I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 487 Class representative
She leaned back slightly, a small laugh slipping out of her.
"Nowadays I am feeling much lighter and freer," she said, shaking her head. "Otherwise, the whole time I had to train with Fluffy."
Dante’s lips curved, a quiet chuckle leaving him as he nodded. "Yeah. We didn’t get much time for ourselves," he said calmly, though something softer lived under his tone. "Not to mention... it was painful to watch you struggle."
Alina didn’t answer that immediately. She just looked at him for a moment, then looked down, a small thoughtful expression crossing her face, like she was remembering how hard those days had really been. She folded her hands on her lap as he reached into one of his desk drawers and pulled out a small, dark-covered book, sliding it across the desk toward her.
"Well," he said, tapping the cover lightly, "Fluffy prepared this for you. Since you’re going to teach them about their powers, it will help. There are practice notes, species reactions, core stabilization basics, and early warning signs for overload."
Alina picked it up carefully, like it was something important, her fingers brushing over the cover before she opened the first page. Her eyes brightened almost instantly.
"And for practice," Dante continued, leaning back slightly in his chair, watching her reaction, "there is an empty training room near the Class D side. You can check their core responses there, slowly. No pressure. Just observation first."
She nodded seriously, already mentally planning how she would use it, how she would make learning safe and fun for them instead of scary.
"Thank you," she said softly, meaning it fully.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. The quiet between them wasn’t awkward. It was comfortable, like two people who had already learned how to exist beside each other without forcing words.
Then Alina closed the book gently and stood up, holding it close to her chest.
"I will start preparing from today," she said with a small determined smile.
Dante watched her like he always did when she spoke like that, like he was watching something rare but fragile, something strong in a very human way.
"Don’t overwork," he said automatically, though his voice was softer than usual.
She gave him a look that clearly said she would absolutely overwork anyway.
And when she turned to leave, he watched her go, his fingers tapping once against the wooden desk.

The classroom felt warm and busy in that familiar, comforting way, sunlight stretching across the floor while tiny chairs scraped and baby voices mixed into soft chaos. The moment Alina stepped inside, every head turned toward her, and then the noise doubled.
"Goooood morning, teacherrrrr!"
She couldn’t help smiling, that soft, helpless smile that always appeared around them. She set her attendance file on the desk and looked at each of them properly.
"Good morning, sweethearts," she said, her voice warm and natural.
She started attendance, calling names one by one, listening to their different replies. Drake was loud and proud. Boo added unnecessary sound effects to his own name. Luna answered like she was reporting for duty. Rocky was so soft she almost missed him. Felix sounded like he had just woken up five minutes ago. Vlad Jr. spoke like he was attending royal court.
When she finished, she closed the file and nodded, satisfied.
"Very good. Everyone is coming regularly. I’m proud of you," she said simply.
They straightened a little, clearly happy hearing that.
Drake immediately raised his hand, practically vibrating. "Teacher, are we playing games today too?"
She laughed quietly and shook her head. "Not today. Today I want to talk about something new."
That made them all pay attention.
"I’m thinking of choosing one class representative," she said, resting her hand lightly on the desk. "We didn’t choose one last term, but this time I want to."
Boo and Drake frowned together.
"What is that?" Boo asked.
Before Alina could answer, Vlad Jr. spoke smoothly, sitting straighter in his chair.
"A class representative is someone who helps the teacher," he said. "They help keep things organized, help classmates if needed, and sometimes speak on behalf of the class."
Drake blinked. Boo tilted his head.
"So like a teacher’s helper?" Drake said.
"Yes," Alina said, smiling. "Exactly. Someone I can trust to help me take care of the class." 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Rocky raised his hand slowly. "Do... do they have to be strict?"
"No," she said gently. "They just need to be kind, responsible, and someone others feel comfortable going to."
Luna nodded seriously, already looking like she was preparing to guard the entire classroom.
Boo floated a little higher, thinking very hard. "Do they get something special?"
Alina tried not to laugh. "Maybe a badge. And extra responsibility."
"I volunteer," Boo said immediately.
"You can’t just volunteer!" Drake protested. "There should be a challenge. Like a race. Or a strength test. Or a snack test."
Felix rubbed his forehead. "Leadership is not decided by a snack test."
Lucien, who had been quiet, spoke calmly. "It should be someone everyone trusts. Not someone who is just loud."
The room went a little quieter.
Alina’s expression softened hearing that.
"Yes," she said quietly. "That’s important."
Sable gave Lucien a small, serious nod, his little hands folded properly on his desk like he was already preparing for responsibility.
"I want to be class representative too," Drake announced loudly, puffing his chest like a tiny dragon king who had just claimed a mountain.
Luna’s ears twitched, and she sat up straighter, eyes sharp. "No. I want it. I am the only girl here. It should be me," she said, a low protective growl slipping into her voice like she was already defending her title.
"I want to become one too!" Boo declared dramatically, floating higher and spinning once for extra effect. "I can float and help teacher from a top view."
"I can do that too!" Drake said instantly, not even willing to lose imaginary air points.
Before anyone could stop him, Drake pushed off the floor and lifted into the air slightly, wings flapping behind him, while Boo floated nose to nose with him, both glaring like two very small, very dramatic rivals.
"Move," Boo said, pushing Drake’s shoulder.
"You move," Drake pushed back, their tiny bodies bumping mid-air like two angry balloons.
