I Become Master of Danger Zones as Incubus With Mastery In Genetic-Chapter 755 : 175
As Alros passed through a long passage, he suddenly stopped. In front of him are two Giant Golem and 4 Elder Golems, all A-rank monsters. He can easily pass through them without breaking a sweat but he wanted to talk to the Ruler of Hexun Cavern peacefully, so it can join him on a not-so peaceful domination campaign.
The Golems looked at him before opening a part. Taking this as a sign, Alros entered the chamber. Inside the chamber, he could feel the sheer intensity of Mana inside.
'The Mana here should be even greater than what Zessazi's chamber could offer!' He thought in surprise.
The Demon Lord then looked around, trying to find the Ruler of Hexun Cavern. Unfortunately, all he could find was large rocks and boulders littering the chamber.
'Where is it? Unless …" Alros eyed the rocks and boulders. Using his Mana Sense, he could tell that some of the stones have greater Mana concentration, telling him one of them would be the Ruler.
'But which one?' Alros could go with the one with the greatest amount of Mana, except, it could be a trick, and he could be wrong. Plus, searching for the Ruler might make him angry as he could be hiding for some reason.
Fighting a Ruler in its territory is stupid, and could hasten his lifespan.
'Seriously, where are you?' at this rate, Alros don't think he can find the monster before it showed itself.
'Looks like I have to go to the obvious route.' Using his Mana Sense, Alros picked up the one with the highest Mana concentration despite his misgiving. Soon, he spotted his target at the center of the chamber.
Yet, just as he was about to walk to the rock, he feel something wrong. Looking at another boulder, Alros narrowed his eyes, his pupil on one particularly unassuming rock.
While his mind tried to tell him the one he chose earlier should be the correct one, another part of him told his instinct will guide him to the correct choice.
'Sorry, but I'm taking instinct side today.
Heading towards another boulder, Alros stopped in front of it before knocking the boulder.
After knocking three times, Alros wondered if his thrust on his instinct had failed him before it shook vigorously. The Demon Lord took several steps back, watching as the boulder rose until it reached the height of an African elephant.
As it stopped growing, it turned its massive head made out of an amalgamation of dirt, rocks and stones. Two white stones, almost similar to pearl in appearance, was on where the eyes should be for any living beings. So, Alros looked at it, though he doubted the monster could even see through said eyes, instead using the ability similar to his Mana Sense.
"W-why d-do you come here?" it took Alros an embarrassingly long time of one minute to realize the creature just speak despite not having a proper vocal cord.
Hiding his surprise as he could, Alros asked, "I did not expect the Ruler of this cavern can speak." He did not bother telling the monster the name of the place.
With it being hidden deep underground, it likely would not care for the name the weak human gave its home.
"I-I a-ask first." It spoke in gravelly tones, it voices sounded like stones being grinned.
"I come here to meet the Ruler of the Cavern and ask if you want to follow me into conquering the world." Alros told it the truth.

The monster did its equivalent to rising a brow, making Alros wondered how it learned to do that.
'Maybe it's not as isolated as I thought.'
"D-do I have to follow you?" it asked.
Alros shook his head, "Just pledge your loyalty to me and comply to my request, as long as it is not too much in your opinion. If you think it's too much, we can negotiate and the help you want to give." He offered.
As for why Zessazi did not receive the same offer, Alros had planned on making her the stepping stone for his male human subordinates to ascend, so talking is not in his plan for the Ruler of Forest of Bug. Though, even if he gave the Bug Empress a chance, Alros doubt it will not attack him seeing how territorial she could be.
Pushing his thought on the Bug Empress for the moment, Alros turned his attention back to the Ruler of Hexun Cavern.
"I-I agree. I pledge my loyalty to you." Alros did his best to hide his surprise. Inside, he was staring owlishly at the monster.
'… well, that was quick.' He did not have any better word for it.
"Since you agree, and I answer your question, tell me, how does a monster made out of earth can speak?" He was curious, his red eyes staring at the elemental.
Yes, he finally realized the race of the Ruler.
'An Earth Elemental.' Elemental are creatures made out of elements, hence the name. Since they did not have a true body, they could take many form, but it depends on their power, intellect, and resources around them.
For example, a weak Water Elemental could only control a puddle worth of water even if it's born in the ocean. While dumb Water Elemental could only took a simple form similar to a slime no matter how strong it is. And strong Water Elemental could only form a small shape if the it is born in a place with limited water, like a desert though it could absorb the moisture to grow itself.
The being in front of him is a powerful Earth Elemental. Alros remembered that an S-rank Elemental would receive the designation Elder Elemental. So, the being in front of him would be an Elder Earth Elemental.
'It is both strong and smart.' Alros thought. Then again, he probably should have suspect it as the intellect of powerful monsters always similar to sentient races, for most part. Hence why they were able to form strategies, create encampments and build a society, even if it's rather primitive by the standard of civilized nations.
He then shifted its thought to the Elder Earth Elemental who spoke,
"I learn it from those fleshy beings on the surface."
