I Awakened as an SSS-Rank System Maker!-Chapter 59 - A Weight That Meant Something
Chapter 59 - A Weight That Meant Something
Outside, a sea of spectators gathered from across the galaxy planets and races of every kind, all converging for this grand occasion. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation. Cameras began flashing, their lenses capturing every angle of the colossal event. Journalists shouted over one another, their voices brimming with excitement as they positioned themselves in their press zones. The tension, the gravity of what was about to unfold, hung in the air like a held breath.
Then, as if the universe paused for a heartbeat, the roar of the crowd rose.
Lucas stepped forward.
He stood tall, his figure framed in majesty and power against the backdrop of the shimmering palace. His black cloak billowed like the wings of a soaring raven, silver lines trailing down its length, reflecting the light with every movement. That cloak looked like something only rulers wore regal, a symbol of his new place in this universe. Beside him stood Darleen, calm and poised. Her crimson dress was striking.
Together, they stood upon a floating platform, suspended in midair, elevated slightly above the crowd that had assembled. Beneath them, at the center of the platform, a transparent orb slowly rotated. Inside the orb was a 3D map of the planet Lyria his planet gracefully spinning, its oceans and mountains subtly moving as if alive.
"This is Planet Lyria, GX-98," the announcer’s voice echoed above the noise of the crowd, deep and wild, reverberating throughout the arena. "A minor second-class planet, rich in water and magical resources."
The words rang through the air like tolling bells.
"And from this moment on... it belongs to Planet Tian... and to Lucas Arthur and Darleen!"
The crowd erupted into thunderous cheers, their voices merging into a roar of overwhelming approval. Brilliant lights burst from every direction, dazzling in their brilliance. Golden-pink petals rained from the sky, fluttering through the air like falling stars, covering the ground in a blanket of quiet, celestial beauty.
Lucas remained still, his gaze fixed on the floating orb, his mind distant from the celebrations swirling around him.
Darleen reached out with steady grace and grasped the planet’s key—a crystalline object glowing with an otherworldly light. Her fingers curled around it.
The crowd kept chanting his name, their voices rising in admiration.
And yet, Lucas felt as if something was missing something he couldn’t quite define. The weight of all this, of everything that had happened, was growing heavier with every passing moment. It was a strange feeling a blend of joy and dread that gnawed at his stomach.
Just as his thoughts were about to spiral, a system message suddenly cut through his mind. No words were spoken only messages appeared before him:
**Congratulations, Lucas Arthur.**
**You have officially been granted the title of Planet Owner.**
**Your reward will be delivered when the time is right.**
He whispered to himself, his voice quiet enough for only the stars to hear:
"I didn’t ask for power... but it came to me. I won’t waste it."
The air shifted, as if the universe had been holding its breath and now exhaled in a wave of tangible energy. The crowd continued chanting his name, their excitement undying, but two figures approached the official representatives of Planet Tian. It was Siman and his father the Supreme Governor of Planet Tian walking forward.
Lucas’s eyes lit up as he saw them approaching. He smiled faintly, despite the weight pressing on his chest.
"Siman! You sly fox, I knew you’d show up!" Lucas called, his voice rising above the noise.
Siman smiled, his expression full of pride and mischief. "Of course! How could I miss a moment like this?" He pounded his chest, his voice brimming with energy. "You’ve made Planet Tian number one among the sub-planets!"
Lucas’s smile widened a rare moment of levity. "You did it, Lucas... You flipped the galaxy’s rankings!" Siman continued, his tone heavy with admiration.
Then Siman’s father, the Supreme Governor of Planet Tian, stepped forward. His eyes, usually cold and calculating, held something else astonishment, perhaps, or respect. He looked at Lucas with a mixture of pride and disbelief.
"I didn’t expect to be here... Thank you," the dignified man’s voice wavered, deep and rich with the weight of years. "You’re young, but your actions have made the elders of other planets feel threatened."
He placed a heavy hand on Lucas’s shoulder, eyes focused and firm. "Thank you, son. Now I expect you to elevate Planet Lyria to first-class status! Hahaha!" His laughter was deep and thunderous, yet there was a sharp edge of expectation behind it.
Lucas bowed slightly in respect, a modest smile on his lips. "Haha... Thank you both. Without your support especially yours, Siman I wouldn’t have made it here."
He looked at Siman with a mixture of gratitude and understanding, his voice softening. "You nurtured my followers, believed in them, and gave us the opportunity... Thank you."
Siman raised an eyebrow, smirking playfully. "Don’t get sentimental now... You’ll ruin the moment of glory."
Laughter rippled through the group, perfectly breaking the tension. For a moment, it was as if the weight of the galaxy lifted, replaced by a sense of brotherhood and shared joy in this victory.
Then, without warning, Lucas’s voice grew serious again, his eyes narrowing in deep thought. "By the way... where’s Andre? I haven’t seen him since the start of the tournament."
Siman sighed dramatically, running a hand through his hair. "As I told you before... he’s always asleep. He’s still there, in our private palace on the floating island."
Lucas shook his head, a soft smile tugging at his lips. "Alright, I’ll go get him. I can’t move to a new planet without him."

An hour had passed since the coronation ceremony, yet the echoes of celebration still lingered in their minds, while the fading cheers of the crowd drifted into the background like distant whispers. Lucas, Darleen, and Andre stood on the planetary transfer platform. The ground beneath their feet was solid, but they felt as though they were hovering on the edge of something monumental.
Lucas’s fingers hovered near the activation button. A faint smile played on his lips, but his eyes carried something deeper an unspoken understanding of the weight of the moment. He looked at Darleen, who stood silently beside him. Her expression was unreadable, but her posture was firm. As for Andre, as usual, his eyes were closed lost in thought or perhaps in a deep slumber, as he so often was.
Lucas spoke in a quiet voice, as if the words were whispers meant only for the stars:
"I think we’re about to begin a new life."
Then he pressed the activation button decisively his hand steady, his heart strangely calm despite the gravity of the decision.
The blue light around them intensified, and the air shimmered with soft hums. Then, in a dazzling flash of azure light, they vanished leaving behind no trace on the platform, save for the fading echo of their departure that slowly dissolved into space.

The world of Lyria that welcomed them was nothing like what they had imagined.
Its beauty defied words, impossible to describe in full. The sky above them was a deep violet the kind of purple that hinted at galaxies far beyond their reach. The air was rich with the scent of thick forests and the salty tang of the sea that stretched far into the horizon. Mist flowed in gentle waves across the landscape, dancing over the green hills and vast fields, glowing with the energy of life.
Lucas’s boots sank slightly into the soft ground as he stepped forward, taking in the view. The nature before him felt unreal. Massive trees loomed above them, their trunks glowing with a subtle green light.
"So... this is the planet we won?" he murmured, his voice tinged with disbelief, as if he still couldn’t quite grasp what had happened.
Andre finally spoke, his voice as dry as ever, though there was a hint of curiosity beneath his tone:
"I think it’s... a bit more than expected, don’t you think? I was imagining something a little less... dramatic."
Darleen cast him a playful look.
"You’re never surprised by anything, are you, Andre?"
He shrugged, unmoved.
"No reason to be. I’m here because you two need me."
Lucas let out a soft chuckle the sound oddly out of place in such a surreal and wondrous setting.
"So, we’re all in this together."
His gaze lingered on the floating mountains in the distance, his mind spinning with possibilities. They could harness this planet’s energy. They could shape it into something greater—something to rival the most advanced civilizations in the galaxy. And yet, one question continued to haunt him—a question he couldn’t shake.
"How do we even begin?" he murmured, as if speaking to the planet itself.
