I Attack 10,000x Times Stronger-Chapter 19: Learning Dual-Cast Skill
"Elements can also be comprehended once you grasp the underlying mystery of how they operate using DUST energy," Instructor Feinrier concluded, tapping his chalk against the board.
DONG!"
A massive, resonant bell rang out through the entire auditorium, signaling the end of the lecture.
Feinrier adjusted his red-tinted glasses and smiled thinly at the paralyzed sea of students. "Finally. You guys are boring anyway. Class is dismissed. You may take your leave."
He stepped away from the podium, but the students just eyed each other nervously. Not a single person dared to move a muscle.
Seeing this, Instructor Feinrier scoffed. "Spineless cowards."
With that, he picked up his ledger and casually exited the hall through the side door. The terrifying, suffocating aura of the Flaming Asura phantom vanished with him.
The exact moment the door clicked shut, absolute chaos ensued.
Every single student in the hall either collapsed to the floor or slumped heavily over their desks, utterly exhausted.
*Huff! Huff! Huff!*
Desperate, ragged panting echoed through the hall as though all 1,600 teenagers had just sprinted a marathon. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"T-That was terrifying," one student gasped, violently wiping the cold sweat from his forehead. His eyes were completely bloodshot from not blinking. Several others were still shivering so violently they couldn’t even form words.
Slowly but surely, their stamina began to return. But the sheer terror etched into their minds would not fade easily.
Instructor Feinrier’s strength was something they had never witnessed in their entire lives. They knew logically that such levels of power existed, but they hadn’t personally felt the crushing weight of it until today.
"With an aura like that, he has to be above Level 30," someone whispered in awe.
"Didn’t you see his divine phantom? He’s obviously a Godscion!"
"A Godscion in the Genetic Soldier realm... the Instructors at this Academy are true monsters," another boy said, his voice cracking.
"I don’t think he would have actually killed any of us," a haughty-looking girl huffed, trying to regain her composure. "We are the future pillars of the Academy. There’s no way the administration would let an Instructor harm us."
"Hehehe," a boy a few rows down snickered. "Weren’t you the one frantically adjusting your bra when the pressure hit? Why didn’t you cover up your exposed chest?"
"Y-You!" The girl’s face flushed crimson with a mix of utter shame and blazing anger. "How did you even see that?!"
The boy smiled smugly, tapping his temple. "With my Talent, of course. D-Rank: *Divine Sense*. I can see everything within a 100-meter radius, even with my eyes closed."
The young lady immediately lunged over the desk to punch him, but he had sensed it ahead of time and easily leaned back to dodge.
The scene enlivened the room slightly as the students slowly recovered, breaking into nervous banter and gossip.
Igris remained seated for a few extra minutes. He wasn’t panting. Instead, he was staring at a golden notification that had just popped up in his line of sight.
[ 10x Multiplier System Activated! ]
[ You have intensely listened to the teachings on ’Skill Manipulation’. ]
[ Ding! You have comprehended the passive skill: ’Dual-Skill Casting’. ]
[ Dual-Skill Casting ]
[ Effect: Multi-casting unlocked. You may now activate and channel two different techniques simultaneously without an overlap penalty. ]
Igris’s dual-colored eyes flashed brilliantly. He didn’t expect to actually comprehend a high-tier skill just from listening to a lecture!
If he had already unlocked his 10,000x Multiplier, he probably would have instantly mastered everything Feinrier had taught, including elemental mastery! But even so, this was a massive gain.
He could now activate two skills simultaneously without having to wait for the first one’s animation or energy cycle to finish. For example, he could execute a *Wind Slash* with his right hand and a *Heavy Chop* with his left at the exact same time. While a normal enemy was restricted to launching one attack, Igris could launch two.
And with his 10x Attack Multiplier amplifying *both* strikes? He would be absolutely invincible against anything below Level 7!
Grinning in excitement, Igris stood up. He noticed that Caleb had already left his seat, so he made his way out of the auditorium.
Outside the hall, the massive courtyard had turned into a chaotic marketplace.
"Just need one more! Hurry and join a top-tier team!"
"Healer needed! We’ll let you pick from the loot pool first!"
"Strong Tank in urgent need! We will buy you an Iron-Grade shield if you join us!"
Students were shouting at the top of their lungs. Feinrier’s threat of expulsion had terrified them, and everyone was desperately scrambling to form the required five-man teams for the Green Lizard Dungeon.
"Damn! Arian, Snow, and Ghordorn actually teamed up!" someone gossiped nearby. "Those are the strongest C-Rank Talents among us!"
"They’ll definitely take first place in the assignment. They’ve been receiving combat training since they were kids. They could probably clear the dungeon without even using their Talents."
"Shit! All the Top 20 Talents are grouping up together. They aren’t giving the rest of us a single chance!"
Igris walked through the noisy crowd, calmly pondering his options. He was technically required to form a team of five, but with his new Asura Bloodline, his Epic katana, and his insane speed... couldn’t he just solo the dungeon?
*With my current stats, even if I meet a boss, I should be able to run aw—no, retreat tactically,* Igris hummed, nodding to himself.
"Igris! Igris!"
A familiar voice broke through his thoughts. Igris turned and saw Caleb waving frantically from a distance.
Pushing through the sea of students, Igris walked over. Caleb was standing with three other people, forming a diverse, four-man party. There was one human male, a breathtakingly beautiful female Elf, and a pale, handsome Vampire.
Caleb smiled brightly, patting Igris on the shoulder. "Guys, this is my good friend, Igris."
Caleb then turned to Igris to introduce the group. "The human with the saber is Philip Malone. The Elf is Cindy Anderson, and the Vampire is Chuck Overton."
