I closed my eyes and slept on a tree. The next day, I woke up and raised my upper body while yawning.

I was dragged quickly down the tree branches, my back hitting the ground. It kept dragging me until I reached an area filled with bones.

"Let me go..." I raised my sword and swung it toward the plant tendril that was holding me. It stopped dragging me when I reached its territory.

But before my sword could reach the tendril, another one shot out and grabbed my hand that was holding the sword. Another tendril grabbed one leg, and another the other leg.

I was hung in the air.

These damn plants... even though I was sure my sleeping spot was far from their areas, I still fell into their hands. I moved my hands and legs trying to resist, but it was useless. I was completely restrained.

Many tendrils rose, pointing themselves at me like spears.

I looked at them and could see death coming from them.
