I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 526 Parents meeting (20)
Count Vladimir inclined his head slightly, his perfect grace evident in every movement. "We will take a look. It is important to understand where our son spends his time."
Even Alpha Ryker rose from his seat with a thoughtful expression, clearly evaluating how this learning space shaped his daughter into the fierce little wolf she was becoming.
Alina felt a quiet satisfaction bloom in her chest like a warm flower opening to the sun. The earlier nervousness she had felt about standing before such powerful parents had faded completely. Now she stood comfortably as their children’s teacher, guiding them not just through marks and rankings, but through the space where those marks were earned, where those rankings were achieved, where their children laughed and learned and grew.
"Alright," she said gently, gesturing toward the door. "Please follow me."
The babies immediately jumped up from their seats, suddenly very protective of their personal territories. Small bodies moved with urgency, eyes wide with the realization that their parents were about to see their secret spaces.
"Do not open my drawer!" Boo warned dramatically, floating in circles of panic. "The drawer is a forbidden zone! A private kingdom! Ghost secrets only!"
"Why?" Luna narrowed her eyes suspiciously, already more interested in this forbidden drawer than she had been in anything else all morning. "What is in the drawer?"
"It is a private kingdom," Boo repeated firmly, crossing his translucent arms. "Kings do not explain their kingdoms."
Drake ran ahead toward the classroom door, his small dragon feet pattering against the floor. "I want to show Dad my desk! And the crack on the wall that looks like a dragon! I drew it myself! Accidentally! With my head!"
Kelpie grabbed his mom’s sleeve excitedly. "Come, come! I want to show you my desk!"
His mom and dad followed him, smiling.
Dante rose more slowly than the others, his presence steady and commanding even in this simple movement. His dark gaze briefly rested on Alina before he moved, something unreadable flickering in those dark crismon eyes.
"Lead the way, Teacher," he said quietly, his deep voice sending an unexpected shiver down her spine.
She nodded and walked ahead, the hallway filling with footsteps, soft conversations, and small bursts of laughter from excited children. Parents followed in a loose group, some holding their gift boxes, others simply observing their children’s joy with quiet smiles.
As they entered the classroom, several parents paused at the threshold. They seemed to like how bright and colorful it looked, how welcoming it felt. Sunlight streamed through the windows, casting warm patterns on the floor. Little desks sat in neat rows, each one personalized by its tiny occupant.
Kelpie ran to his desk proudly, water droplets spraying gently in his excitement. "This is mine! Look, I have a shell collection in the corner! And my name written in water words!"
Rocky pointed shyly at his neat stack of arranged pebbles in a corner box, each one polished and sorted by size. His stone cheeks flushed with pride as his parents admired his organization.
Luna quickly straightened her books before her parents could inspect them too closely, adjusting the stack, smoothing the corners, making sure everything looked perfect. Her tail gave away her nervousness, swishing rapidly behind her.
Felix crossed his arms, standing beside his seat like a tiny supervisor ready to critique any inspection. His red eyes watched his mother approach with a mixture of affection and wariness.
Boo floated toward his area dramatically, gesturing grandly at a small desk. "Welcome to Ghost Headquarters. Center of operations. Brain of the operation. Please remove shoes before entering. Ghosts are particular about floors."
Luna tugged at Queen Serafina’s elegant sleeve with both hands, her earlier fierceness replaced by quiet excitement.
"Come," she said, trying to sound calm but clearly eager. "I will show you my nap spot."
Alpha Ryker followed behind them with measured steps, but his eyes were softer now as he watched his daughter lead the way like a tiny commander.
"This is my nap spot," Luna announced, pointing proudly at a neatly arranged little mat. A small folded blanket sat on top of it, and beside it was a plush rabbit with slightly worn ears.
Queen Serafina crouched gracefully despite her regal attire, brushing her fingers over the blanket. "You sleep here every day?"
Luna nodded. "Sometimes I do not sleep. I just close my eyes and think."
Alpha Ryker’s brow lifted faintly. "Think about what?"
Luna glanced at Alina quickly, then lowered her voice. "Strategies."
Drake snorted from across the room. "She practices growling." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"I do not," Luna snapped, but her ears turned slightly pink.
Meanwhile, Boo declared grandly, throwing his arm outward, "And this is my favorite place in the entire universe."
He flew toward his nap corner and immediately scooped up his banana plushie, hugging it tightly against his glittery silver shirt.
"My royal guard," he whispered reverently, then held it up for Sir Santo to inspect.
Sir Santo looked down at the plush banana with a straight, unreadable expression, his golden eyes thoughtful.
"I see," he said gravely.
"This is a very rare species," Boo added seriously. "Very loyal."
Sir Santo nodded once. "You chose wisely."
Boo beamed, his tail sweeping left and right in excitement. "I knew you would understand!"
He then leaned closer and whispered loudly, "Sometimes I tell it about classroom politics."
"I am certain this keeps them well informed," Sir Santo replied with equal seriousness.
Meanwhile, Dante stood a little apart, his arms loosely crossed, watching the scene unfold. He had already seen this classroom countless times. He knew where every desk stood, which cushion belonged to whom, which wall had been recently repaired.
But today was different.
Today, Sable and Lucien were pulling him by the hand.
"Dad, come!" Sable insisted, tugging firmly at his sleeve.
Lucien walked more calmly but stayed close, glancing up occasionally to ensure he was following.
"This is our desk," Lucien said quietly.
Sable pointed at his paper stack. "And this is where I keep my pencils. I sharpen them carefully."
Dante lowered himself slightly, his tall frame looking almost out of place among tiny chairs and low desks, but he did not complain. He listened.
