[DarkSlayer: Moment of silence for Oliver.]
[Keltic_Spirit: Now, please don't seal his storage? At least give him a chance.]
…
Oliver was standing in front of Victoria, his legs visibly shaking.
Victoria was smiling. "Come on. Where is your courage like last time? If you keep putting on this act, people will think I'm bullying you or something. No. People, especially your parents, might misunderstand you."
Oliver's face was pale as his back was drenched in sweat. She definitely said it on purpose, Oliver thought.
Victoria must want his parents to misunderstand and learn about that mistake through it. This way, it would be him who was considered giving away that mistake to them, not her.
"Can I surrender right away?" Oliver asked Theo, as if asking him, 'How am I supposed to fight her? If I win, it will be over. If I lose, my parents will judge me as useless as well.'
Theo shook his head. "No. You're not allowed to surrender."
Oliver looked at Victoria, whose smile widened every second. He had never thought he would be so scared upon seeing someone's smile.
"I will do my best. I will be fighting here, not changing anything," said Oliver with a shaking voice. He knew that this place would be the best place for him to be defeated immediately. At least he wanted this to be over as quickly as possible.
Theo then stepped back while declaring, "Match begins!"
Without hesitation, Victoria summoned her crown and scepter.
Oliver took out noise-canceling headphones so that she couldn't order him around. This was what her opponents would use to fight her in the first place.
As if knowing Oliver would get such an item, Victoria simply ordered, "Beat him!"
Oliver felt the fluctuation of essence before the gale suddenly gathered and hit him on the cheek.
"Buooh?!" Oliver widened his eyes. Before he realized it, he was already launched into the air. 'What happened?'
Oliver was trying to see what was actually going on, albeit he couldn't see the gale. Then another gale erupted and hit him from above, slamming him to the ground.
"!!!" Oliver's head was planted on the ground. At this point, he thought that he should get beaten up and let Victoria release her anger, then get defeated.
However, Victoria didn't seem to be planning the same thing.
After those two attacks, Victoria didn't use another ability, as if telling him to look at her.
The moment he raised his head, he couldn't help but read her lips, saying, 'Come and attack me or the consequence will be worse than you imagine.'
Oliver panicked. He had to do what she wanted.
"Aaaahhhh!" Oliver waved his hand. He took out water from his inventory… a lot of water. It was gushing out even more ferociously than the water from Haruka's talisman. It looked like he wanted to fill this entire area with water.
"Split!" Victoria gave another order as the water ultimately followed her order and moved in two different directions, as though they were avoiding her.
Oliver took out a fireball this time, sending it toward her.
"!!!" Victoria raised her eyebrows. After all, this fireball felt extremely similar to the one Lancelot used.
"Is he able to store even the essence and their ability?" Baold stood up in shock. The other representatives couldn't help but squint their eyes. If this was true, Oliver's worth would skyrocket from this point on.
However, Oliver used his Inventory in the wrong way.
When he sent forth the fireball, he leaped forward with a much faster speed than the fireball, as though he planned to use himself as bait to distract Victoria.
Victoria tapped the ground with her scepter while unleashing her essence.
The moment Oliver unleashed the next item, she would neutralize it before handling the fireball.
To her surprise, Oliver suddenly jumped into the air.
"Huh?" Victoria was confused, wondering what Oliver planned to do with the fireball behind him.
And that answer came when the fireball suddenly hit his back.
"Aaahhhh! I was too late." Oliver screamed in pain as he fell to the ground and blasted by the fireball.
"He…" Victoria gasped. She realized she was being outsmarted once again. Oliver knew that he couldn't win. Instead of enduring the humiliation, he would end this fight as soon as possible by throwing his own attack on himself.
That was right. His plan was to defeat himself since he couldn't surrender. Victoria simply couldn't believe it. Let alone other representatives or guardians. Even his friends couldn't believe he actually took himself out. This was the first time, so Victoria didn't think of this possibility.
With this, Theo had to end the match, and Victoria couldn't beat him anymore. If he hurt himself badly enough, his parents wouldn't be able to ask him about it since they would have to go back to their work. Besides, he had done his best to make it look like an accident because he hadn't mastered this technique yet.
As he expected, Theo appeared right next to him, albeit with a disappointed look.
"That's the end." Theo declared, while wiping out the flame.
Oliver just dropped to the ground, feeling tired mentally. He was just glad that this was over.
Victoria glanced at Oliver before closing her eyes.
"The final score is…" Theo sighed, while saying inwardly, 'Sorry, but I don't think I can fulfill what you want…'

"10 out of 100."
The representatives raised their eyebrows, thinking Oliver should have gotten a bit higher score, considering he had shown his ability even though the battle was short.
Theo, on the other hand, whispered to Oliver. "You fool. If you're going to be scared of her, you should have brought out poison and tried to drink it, acting like you have done something wrong and paid with your life.
"As an educator, you will instantly get Victoria's sympathy, and for you going all the way to commit suicide, your parents will forgive you for everything you've done and once you come clear with them, they will think it's not a big deal… at least not to the level where you should commit suicide.
"This way, your parents will help you and the entire thing will end with just one simple apology. You're good at acting, so you can actually use it to make her surrender."
"…" Oliver blinked a few times in disbelief. Why did he not think of such a plan? It was no wonder why Theo gave him such a low score. Oliver just felt more exhausted and collapsed to the ground wanting to cry but having no tears. "Just kill me, please…"
