I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level-Chapter 329: War Of The Eastern Lion Finale 1
An hour passed before one of the alliance unit commanders approached Ethan. He reported that every unit was ready to move.
"How many soldiers do we have left?"
"About fifty-five thousand remaining."
"We only lost five thousand. That’s good," Ethan said.
He turned toward the harbor. All the ships were docked at the city’s northern port. Eight vessels in total were ready to sail.
Jack stepped up beside him and explained that his team members and troops were prepared to fight alongside the Eastern Alliance.
He added that he would bring five thousand city soldiers, enough to cover the alliance’s losses from the previous battle.
Ethan did not object. However, he firmly reminded Jack that he would not take full responsibility for any Blazing Arrow team member deaths.
Jack nodded in understanding. He already accepted the consequences of fighting two S-rank guilds.
"I understand."
Ethan summoned all the unit commanders to gather. Before heading to Nuwa City and Aqua City, he needed to finalize the invasion plan.
They used Blazing Arrow City’s town center, large enough to hold dozens of people. Within minutes, everyone was assembled.
Ethan began outlining the strategy forming in his mind. From the total sixty thousand troops under his command, he would divide them into two separate forces.
"Forty thousand troops will attack Nuwa City with me. We’ll defeat the Redemption Sword."
"The remaining twenty thousand will head to Aqua City and destroy Scavenger. The troops waiting in the coastal region will join the assault on Scavenger."
"That means four ships will sail to Nuwa City. The rest will go to Aqua City."
He did not only explain troop distribution but also the technical aspects of the assault.
To counter Scavenger, which was dominated by assassins, they would need to restrict assassin mobility using traps or rely on tank-type warriors.
Assassins were troublesome opponents, but they had one weakness. Their HP was the second lowest after priests. They were fragile and could be eliminated quickly.
The units assigned to attack Scavenger acknowledged Ethan’s instructions.
Then Ethan explained how to confront the Redemption Sword. Unlike Scavenger, Redemption Sword was dominated by two classes, mages and warriors.
They covered both long-range and close-range combat effectively with that combination.
The only viable option was to mirror their assault pattern, as there were not many assassins within the alliance units.
Ethan would serve as the spearhead of the attack. He was certain Redemption Sword had solid offensive and defensive formations.
He and Sera would become the core force to break those formations, whether defensive lines or attack patterns.
All the unit commanders understood his plan. They would execute it carefully and ensure the enemy formations were shattered.
The meeting ended. Each unit was ordered to prepare.
Ethan assigned Jack and the Blazing Arrow forces to Nuwa City. As an archer class guild, their long-range attacks would effectively suppress Redemption Sword’s team members.
After preparations were complete, they set sail from the island toward Nuwa and Aqua. The estimated travel time was three hours, as Nuwa City was close to the territory of the Sword Legend Guild.
The other four ships separated from Ethan’s fleet and headed toward the coastal region to retrieve the remaining troops. Yuna and Nathan were there, ready to coordinate the attack on Scavenger.
"Lyodra!"
[Mode: Aggressive Soul Servant]
[1. Lyodra Vulkanis | Lv. 10 | S-Rank | Passive → Aggressive | 2500 MP]
As usual, Lyodra’s chibi form floated forward. A red light flared, transforming her into her full adult form, wearing a gown of flames and wielding a lava blade.
Her perfect form appeared, leaving Jack stunned at Ethan’s side.
"Lyodra. Go north and scout the situation in Nuwa City."
She gave a brief nod and shot into the sky, leaving a blazing red trail behind her. Ethan watched her go. Lyodra was his only servant capable of aerial reconnaissance.
"What’s the situation in Nuwa City?" Ethan asked Jack.
"The combined forces of the archipelago have already arrived. They’re assisting in the defense."
"Not only that. Your servant’s overwhelming strength has been suppressing Redemption Sword."
"Right now, only the Redemption Sword remains there."
Could Redemption Sword have seized core crystals from the teams that joined them?
It was impossible for city troops to defeat them as long as the Redemption Sword remained.
Ethan nodded. He knew well how strong the Redemption Sword was on the offensive. This would be a long and exhausting war.
But Peter had been smart to deploy all his forces to Nuwa City immediately. He understood that if the Redemption Sword fell, Scavenger would collapse as well.
Their morale would shatter. Their confidence would crumble. That was the direct consequence of Redemption Sword’s destruction.
Three hours later, Ethan saw that the island’s southern dock had been destroyed. They had no choice but to sail through the strait to reach the city harbor.
Ethan walked to the bow of the ship and witnessed Sera’s overwhelming power blocking Redemption Sword’s attacks.
His view was partially obstructed by the surrounding hills. The only way to fully assess the battlefield was to enter the city or rely on Lyodra’s report.
Lyodra was still there, forced to fight the Redemption Sword’s servant. Sera continued holding the line, focused solely on protecting Nuwa City.
An hour later, the northern dock of the city came into view. City team members noticed the approaching fleet. Sir Peter had already informed Nash, the leader of Spirit Lancer Guild, about the situation.
"Leader Nash! The Eastern Alliance fleet has arrived!"
Nash and Peter immediately stopped their discussion and walked toward the dock as Ethan and Jack disembarked.
"You’re Sir Ethan?" Nash asked.
"Yes."
Unexpectedly, Nash dropped to his knees before Ethan, shocking Peter, Jack, and the Spirit Lancer members.
Ethan quickly told Nash to stand.
Nash explained that he bowed because of Ethan’s servant. Sera had come to defend the city against Redemption Sword and revealed that her master was a man named Ethan.
There was only one Ethan in this war, EthanArk, leader of the Eastern Alliance.
"Please, act normally, Leader Nash."
"Thank you for sending your servant, Sir Ethan."
Ethan nodded and walked with Nash, Peter, and Jack toward the southern wall of the city. The four of them stood atop the walls, looking down at the devastated battlefield.
Corpses of city soldiers were scattered everywhere. Only a few Redemption Sword members were actively attacking.
The rest remained on standby within their small encampment.
"The situation isn’t favorable for us, Sir Ethan," Nash said.
"Redemption Sword’s city troops are nearly depleted, but we’re worried about their team members’ strength."
Nash’s concern was valid. A single Redemption Sword team member was stronger than a thousand city soldiers. That imbalance had cost Spirit Lancer heavy losses.
"If we rely too much on city troops, I fear the same mistake I made will happen to you," Nash added.
Ethan agreed. There were not many city troops left on Redemption Sword’s side, but attacking with city soldiers alone would not be effective.
It might overwhelm them temporarily, but not enough to eliminate them.
Sera turned when she sensed Ethan’s aura behind her. A wide smile spread across her face as she saw him.
She flew toward him. "Are you alright, Ethan?"
"I’m fine. How about you?"
"I’m just exhausted. They’ve been attacking nonstop," Sera replied.
"Do you have a plan to defeat them?" she asked.
Ethan remained silent for a moment, staring at Redemption Sword’s encampment.
Suddenly, his hand extended forward, summoning Bloodblade Ashura. As he gripped it, his appearance changed. Red tattoos spread across his arms and face, and his power surged.
[Mode Ashura Activated]
Peter, Nash, and Jack gasped. Simply by holding the crimson-bladed sword, Ethan’s presence and strength skyrocketed.
None of them could stand against him. His power might rival Arthur, leader of Redemption Sword.
"Help me fly, Sera!"
Sera nodded and extended her hand, channeling her energy into him. Moments later, Ethan’s body lifted into the air, astonishing the others once more.
With Sera at his side, Ethan flew swiftly toward the enemy camp. His purpose was not to attack, but to speak with Arthur.
He believed he could persuade Arthur, given how unfavorable the war situation had become for Redemption Sword.
Several Redemption Sword members saw him approaching, mistaking him for a servant. They launched combined magic attacks toward him.
Ethan unleashed Crimson Slash.
Their spells shattered midair. An explosion lit up the sky, but it was not enough to harm him.
They stared in shock. Their combined magic had been effortlessly destroyed by the crimson-aura man covered in red tattoos.
"You?! Who are you?!" one of them shouted.
"I want to meet Arthur."
A muscular man stepped out of a large tent, holding a massive sword. He tilted his head upward and smiled.
"You have an impressive servant... almost like a goddess," Arthur said, his gaze sharp.
"You look confident about winning, even though you have no guild members left."
"You?! You’re Ethan from the Eastern Alliance?"
Arthur burst into loud laughter, hands on his hips, his greatsword resting at his side. There was no visible hostility in his response.
"I’ve been waiting for you, Ethan!"
"Waiting for me? For what?"
Arthur stepped closer to him.
"Help me... eliminate Scavengers."
