I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level-Chapter 302: The Arrival of Sacred Hall Guild
***
Three days later.
The global chat forum read a message from Ethan, acting as the Team Leader of LionArk and the Head of the Eastern Alliance.
The content of the message requested that every guild refrain from migrating to the desert region unless they were members of the Eastern Alliance.
Anyone who recklessly attempted transmigration would be considered a threat by LionArk and all cities within the Eastern Alliance, and could potentially be attacked and destroyed.
They clearly read Ethan’s message. Some regretted Ethan’s stance, while others understood it after witnessing the rivalry between LionArk, Redemption Sword, and Scavenger.
That left them with no choice but to comply with Ethan’s warning.
That day, the major meeting among team leaders in the desert region came to an end.
The purpose of gathering them all was to formulate a plan to prevent an invasion from the tropical region.
One by one, the team leaders from other cities came forward to bid Ethan farewell. They left LionArk City with a concrete conclusion.
First, a military encampment would be established ten kilometers from the canyon.
Every city was required to send ten percent of their total soldiers, while LionArk was obligated to send twenty five percent.
Laura calculated that the total number of soldiers from all cities reached seventy five thousand, which meant that seven thousand five hundred soldiers would be stationed at the canyon encampment.
LionArk itself had gained around five thousand soldiers over the past three days, bringing its total city forces to approximately thirty five thousand. All city leaders agreed to request that LionArk contribute twenty five percent.
That meant LionArk would send around eight to nine thousand soldiers to the encampment. The total number of troops there could reach fifteen to sixteen thousand.
Second, the frontline cities. Ethan determined the frontline cities based on geographical location. There were three cities located close to the canyon, roughly seventeen kilometers away.
When war broke out and an invasion occurred, Ethan would signal all cities to deploy their troops to those three cities.
Mischa City, Gargon City, and Heino City.
Third, reconnaissance posts. He requested that all city team leaders form scouting teams composed of guild members who possessed wind element servants.
The reason wind elements were chosen was because their flight speed was faster than other servants.
LionArk would also form its own reconnaissance teams and reorganize the composition of each military unit.
The meeting concluded with those three key points. Laura summarized everything and explained to Ethan that she would prepare all necessary arrangements.
Hanss was elsewhere, focusing on resource management and soldier recruitment.
The goal was simple: increase the quantity of LionArk’s soldiers so they could contribute more in the coming war.
Ethan remained standing at the northern gate, silent, contemplating every possible outcome that could occur.
War would indeed happen. It was only a matter of time. However, who would strike first could not yet be determined.
At the very least, Ethan had two trump cards whose cooldowns had already finished, currently in the process of being reactivated into aggressive mode if needed.
"Sooner or later, Arthur and I will still end up fighting in this event."
Ethan let out a quiet breath. "Hmm... I want this event to end soon."
In the midst of the peaceful atmosphere in front of LionArk City, a violent wind resembling a tornado suddenly blew, concentrating to the west of the city.
Ethan was startled and instinctively turned his head.
It was no ordinary tornado. The wind carried dirt, rocks, and debris along with it.
Someone had transmigrated and recklessly claimed an empty spot to the west of LionArk City.
Ethan turned to Laura. "Put all military units on alert. Deploy them outside the western gate!"
"I understand!" Laura replied firmly.
The situation inside LionArk City became chaotic as many team members prepared themselves and moved out with their respective military units.
Ethan’s steps halted when he reached the outside of the eastern gate, running along the city wall.
His eyes locked forward, his hand stretching out to grasp Bloodblade Ashura.
[Mode Ashura Activated]
His appearance changed. His eyes glowed red, crimson tattoos spread across his body. He was ready to face any possible situation.
Stone by stone assembled into a structure, banners fluttered, and the tornado vanished once the construction was complete.
Thousands of soldiers from military units one through seven stood on standby behind Ethan, ready to fight the enemy who had suddenly transmigrated.
When Ethan saw the emblem and colors of the flag flying over the city, he looked shocked.
"Sacred Hall?"
"Sacred Hall? Aren’t they an S Rank guild? Aren’t they part of the Redemption Sword Alliance?" Laura asked.
Ethan nodded, clearly seeing that the background colors of their banner were red and black, similar to the banners of the Blood River Ink Alliance.
Although it was proven that they were part of Redemption Sword’s alliance, Ethan felt that something about them was strange.
First, they migrated and chose a location right next to LionArk, even though everyone knew Ethan could easily destroy an enemy city on his own.
Second, they chose to migrate even though Redemption Sword and Scavenger had already informed them about the agreement with Ethan.
Arthur was not foolish enough to send Sacred Hall as bait.
So what was he really thinking?
The eastern gate of Sacred Hall City opened. Thousands of their city’s soldiers marched out, followed by their guild members. Their troop numbers were far fewer than LionArk’s.
Several mounted members from Sacred Hall advanced forward. Laura ordered all troops to prepare to attack, but Ethan raised his hand.
"Hold."
They did not attack. Instead, they set up a white tent in the middle of the desert, right at the edge of the soldiers’ arrow range.
A white flag was planted into the ground. Everyone knew what that meant.
"A white flag? Are they surrendering?"
Ethan shook his head. "No. They’re requesting negotiations."
"Stay here and monitor their movements. I’ll go there myself," Ethan said firmly.
Laura cleared her throat and nodded. Ethan activated his horse mount and rode swiftly toward the white negotiation tent.
There was no aggressive response from the enemy when Ethan arrived. As he opened the tent flap, Ethan saw an elegant woman seated inside, waiting for him.
"I’m glad you were willing to come and negotiate with me," the woman said.
"You and your guild arrived so suddenly. My soldiers and I could easily destroy you."
"Haha. Without a fight, I could surrender just as easily," the woman replied.
Ethan narrowed his eyes, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Ethan!" the woman said, her expression turning serious as she leaned forward. "I will hand over Sacred Hall’s core crystal, as long as you are willing to grant our city protection."
Ethan let out a small laugh. "Your city would disappear if its core crystal were handed over to me."
"Not this city," the woman clarified. "The Sacred Hall city in the central plains."
The man in front of her stopped laughing, curiosity sparked by what he had just heard.
"I’m listening."
