I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level-Chapter 288: Avalon vs Three Enemies Guild
Ethan left the city behind with Sera flying quietly at his side. Laurensia personally escorted him all the way to the outer gate, ensuring that his departure was smooth and without interference.
At the gate, they stopped. This was where their paths separated.
Ethan already knew the route he needed to take toward Ascalon City, especially after Laurensia willingly shared her scouting data.
That information alone had shortened his journey by days and eliminated unnecessary risks.
After exchanging brief farewells, Ethan and Sera lifted into the air, leaving City Exca behind.
They headed north, following the route indicated on the map panel, where Ascalon City was marked as their destination.
Ethan kept his map panel open as they flew. Dots filled the area around Ascalon. Many of them.
Guild territories crowded tightly together, forming a dangerous cluster. However, the map offered no names, no emblems, no affiliations—only anonymous dots representing cities.
Are they allied... or enemies waiting to strike?
As they flew closer, the scenery below began to change. Green fields disappeared. Forests thinned out.
The ground beneath them was scarred and lifeless.
Grasslands were burned into blackened soil. Trees stood dry and twisted, reduced to charred skeletons.
The land looked like it had been scraped raw by something violent and relentless.
It was the only area in the tropical region that lacked life.
"What happened here?" Ethan murmured.
The answer became painfully clear the closer they got.
War.
A brutal, ongoing war.
From the sky, Ethan could see flames rising, magic colliding, and troops clashing violently.
Explosions ripped through buildings and walls. City structures crumbled as spells and siege weapons struck them again and again. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
The target was clear: Ascalon City.
Three cities had formed an alliance to bring it down.
Three against one.
It was overwhelmingly unfair.
Ethan slowed to a stop midair. Sera halted beside him, both of them hovering high above the battlefield, observing the chaos below.
"It looks like your ally’s city," Sera said calmly. "The enemy seems determined to end this quickly."
Ethan nodded. "Yes. Their troop numbers are massive. They’re coming from three different cities."
He clenched his fist slightly.
"Kevin won’t be able to hold them back for long on his own."
Sera turned her head toward him. "What do you want to do?"
Ethan scanned the battlefield carefully.
The three enemy cities had sent the majority of their guild members to participate in the assault on Ascalon.
Their own cities were left behind with only standard city troops guarding them.
That was a weakness. A fatal one.
Cities protected only by NPC forces lacked adaptability and high-level coordination.
An opportunity like this was rare.
"I’ll head straight to the front lines and help Kevin," Ethan said decisively. "You go to each enemy city."
Sera listened intently.
"Crush them. Destroy their military barracks."
Sera nodded without hesitation. She never questioned his orders. Never argued.
Ethan’s commands were absolute.
She shot off toward the nearest enemy city, her golden sword blazing as she descended from the sky.
Panic erupted instantly. City troops scrambled into formation, alarms rang out, and defensive spells activated.
But none of it mattered. They couldn’t even reach her.
BLAST!
A massive explosion tore through the city as Sera struck directly at its military facilities. The barracks collapsed, engulfed in fire and debris.
Without barracks, the city would be unable to produce new troops for a long time.
Exactly as Ethan intended. Far away, similar explosions erupted in the other two cities.
Smoke rose into the sky like black pillars. Meanwhile, Ethan descended directly into the heart of the battlefield.
He landed hard. The impact sent shockwaves through the ground, forcing nearby soldiers to stumble and fall.
Panic spread instantly as heads turned toward him.
"Who is that?!" someone shouted.
"That’s... EthanArk!" another voice screamed.
The name rippled through the battlefield like lightning.
Kevin, positioned behind Ascalon’s city troops, stiffened when he heard it.
"EthanArk is here!" one of his members shouted excitedly. "And—!"
The guild member paused, listening to incoming reports.
"There are explosions in Bennix, Cassia, and Zero City. Their cities are burning!"
Kevin broke into a wide grin.
"So he really came," he said.
Then he raised his weapon high.
"EthanArk is here to save us!" Kevin roared. "Victory is ours!"
The response was immediate. Avalon’s morale surged. Cheers erupted. Fear vanished.
Their formation shifted.
What had once been a defensive stand turned aggressive. Avalon troops surged forward, emboldened by Ethan’s arrival.
The enemy forces faltered as their focus split between Ethan and the suddenly advancing Avalon army.
Ethan extended his hand. The Bloodblade Ashura materialized instantly.
The moment his fingers closed around the hilt, his appearance changed. Red markings spread across his skin like burning tattoos, pulsing with raw power.
A violent surge of energy exploded outward.
[Mode Ashura Activated]
Without wasting a second, Ethan charged forward. Enemy city troops rushed to intercept him.
They stood no chance.
A single Crimson Slash tore through the front lines, carving a path of destruction. The attack detonated in a massive crimson explosion.
BLAST!
Bodies were torn apart. Blood splashed across the ground. Screams echoed into the sky.
Witnessing Ethan’s overwhelming power, the leaders of the three enemy guilds made a desperate decision.
Retreat.
They attempted to fall back toward their cities. But then the news reached them. Their cities were already burning. Barracks destroyed and infrastructure reduced to rubble.
"No... no way..."
"DAMN YOU, KEVIN!" one guild leader screamed in rage.
Before they could regroup, Ethan appeared among them.
Too fast.
Too sudden.
"ETHAN?!" someone shouted in disbelief.
Ethan didn’t bother with basic attacks. This wasn’t a battle worth dragging out.
He drove his sword into the ground and closed his eyes.
"Bloodflare Cataclysm."
The world shifted.
A blood-red domain expanded outward, trapping everyone within it. A suffocating pressure settled over the battlefield.
Enemy stats plummeted. ATK reduced. AGI crippled.
Meanwhile, Ethan felt power flood his body. The domain would last twenty seconds.
"What is this place?!" someone screamed in terror.
Ethan pulled his blade free. Then he moved.
He vanished and reappeared among the enemy guild members, one after another. They saw him coming—but their bodies refused to respond.
One by one, every enemy guild member fell. No one escaped.
When the twenty seconds ended, the domain collapsed.
Silence followed.
Horror filled every remaining face. The enemy guild leaders froze, realizing the truth.
Continuing this fight meant certain death.
"What do you want, damn it?!" one of them shouted, desperation cracking his voice.
Ethan turned slowly. His gaze was cold, unforgiving.
"Your Core Crystals."
