightly waved His Radiant Sword, and warm sunlight gushed from the tip, transforming into numerous green beams penetrating the evil and darkness that surrounded Demogorgon, striking directly at its core.

But as an Abyss Evil God, Demogorgon’s divine form was its most formidable aspect.

The terrifying Abyssal beast roared, its body surfacing with layers of black scales, as though capable of devouring all light and power.

Every counterattack it delivered was vicious, and the protections woven by the combined Elf Gods trembled under its onslaught.

Even so, Demogorgon was still unable to gain the upper hand. Correlon and the Elf Gods coordinated seamlessly, using their potent divine power to continuously weaken Demogorgon’s strength while looking for an opportunity to deliver a fatal blow.

In this battle that stretched beyond world boundaries, both sides displayed their most formidable powers, and the final verdict seemed far from being reached…

At this time, nearly all gods had turned their gaze here, awaiting the outcome of this divine battle.

Within Gaia World, Lis continued his journey towards the Elf Royal Court.

He was unaware that because of him, a divine war between Demogorgon and the Elf Gods had erupted outside the world.

Now, he had to seize this rare opportunity and hasten to the Elf Royal Court to rescue Cecil.

In his eyes, the Mystery Lock Barrier outside the Royal Court was gradually recovering, while new changes occurred at the Demon’s Gate standing within.
