I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 563: Massive Data
The virtual server’s size was already beyond its current capacity.
Although a Virtual Server could grow with each additional piece of data it contained and processed, the process was long, taking millions of years.
Even with all the data from the Covenant of Truth, it shouldn’t have grown this big.
The only conclusion Nash could come up with was that the Convention of Truth had fed it additional living metal to accelerate its growth.
"This size should be enough to process all data in a domain territory!" Nash thought, still in shock.
The data in a Domain Territory was enormous.
Although each sector had its own virtual server to connect and link each place, the required processing power was immense.
"Huh~ The Star Alliance has really taken off this time..."
From treasures, equipment, and resources, to the private server, they already had everything.
Besides their overall strength, they should not be worse off than those top domain alliances.
After admiring the Virtual Server’s size, Nash extended his consciousness inside.
Browsing through the list of data, Nash felt a little overwhelmed.
Using all his available computational power, he began scrolling through each string of data, trying to at least remember the title of each book.
However, as seconds, minutes, and hours passed, Nash felt he hadn’t made even a small dent.
"This is too much..."
With over a quadrillion computation power, Nash could skim quintillions of strings of data, yet after hours, he had barely made any progress.
And this was just reading the title of each entry. Nash wondered how long it would actually take to process all of them.
"This would take me years..." Nash sighed, stopping his useless effort.
He had thought he could at least build a table of all the information in the virtual server. He didn’t expect he couldn’t even get through the index.
It seemed Nash had underestimated the sheer volume of data in all of the Xenus Junction.
"However, most of this information should be repeated or overlapping."
Although knowledge was infinite, there was only one truth.
As long as all the information was correct, everyone would eventually arrive at the same conclusion.
Meaning, as long as he could create a program that categorized each similar topic, the data he needed to process would shrink by a large degree.
"No, I don’t need to do it myself. There’s Axis!" Nash suddenly remembered.
As long as he had enough Seals of Truth, Axis could handle all these tedious tasks!
Not wasting another moment, Nash quickly entered the Virtual Server of the Covenant of Truth.
---
[Welcome back, Lord Nash. Is there something I can help you with?]
"Can you help me process the data in a private virtual server?"
[Certainly. You just need to connect it to the public virtual net and link it to the Covenant of Truth.]
"I see. Wait a second."
Splitting off a piece of his consciousness, Nash quickly connected the Private Virtual Server to the public virtual net.
Then, following the process Axis had given, he linked it to the Covenant of Truth.
"How is it? Is it connected?"
[I’ve gained access to the private virtual server. What would you like me to do with it?]
"Oh? You processed it that quickly?" Nash was a little shocked.
As expected of the artificial intelligence that controlled all knowledge of the Covenant of Truth.
"Can you help me sort out all similar information and topics? Group them together to form a single string of data." Nash requested.
Although he wanted Axis to remove all similar information and merge the rest, he knew it would be too expensive.
Grouping all similar topics into one was more than enough for his needs.
That way, if he needed information, he could easily retrieve it.
For deeper mastery, he could also read further, accessing all related information and topics.
[This is feasible. However, your current Seal of Truth balance is not enough.]
"What? Don’t I still have over 500 billion Seals of Truth? How could it not be enough?"
[The data contained in your virtual server is too massive. I need to use my main processor to handle everything.]
"I see. Then can you offer an alternative I can afford?"
[I can lower the quality of the data merging.]
"How will that affect the final result?"
[The similarities would be broader and less precise.]
"That’s fine. Use all my Seals of Truth and process it at the highest quality you can." Nash sighed.
Although less than ideal, at least he would know what to look for when he needed something.
Otherwise, even if he could search by term, title, or topic, with that much data, Nash would still be lost on where to even start.
[Do you confirm processing all the data?]
"Yes. How long will it take?"
[The process will take approximately 1,200 hours.]
"Good, there’s enough time!" Nash heaved a sigh of relief.
1,200 hours were equal to 50 days. If it were any longer, they would have already left for the Wild Void Area.
Fortunately, it seemed Axis had taken into account that he would be participating in the Cosmic Competition.
Leaving everything to Axis, Nash returned to reality and continued optimizing the [Disguise Module System].
As for the [Adaptive Module System], he had already completed the optimization a week ago.
Besides improvements to various abilities, allowing him to adapt in extreme elemental environments, there weren’t many changes.
Nash had thought he could add a degree of law resistance, but unfortunately, it wasn’t feasible yet.
It wasn’t a matter of lacking runic mastery. There simply wasn’t a specimen he could base it on.
There was no creature that could resist the power of law through physical constitution alone.
Either they used elemental power strong enough to counter it, or they used the power of law itself to resist.
With his current energy level, he couldn’t supply the [Adaptive Module System] with enough energy to resist law-based attacks.
"Once I advance to Void Marshal Rank, there should be some progress." Nash thought.
For now, he could only move on to the next module system.
The [Disguise Module System] was already the last module system he needed to optimize.
After that, he just needed to improve all the universal modules in the runic system.
Although there were many of them, optimizing each one was simpler and shouldn’t take much time.
With everything progressing smoothly, time began to pass in a breeze...
